Jaclyn was amazing, I could tell she really cared for my pets felt very safe leaving them in her hands. She was always very on time and sent me so many pictures 💗 We also had a large storm which caused some property damage and she kept me informed so we could start to handle from a distance. Would really recommend Jaclyn, I hope she is available for my times away in the future 💗

About: I’ve taken care of friend’s and family’s pets for years when they’re away on vacation/travels. I pay attention to detail, meaning that I won’t just feed them and meet their basic needs; I will also share quality time with them so that they don’t feel alone, bored, or anxious while you’re gone. I’m a teacher on sabbatical, so my availability is pretty flexible nowadays. I’m very active and enjoy a good long walk, but I’m also very calm and focused. Your pet will feel like they have a companion while also having their needs met. I can easily follow directions in terms of what your pet needs to be safe in their home. Whether it’s getting them in a crate, walking around the neighborhood with their leash, playing outside if you have a patio, etc.

Miranda was wonderful! Today was the first time she walked our three dogs. She was so professional, responsive and sweet. Her summary was so detailed about her walk and feeding session. She even sent us a bunch of pictures on Rover app of our dogs during their walk. Highly recommend her services and will schedule her again for next time we need her help!

About: I have taken care of my own dogs and cats since I was little. I am a certified dog trainer at school, helping puppies at their beginning training stage! I cut my cat’s nails! I’m currently a full-time college student living off-campus. I have class every day but do have time to go back during breaks if needed. I also work on campus. I wake up fairly early and go to bed late. When dog sitting, I make sure the home is clean, confirm the dog(s)/cat(s) are eating, drinking water, and doing their business. If necessary, I know how to crate an animal and am comfortable with older pets as well.

I’m looking to pet sit, do walks, and check in’s since I love animals and have a bit more free time this year! I also have a car so I am able to drive to pickup and drop off! I promise I will treat your furry friends like my own with the utmost care & love! I’m currently a Junior at the University of Miami. My only priorities are my classes but besides my class time, I am completely available to take care of your pups! We don’t have much of a backyard but I walk my own puppy about 4x a day through the grassy front yard and to the dog park in our complex. About: "I love animals—I really do! I have had dogs my entire adult life. I am very outgoing and friendly, and the messy parts of pet ownership (dirt, smells, etc.) don't bother me at all. I am also very patient and understanding; being a single mother to two teens since they were young has certainly prepared me for anything! I graduated from UW and spent over 20 years in corporate America, but now I am excited to find a new path working with animals. I am always available by phone or text, and I am happy to highly attentive 'helicopter' hoomans, I'm here to help! I'm currently wide open to care for your pup. I am in a career transition and what better way than to hang out with fluffy cute animals? I live in a very dog friendly building. I have a fence courtyard where Ollie (my dog) hands out and we also have a dog park right outside. I also have a crate in my apt that Ollie laughs when I tell him he needs to go in there.

About: I have always been a dog owner and I have experience being a dog foster where I have helped many dogs with their previous trauma, such as anxiety and PTSD that was caused by being on the streets and even being mistreated by their previous owners. I offered them love, care and extra attention. I also have experience house training dogs and even getting them to do the simple “sit”, “stay” commands. Overall, I love animals and I am committed to give them the best care possible. I work remotely so I am available for boarding on weekdays and weekends from AM to PM. Please feel free to reach out to me. I currently live in an apartment with no pets of my own and no yard but I have a very flexible schedule where I can take the dog for hourly walks.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found such a wonderful and dependable dog walker. He is punctual, communicates well, and most importantly, genuinely cares about our dog. Obi is always happy to see him, which says everything! He takes his responsibilities seriously and can be counted on to do what he says he will do without needing to be reminded or supervised. What stands out most is his character. He is respectful, kind, conscientious, and dependable—qualities that will serve him well in whatever he chooses to pursue in the future. Any college, employer, or organization would be fortunate to have someone with his work ethic and sense of responsibility. We recommend him wholeheartedly and without hesitation. He has been an absolute pleasure to work with.

Highly recommend! She did a fantastic job looking after Luna during a long day. She followed every instruction perfectly, from finding the key hidden by the blue gnome to being patient with Luna’s fears of elevators and ceramic floors. She was careful to use the door with only two stairs and made sure Luna got her treat sticks after the walk. It was such a relief knowing Luna was in such capable and observant hands!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
