Hi I'm Helen! As someone who has been riding and caring for horses since I was 8, I can say with confidence that your beloved pet will appreciate the time and effort I put into making his or her experience comfortable, memorable, and full of belly rubs! I am currently a student at the University of Florida, but will be in Miami for a few weeks before I head to New York to compete with my horse, Bella. At home, I have a beautiful mutt named Menemsha and a cat named Rosie, who I rescued from underneath a bush in my back yard when I was 6. There is truly nothing I love more than getting to know and care for different pets, and I can't wait to meet yours!

I don’t currently offer care services at my home, as my cat is pretty skittish! When I’m at your home, I will diligently tend to your pet’s needs, and follow any care instructions you may provide.

It’s always hard to leave your beloved pet with someone who isn’t family but after the first time Helen watched Luna, she instantly became family. When we arrived, Helen was so warm and welcoming, Luna quickly forgot I was even there. A bit too quickly for me! She sent us updates and photos which allowed us to enjoy our vacation knowing she was being well taken care of. Helen trains horses as well, so Luna got a bit of training while she was there! Luna is a two year old border collie, so she’s high energy, but Helen kept up with her and even tired her out! I wouldn’t hesitate to leave Luna with Helen again! Luna’s looking forward to it too!!

Schedule
I’m currently working part time as a wellness coach. Between client meetings & check ins, I have several free hours during the day. I am happy to work with you & manage my schedule to better suit your needs!

- Please let me know if your dog/cat has any special needs or is prone to antisocial behaviors (either with humans or other animals). I have some experience dealing with anxious and slightly aggressive pets, but prefer ones with basic obedience skills.
