Pet care experience

Fun, loving, professional

My name is Maddie and I would love to have the opportunity to take care of your pup! I am a graduate of Harvard Law School and I am working on finishing my masters in counseling. I was surrounded by animals growing up: I have had a total of 6 dogs (Bichon, Jack Russel, Yorkie ,Poodle, and 2 Australian Shepards) and 4 cats. I am experienced with a wide variety of personalities and needs. I have experience taking care of elderly dogs with medical conditions. I am comfortable with almost any breed or age, I only ask that you provide me with enough information where I can make sure your pet has the best experience it can with me. (E.g., temperament, treat preferences/ allergies, favorite toys/ activities, illnesses/ sensitivities). I have always loved animals, and I would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby!

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

Safety and comfort are always my first priority. I have a secure, fenced yard and a calm environment where pets can relax, play, and explore safely. I’m patient, attentive, and always supervise outdoor time. I’m happy to crate if requested, follow feeding and medication instructions closely, and maintain whatever routines help your pet feel secure. If I’m in a client’s home, I treat their space with respect and make sure doors, gates, and leashes are handled responsibly at all times.

I would recommend Maddie to anyone looking for someone who gives their pet lots of attention when you leave them with her. She gave me lots of updates and had great communication. My pup is also a special needs dog and she did really great with tending to his emotional and physical needs. He needs a lot of patience to trust and when I returned to pick him up he was very comfortable with her ❤️❤️❤️

Maddie was amazing! Incredibly flexible and understanding, I went away for several days and had zero worries thanks to Maddie. My dog has some health concerns which Maddie handled perfectly. Could not recommend someone more to trust both in your home and with your pet.

Maddie isn't just a dog owner, she's a dog parent. I've known Maddie for the better half of a decade and she has always been great with animals, dogs in particular. She treats her Australian Shepard, Louis, as if he were her own child. Whenever I am out of town or stuck at work, I've always relied on Maddie to look after my three dogs and I know they're in good hands. Sincerely, Tommy S

Maddie is excellent! I trust her completely to take care of my four dogs while still giving each of them their own undivided attention and love. She is very responsible and trustworthy. You cannot find anyone else like her!! Thank you for everything Maddie!!

Maddie has been one of by best friends for over 8 years and I know her to be an amazing and caring dog lover. Maddie has been an excellent dog-mom to a teacup Yorkie, a Jack Russel, and an Australian Shepherd, which demonstrates that she can do well with different breeds and sizes. No matter what is going on in her life, she always finds time to play and take care of her dogs by taking them to the park and showing them the love and affection that they need. Her Australian Shepherd, Louis, is one of the best trained dogs I've ever experienced. He even comes out with us to parties and dinners! I could not recommend Maddie enough to be your dog sitter! Your dog will be in great hands with someone that truly loves and appreciates animals. No matter the breed or size, Maddie will do a wonderful job in taking care of your dog and keeping him or her happy.

Schedule

My schedule provides for plenty of flexibility and hands-on time with the fur babies I care for. I can typically adjust my schedule as needed for walks, drop-ins, or boarding. When a pet is in my care, they become a priority in my routine, and I make sure they receive consistent attention, exercise, bathroom breaks, and companionship throughout the day.

Please let me know about any special needs, medical conditions, allergies, routines, or behaviors so I can give your pet the best possible care. I’m very open to working with different temperaments, including anxious or shy dogs, and I’m happy to follow training or house rules you already have in place. The more I know about what helps your pet feel safe and happy, the better I can tailor their experience.
