About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I currently have two cats, two dogs, and a parrot, so I truly understand how much love and attention pets need every day. From feeding, walking, and playtime to keeping them comfortable and happy, I enjoy every part of taking care of animals. About: I’ve been around and cared for animals for most of my life. In high school, I was part of the Veterinary Science Magnet Program at Felix Varela, where I earned my CVA certification and studied veterinary science and animal care. I also spent around three years training dogs through the program. During my senior year, I completed an internship at a veterinary clinic, where I got about two years of hands-on experience working as a vet tech. I fostered throughout high school and for a while after, which gave me experience caring for pets with different personalities, behaviors, and needs. I have experience with pets of all different sizes and ages and I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, basic training, and of course giving them plenty of attention and love. Having pets of my own, I know how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of them. I currently work part-time and am also in school, but I have a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time for pet care. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and other care depending on what you and your pet need. I always follow each pet’s normal routine and any instructions provided by their owner. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, medications, leash safety, doors and gates, and any behavioral or medical concerns. I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and needs, and I make sure they feel safe and comfortable while in my care. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own.

About: Caring for pets isn't new to me. I'm the go-to pet sitter for a few of my best friends whenever they travel, and I've cared for everything from energetic young dogs to senior pups who require extra patience, medications, vitamins, and special care. I know every pet thrives on consistency, so I always ask for detailed instructions about feeding schedules, walks, medications, favorite toys, sleeping habits, and any little quirks that help them feel safe and comfortable while their family is away. After more than 20 years in the corporate world, including over 13 years in Human Resources, I recently decided to take a career break and slow things down a little while I figure out what’s next. It’s given me something I haven’t had much of in my career — flexibility. My schedule is very open, which means I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I’m caring for. I’m not rushing in and out between a full-time job or trying to squeeze pet care into an already busy schedule. I can work around their normal routines and be there for the walks, playtime, meals, medications, or simply the company they’re used to having. I’m starting locally because I’ve been caring for friends’ and family members’ pets for years and would love to continue doing something I genuinely enjoy while building my Rover experience. I’m also hoping to eventually combine pet sitting with my love of travel, so this feels like a really fun new chapter for me. If your pet has a specific schedule or needs someone who can be flexible, I’m happy to work around their routine. And if plans change or something unexpected comes up, I have the flexibility to adjust without it becoming a problem I can’t care for pets in my own home because pets aren’t allowed in my apartment, so I primarily offer care in your home. (My own pets live with my brother, so we have what you would call “joint custody” haha. I’m the auntie who visits any chance she gets and also the sitter whenever my brother is out of town.) Although I’m new to Rover, caring for pets and being responsible for someone else’s home is certainly not new to me. When I’m staying in their homes, I treat it with the same respect and care I would give my own. I’m tidy, respectful of your space, and mindful of your home and belongings. I’m also BIG on routine. Before you leave, I want/NEED to know detailed instructions on how things normally work for your pet — feeding times and portions, walks, medications or vitamins, bedtime, favorite treats, where they like to sleep, and all those little quirks that make them them. Show me their routine, and I’ll do my best to keep things as normal as possible while you’re away. Because I’m taking a career break, I have the flexibility to spend real quality time with your pets. Whether they love long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I’m happy to keep them company throughout the day rather than just stopping in to feed them. I’ll also send regular photos and updates so you know how they’re doing and can actually enjoy your time away knowing they’re safe, comfortable, and in good hands :)

I got her at 3 months old and loved every moment until her last breathe at 13 and half years old. I will take care of your pet as if they were my own. I am caring, honest and educated.
