“Sam was really great with my 9-year-old kitty! She sent updates and photos daily, was responsive, and overall a great communicator. At one point she told me a storm was expected and that she would be with my boy when it was thundering when he gets nervous. She also made smart decisions about not letting him out into his catio when it was too hot. Sam even gave the stray kitties in the yard some love, which was really sweet. About: I’ve had a dog ever since I was six. After his passing I knew I wanted to help more dogs out so I started volunteering at my local animal shelter. I enjoy letting them have time outside of their kennel. I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have time to care for your dogs! I’m usually free towards the afternoon and on the weekends! With my experience at volunteering at an animal shelter I’ve had the opportunity to work with both cats and dogs! Most shelter dogs are extremely excited to get out of their kennel which has allowed me to calm them down that way I ensure they are let safely out.

I'm the go-to pet sitter for a few of my best friends whenever they travel, and I've cared for everything from energetic young dogs to senior pups who require extra patience, medications, vitamins, and special care. I know every pet thrives on consistency, so I always ask for detailed instructions about feeding schedules, walks, medications, favorite toys, sleeping habits, and any little quirks that help them feel safe and comfortable while their family is away. After more than 20 years in the corporate world, including over 13 years in Human Resources, I recently decided to take a career break and slow things down a little while I figure out what’s next. It’s given me something I haven’t had much of in my career — flexibility. My schedule is very open, which means I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I’m caring for. I’m not rushing in and out between a full-time job or trying to squeeze pet care into an already busy schedule. I can work around their normal routines and be there for the walks, playtime, meals, medications, or simply the company they’re used to having. I’m starting locally because I’ve been caring for friends’ and family members’ pets for years and would love to continue doing something I genuinely enjoy while building my Rover experience. I’m also hoping to eventually combine pet sitting with my love of travel, so this feels like a really fun new chapter for me. Show me their routine, and I’ll do my best to keep things as normal as possible while you’re away. Because I’m taking a career break, I have the flexibility to spend real quality time with your pets.
