“Jaclyn was amazing, I could tell she really cared for my pets felt very safe leaving them in her hands. She was always very on time and sent me so many pictures 💗 We also had a large storm which caused some property damage and she kept me informed so we could start to handle from a distance. Would really recommend Jaclyn, I hope she is available for my times away in the future 💗”

About: I’ve taken care of friend’s and family’s pets for years when they’re away on vacation/travels. I pay attention to detail, meaning that I won’t just feed them and meet their basic needs; I will also share quality time with them so that they don’t feel alone, bored, or anxious while you’re gone. I’m a teacher on sabbatical, so my availability is pretty flexible nowadays. I’m very active and enjoy a good long walk, but I’m also very calm and focused. Your pet will feel like they have a companion while also having their needs met. I can easily follow directions in terms of what your pet needs to be safe in their home. Whether it’s getting them in a crate, walking around the neighborhood with their leash, playing outside if you have a patio, etc.
About: I’ve been caring for pets for several years and truly enjoy spending time with animals of all kinds. I have experience with dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, and I understand that every pet has unique needs. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or simply providing companionship, I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I’m reliable, patient, and attentive to details, and I’ll treat your pets with the same care and affection I would give my own. I’m currently a full-time college student and am home for break, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so I’ll make sure your pet gets the attention, exercise, and care they deserve while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s needs, follow all care instructions carefully, and make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away. I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind, and I’ll always treat both your home and your pets with the same care and respect as I would my own

I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting, and I’m happy to discuss a schedule that works best for you and your pet! I have a dog and cats of my own, so I’m used to having pets around the house. I don’t have a yard or a crate, but I can provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for pets who are comfortable being around other animals.

About: I’ve been around and cared for animals for most of my life. In high school, I was part of a veterinary magnet program where I earned my CVA certification and got about two years of hands-on experience working as a vet tech. I spent around three years working in dog training as well. I’ve fostered both dogs and cats, which gave me experience helping animals with different personalities and needs adjust and feel comfortable. I have experience with pets of all different sizes and ages and I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, basic training, and of course giving them plenty of attention and love. Having pets of my own, I know how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of them. I currently work part-time and am also in school, but I have a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time for pet care. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and other care depending on what you and your pet need. I always follow each pet’s normal routine and any instructions you leave for me. I’m comfortable handling different personalities and needs, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and gets plenty of attention while in my care. I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I would my own.

“Thank you for walking Max and Bucky Joseph! Joseph was great, handled two dogs very well and took direction with caution and care which we really appreciated! He also speaks Spanish which is a plus when communicating with my mom who sometimes takes care of our boys. I would recommend him! He was never late and always sent pictures and report promptly.”

“Mercedes is excellent!!! Super responsable and punctual. She maintains constant communication and gave us reports on each walk. We stay happy and confident leaving our furry son with her!!!!”

About: I have had pets in my home my whole life until my dog recently passed away. I was reluctant of letting in another because I didn’t want to go through the grief all over again. Recently, I have had a feeling to help out as many animals as I can. Don’t be sad it’s over, be happy it happened!!! I want to give these babies love and support no matter the cost. I do this by volunteering at the shelter, and hopefully being able to take care of your pets through Rover!!! I am available whenever needed! I am a full time student with a flexible schedule. I will work around the times that fit your needs. I take dogs out for walks, babysit, and take them on day trips to stimulate themselves. I know bigger dogs especially get stressed out so I like to get them moving. I have toys available and a big land for them to play.
“Very communicative about the whole process of taking care of my pups which is super important to me! 10/10 recommend and trust with the pups :) ❤️ Thank you for everything!!”

“Autum did an amazing job with Ace! He can be a big, affectionate dog, and she handled him so well. He came back happy, calm, and clearly enjoyed his time with her. 10 out of 10 paws 🐾”

About: I've loved dogs since I was a kid and always tried to learn the most I could about their cute faces. I used to volunteer with animal rescue groups in high school and am very comfortable around pets. To me, working with Rover is a great way to have animals in my life again as a college student. I'm currently a student at FIU as an Accounting major but I have plenty of free time to care for your sweet little fur baby. I might not look it but I am strong enough to carry a 100lbs dog if needed. I know how it feels when your dog gets loose so I will keep a watchful eye on your pup to avoid any heartache.
About: I grew up with animals, but since I moved to Miami I’ve been fostering and caring for shelter dogs. I have experience in dogs of all ages and sizes- especially seniors. I have enough treats and toys for a puptastic time! I currently am a biology pre-vet student who studies from home and loves to spend time with animals. I am happy to accommodate to any certain needs! I offer respect for the animals and the owners, with love and understanding. This is the second time we go on a week long vacation and book Priscilla to walk our boys Max and Bucky. She is super responsible, timely and attentive to my babies needs. I mistakenly didn’t click on one day of the week and when I asked her if she could please still make it, she was there within the hour. I have peace of mind knowing my boys will be walked properly with her. It’s not easy walking two larger male dogs but she does it well and is attentive to their needs, safety and comfort while on the walk. We will keep having Priscilla take care of our babies for sure! Thank you!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
