I came across Rover while searching for a sitter for our late dog, Pebbles. We adopted her as a puppy, and she was 12 when we lost her in 2019. She had never spent a night away from us her entire life, and honestly, my own separation anxiety had a lot to do with that. 😂 Then came Rocco in 2020. For the next six years, he was my sidekick and the unofficial welcome committee. He greeted every new and old friend with a happy wag, and animals have always seemed to gravitate toward me. I think Rocco just took that gift and made it his own. We lost him in 2026, and his absence has left a very noticeable quiet in my life. So I completely understand wanting to find the perfect person to leave your baby with. They’re family, and trusting someone with them is a big deal. That understanding is a big part of what I bring to Alero Collective (on IG!) where every dog in my care gets personalized attention, affection, and a whole lot of spoiling. And someday soon, I hope to adopt another companion of my own. I’m looking for the kind of dog Rocco was: welcoming, playful, affectionate, and genuinely happy to make new friends. I love leaving Kodi with Patty. He is a handful and she always takes great care of him. She only takes one dog at a time so you know your baby will get all the attention they deserve. She keeps me updated with pictures and videos at all times we love Patty ❤️
This was our first time leaving Rocco with someone other than family in a long while. Patty and her family loved on him and he was always with someone. Rocco is an old man (13) and Patty managed his medication without issue. It was great to get daily videos of him enjoying the outside. Highly recommend!
I can't speak highly enough about the level of love and care Rex received from Patty and her family. I haven't left Rex with anyone I don't know before, as I was skeptical that anyone would take care of him well enough. Knowing I had to be out of the country for 2 weeks, I looked through countless profiles on Rover and finally decided to reach out to Patty. We met within days to see if it would be a good fit. I could tell right away that this wasn't just a job for Patty- she really just loves dogs (my kind of person!). From the meet and greet, she promised to treat him like her own, and she most definitely did. I think she sensed my nervousness about leaving Rex and she sent me multiple updates and videos daily. She took Rex on mini adventures and he seemed to be totally happy. I loved getting all the pics as it definitely gave me peace of mind and allowed me to have fun on my trip. I think the quality of his stay can be summed up when I arrived at the door to pick him up. He started barking to protect Patty's house like he was protecting his own:) When new travel opportunities come up, I will most definitely ask Patty to take care of Rex again, as I can't imagine him having a better stay anywhere.
Patty is fantastic and you get the benefit of having her family as well! This was our second time booking with Patty and I am happy to say that my dog Roger has found his “second“ forever home!
Patty took great care of our dog during his recent stay! Highly recommend and will use again without hesitation. Very communicative and kept our dog comforted and engaged throughout his stay.

Schedule
We adopted Pebbles, an American Bulldog, in 2008 and daughtered her until her last day in July 2019. While our hearts healed, we began boarding on Rover.

In March 2020, we adopted Rocco, our lovable and lazy senior Poodle who welcomed every new friend with a happy tail. Rocco crossed the rainbow bridge in January 2026, and while our home feels a little quieter these days, it remains just as full of love. At this time, we do not have a dog of our own, which means your pup will receive our full attention and care.
A typical day
This response is individually determined by each client. Does your pet prefer an active or relaxed schedule? Once we’ve established dual interest in boarding, I’ll send out a standard list of questions that’ll help me adapt quickly to your babies needs.
