About: Hello! I am a college student with classes 2/7 days of the week, which allows me to be flexible with your loved pets. I have experience walking dogs sized 5-130 lbs and cared for dogs with many specific care needs. I can walk pets for as long as they may enjoy, can take them to the dog park or other locations as desired (including to get Pup Cups!) I am used to walking at least two dogs at a time as well as different sized dogs. I love running as well so if that happened to be of interest, I am more than happy to do so. I am very available for drop-ins as well. I am a student and part time employee, so I am able to fit walks and sitting in between my classes and work. It is my passion! I am happy to take care of pets as needed, including feeding, walking, etc. I am always actively present with the pets in whatever way they need.

About: Hi! My name is Mayra, and I’m a professional pet groomer with experience dating back to 2015. Although I’m not currently working full time as a groomer, grooming is my passion and something I continue to do with love and care. I also groom cats from time to time and am currently expanding my skills as a cat stylist. In addition, I have two years of experience as a small animal caretaker, which included cleaning habitats and administering medication when needed. Being a pet stylist has taught me a great deal about animal behavior, allowing me to provide calm, patient, and attentive care. I previously had two fur babies of my own who are now in heaven, and they taught me the importance of trust, compassion, and treating every pet as if they were my own. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet in someone else’s care, and I hope to be that person for you. I’m now a stay-at-home mom, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to be present with your pet. I groom occasionally, but my main focus is providing attentive, loving care and making sure your fur baby feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pets are kept in a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment. I follow their normal feeding schedule, potty routine, and any specific instructions provided by the owner. Pets receive plenty of love, playtime, and rest, and I make sure they feel comfortable and stress-free while away from home.

About: Ever since I was 12 years old, when I had my first puppy, I saw animals as great teachers of the mystery of life and God. Besides small household pets, I have owned two donkeys and sheep. There is no challenge too big (or small) for me. Dogs and livestock are almost like human beings, and no matter what their species or breed, all dogs and livestock deserve to be treated humanely. I enjoy taking care of animals and as God's steward of creation, I consider pet sitting not just a job but also an obligation in my day to day life. Dogs and cats have different needs and requirements, but safety and trust is first and foremost: a secure shelter from the elements of nature and predators. In some instances a crate may be helpful or even necessary. If a pet owner has a preference for the crate, I shall be diligent with respect to returning the dog to his crate after each visit.

About: I’ve cared for rescue pets my entire life and grew up with three rescue Jack Russell Terriers, each with their own unique needs and behavioral challenges due to their past homes. From a young age, I learned how to manage high-energy, sensitive dogs in a way that is both loving and structured, always prioritizing the safety of the dogs, the people around them, and other animals. I raised all three dogs from early adulthood (around 1–2 years old) through their senior years, which gave me extensive experience with every life stage - including early mornings, late nights, and the extra care and patience that senior pets require. Beyond my own dogs, I’ve pet-sat for a wide range of breeds, from Rottweilers to Westies. I genuinely love spending time outdoors with dogs and enjoy long walks, letting them explore, smell the roses, and soak up the sunshine. I also make sure they get plenty of playtime with their favorite toys and the cuddles and comfort they need while waiting for their humans to come home. I recently moved to Coconut Grove, Miami, from Oyster Bay, Long Island. Since my Jacks passed on, I miss my dogs immensely. Caring for other people’s pets allows me to share that love, attention, and responsibility with your fur babies, treating them as if they were my own! I currently work in marketing for an Olympic sailing team that trains primarily in Coconut Grove, Miami, which gives me flexibility and free time during the day for playdates, walks, and check-ins with your pups. My schedule is usually open between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, but I’m happy to be flexible and work around that if your pup needs some extra love earlier or later. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets, whether in my home or in a client’s home. I closely follow each pet’s routine, including feeding instructions, medications, walk preferences, and any special needs. Having lifelong experience with rescue dogs, I’m very mindful of leash safety, doors, surroundings, other dogs/people around them, and reading body language to keep pets comfortable and secure at all times. I keep environments calm, clean, and low-stress, and I always prioritize safe walks and supervised play. I also believe communication is key. I’m happy to send updates and photos so you feel confident and at ease while you’re away.

Given my free time now this year, pet care fits into my schedule in whatever capacity my clients need me. I would love to walk your pet but am also open to going over for feedings if your out of town or simply checking in on them in an emergency.
