About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I currently have two cats, two dogs, and a parrot, so I truly understand how much love and attention pets need every day. She was flexible, reliable and friendly, and even more importantly, she really took the time to connect with Bear. This was my first time leaving Bear since adopting him, and since I work from home, he is not used to spending time alone. After one drop in visit, he began howling after Natalia left; she heard him, went back inside to calm him down, left her sweatshirt for him to cuddle with, and stayed until he settled. About: I just moved here from Chicago to start a position at UM! I’ve been an animal, especially dog and cat, person my entire life. Since leaving home, I’ve had to leave my puppies with my family during this transition. I miss them so dearly - I hope to find some families who have pets in need of some help. About: I have always been a dog owner and I have experience being a dog foster where I have helped many dogs with their previous trauma, such as anxiety and PTSD that was caused by being on the streets and even being mistreated by their previous owners. I offered them love, care and extra attention. I also have experience house training dogs and even getting them to do the simple “sit”, “stay” commands. Ada did an amazing job taking care of our cat Link! This was our first time using Rover and we were nervous, but she offered to meet us beforehand for a meet and greet with Link and we could immediately tell she was very dependable and caring. She was super responsive and sent lots of pictures and updates at each visit which made us feel at ease while we were away. She even noticed that his food was running low and let us know so we could have more ordered, and she came back the next day (even though it was not officially on the scheduled request) to make sure his food bowl got filled in time. Katherine is an incredible caregiver. She treated Tamago as if she were her own. Her patience paid off, and after a few days, Tamago emerged from her shell and began to play and cuddle with her.
