“The thought of leaving my Belgian Malinois, Axel for a week with perfect strangers was very difficult for me. My previous experience with boarders was not a very positive but I was left with no choice since we had already booked a family vacation on a week long cruise. I found Frank and Marlene on Rover and almost immediately, felt very comfortable with the thought of leaving Axel with them. Frank suggested that we meet them in person prior to ensure that we were a good fit. After our first meeting, i knew i had found the right people! They are animal lovers and we share similar interests. Fast forward to the day we dropped Axel off, he didn't even look back when Marlene led him inside. Marlene sent us photos and videos of Axel at various times of the day throughout the week. I know when Axel is bored or frustrated and let me tell you, that one one happy boy!!! They played fetch with him, they allowed him to play with multiple toys, they took him for rides on a golf cart, he interacted with other animals they care for. He was as happy and relaxed as he is on our farm. In fact, my wife spent a good deal of time showing off the pictures and videos to anyone who'd care to watch. on several occasions, we were asked if there were any "Axel Updates" by other passengers we met throughout the week. I can't say enough about the care that this wonderful family provided for our Axel. Please feel free to reach out to me directly for more details if necessary. Recently, I have had a feeling to help out as many animals as I can. Don’t be sad it’s over, be happy it happened!!! I want to give these babies love and support no matter the cost. I do this by volunteering at the shelter, and hopefully being able to take care of your pets through Rover!!! I am available whenever needed! I am a full time student with a flexible schedule. I will work around the times that fit your needs. I take dogs out for walks, babysit, and take them on day trips to stimulate themselves. I know bigger dogs especially get stressed out so I like to get them moving. I have toys available and a big land for them to play.
About: I’ve been around and cared for animals for most of my life. In high school, I was part of a veterinary magnet program where I earned my CVA certification and got about two years of hands-on experience working as a vet tech. I spent around three years working in dog training as well. I’ve fostered both dogs and cats, which gave me experience helping animals with different personalities and needs adjust and feel comfortable. I have experience with pets of all different sizes and ages and I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, basic training, and of course giving them plenty of attention and love. Having pets of my own, I know how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of them. I currently work part-time and am also in school, but I have a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time for pet care. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and other care depending on what you and your pet need. I always follow each pet’s normal routine and any instructions you leave for me. I’m comfortable handling different personalities and needs, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and gets plenty of attention while in my care. I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I would my own.
About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life and have taken care of senior pets as well. I love interacting with them and understanding the way they socialize with us, they bring pure joy to me and nothing makes me happier than knowing that they are taken care of and happy I have plenty of time, I’m currently not employed and would love to use my time in what I truly enjoy which is taking care of pets I take well care of pets in my own home or the clients home, making sure they have everything they need and ensure the environment is safe for them

About: Taking care of your pet is going to be the highlight of my day. I’ve always had a pet as part of my family, but I recently moved and cannot have a pet as my own. I’m currently working until 3 pm every day, so I’m available to play and take care of your best friend(s) after it. On weekends you can also count on me. About: I grew up with animals, but since I moved to Miami I’ve been fostering and caring for shelter dogs. I have experience in dogs of all ages and sizes- especially seniors. I have enough treats and toys for a puptastic time! I currently am a biology pre-vet student who studies from home and loves to spend time with animals. About: I've loved dogs since I was a kid and always tried to learn the most I could about their cute faces. I used to volunteer with animal rescue groups in high school and am very comfortable around pets. To me, working with Rover is a great way to have animals in my life again as a college student. I'm currently a student at FIU as an Accounting major but I have plenty of free time to care for your sweet little fur baby. “The thought of leaving my Belgian Malinois, Axel for a week with perfect strangers was very difficult for me. My previous experience with boarders was not a very positive but I was left with no choice since we had already booked a family vacation on a week long cruise. They played fetch with him, they allowed him to play with multiple toys, they took him for rides on a golf cart, he interacted with other animals they care for. He was as happy and relaxed as he is on our farm. In fact, my wife spent a good deal of time showing off the pictures and videos to anyone who'd care to watch. on several occasions, we were asked if there were any "Axel Updates" by other passengers we met throughout the week.
