About: Rei and I have taken care of, and been around a variety of cats all our lives, whether it be an adult or a kitten. Ever since I was a child, I would feed any cat I would see on the street and check up on them for as long as I could. We have one cat thats about a year and a half that I rescued at a park. Recently, we adopted a kitten from the shelter that was unfortunately underweight and we had to spend days trying to get her to eat and making all sorts of meals from scratch for her. Unfortunately, she was admitted into the hospital and did not make it even with the most extreme medical care. From then on we decided to be more proactive when It comes to animals in need and will do everything in our power to take care of our furry friends.

Our usually shy, anxious kitty Daisy warmed up to her immediately which is incredibly unusual, but Jaclyn clearly has an innate ability to make pets feel safe, secure and loved in her presence. Her communication is excellent- she sent multiple photos, videos and updates with every drop in and went above and beyond to take care of not just Daisy, but also a group of outside community cats that we feed who *also* took to her right away. When we got home from our trip, our kitty was calm, content and like we’d never left (whereas in the past when others have fed her in our absence she would be anxious and hide for a couple of hours until she re-acclimated). Jaclyn is kind, calm, observant, caring, thorough and communicative. I now can’t imagine ever asking anyone else but Jacky to take care of Daisy when we’re away, and am so grateful to have found her. About: I have had pets in my home my whole life until my dog recently passed away. I was reluctant of letting in another because I didn’t want to go through the grief all over again. Recently, I have had a feeling to help out as many animals as I can. Don’t be sad it’s over, be happy it happened!!! I want to give these babies love and support no matter the cost. I do this by volunteering at the shelter, and hopefully being able to take care of your pets through Rover!!! I am available whenever needed! I am a full time student with a flexible schedule. I will work around the times that fit your needs. I take dogs out for walks, babysit, and take them on day trips to stimulate themselves. I know bigger dogs especially get stressed out so I like to get them moving. I have toys available and a big land for them to play.

I have four dogs and usually it’s hard to find somebody willing to take care of all four dogs together.
