Safety, trust & environment
When I’m walking a client’s dog, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always take time to get to know each dog’s energy level, personality, and walking style—whether they love a brisk walk or prefer a slower, sniff-filled stroll. I make sure they’re securely harnessed, hydrated (especially in warm weather), and that our routes are safe and pet-friendly. I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior during walks and always communicate with the owner about how things went. I’m happy to reinforce leash manners or routines you already have in place, and I treat every walk as an opportunity for exercise, stimulation, and bonding.
