“Arianna is very sweet and caring with Ginger. She was patient to allow Ginger to warm up to her, and we greatly appreciate her cleaning up our home if there was an accident left behind. We do recommend her absolutely.”

About: I’ve taken care of friend’s and family’s pets for years when they’re away on vacation/travels. I pay attention to detail, meaning that I won’t just feed them and meet their basic needs; I will also share quality time with them so that they don’t feel alone, bored, or anxious while you’re gone. I’m a teacher on sabbatical, so my availability is pretty flexible nowadays. I’m very active and enjoy a good long walk, but I’m also very calm and focused. Your pet will feel like they have a companion while also having their needs met. I can easily follow directions in terms of what your pet needs to be safe in their home. Whether it’s getting them in a crate, walking around the neighborhood with their leash, playing outside if you have a patio, etc.
“Priscilla is great with our German Shepherd puppy! Our Raven just loves her and actually listens to her, which is great because she is definitely in her teenager phase 😂”

“Excelente experiencia! Fue una persona muy responsable, amable y cuidadosa con mi Barney. La trató con mucho cariño, cumplió perfectamente con el paseo y me mantuvo tranquilo sabiendo que estaba en buenas manos. Sin duda volvería a contratarla y la recomiendo totalmente.”

About: I love animals! I have taken care of my 16 year old chihuahua since he was born. He’s my entire world. My family/ friends also rely on me to feed watch their fur babies and I always show up with a smile. I am currently a full time student with availability Friday-Sunday. Being around animals helps me calm down and I will make sure they feel the same way. I have a room full of toys and a crate to keep your dog entertained and safe. My neighborhood is very walkable so we will go on many walks.
About: I have had pets in my home my whole life until my dog recently passed away. I was reluctant of letting in another because I didn’t want to go through the grief all over again. Recently, I have had a feeling to help out as many animals as I can. Don’t be sad it’s over, be happy it happened!!! I want to give these babies love and support no matter the cost. I do this by volunteering at the shelter, and hopefully being able to take care of your pets through Rover!!! I am available whenever needed! I am a full time student with a flexible schedule. I will work around the times that fit your needs. I take dogs out for walks, babysit, and take them on day trips to stimulate themselves. I know bigger dogs especially get stressed out so I like to get them moving. I have toys available and a big land for them to play.

I’ll carefully follow any instructions you provide regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, and home access. About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet parent to both a dog and a cat, so I understand that every pet has a different personality, routine, and comfort level. I’m active, patient, dependable, and attentive to details such as feeding instructions, walks, playtime, medications, and behavioral cues. I’m comfortable with all kinds of dog/cat personalities from energetic dogs to puppies who need structure and consistency, and older pets who may require a gentler pace and extra patience. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure owners receive regular updates, photos, and peace of mind while they’re away. I love to teach dogs new skills too. I have taught my own dog over 10 commands. I am also experienced with newborn pets I work from home and have flexible hours, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention throughout the day rather than leaving pets alone for long periods. I can also adjust my schedule to follow each pet’s normal routine and make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and safe while their owner is away. I care for every pet according to their normal routine, personality, and specific needs. I carefully follow all instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications, and sleeping arrangements so their schedule stays as consistent as possible. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure their pet feels safe and comfortable in a familiar environment. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a clean, calm, and supervised space with plenty of attention, exercise, and rest. I also prioritize safety by keeping doors and gates secured, monitoring pets closely, and never introducing them to unfamiliar animals without the owner’s approval. I send regular photos and updates so owners can feel confident and connected while they are away.
About: I’ve been around and cared for animals for most of my life. In high school, I was part of a veterinary magnet program where I earned my CVA certification and got about two years of hands-on experience working as a vet tech. I spent around three years working in dog training as well. I’ve fostered both dogs and cats, which gave me experience helping animals with different personalities and needs adjust and feel comfortable. I have experience with pets of all different sizes and ages and I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, basic training, and of course giving them plenty of attention and love. Having pets of my own, I know how important it is to have someone you trust taking care of them. I currently work part-time and am also in school, but I have a flexible schedule that gives me plenty of time for pet care. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and other care depending on what you and your pet need. I always follow each pet’s normal routine and any instructions you leave for me. I’m comfortable handling different personalities and needs, and I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and gets plenty of attention while in my care. I’ll treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect I would my own.
“We had a great experience with [her name]! She walked our two dogs, Charlie and Daisy, as well as my mom’s dog, Pipa. She’s very sweet, reliable, and clearly loves animals. My mom absolutely loved her, and we felt completely at ease knowing our pups were in good hands. We’d definitely book her again!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and devoted pet mom. I had my own dog for 14 wonderful years, so I truly understand that pets are family—not just animals. Leaving your dog with someone else can feel stressful, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. In our home, your dog will be treated with the same love, patience, and attention I gave my own. We provide a safe, calm, and caring environment where your pup can feel comfortable and secure. Whether your dog loves to play, cuddle, or just relax, we adapt to their personality and routine to make them feel right at home. I’m attentive to details, follow instructions closely, and will keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Your dog won’t just be a guest here—they’ll be part of our family 🤍 My availability is Friday-Monday because are the days I work from home. If I change it, is because my husband is available and can help me. I could do both, I think it changes per service, if it is onboarding I would prefer at my house, but I think this changes case by case.

Thank you for walking Max and Bucky Joseph! Joseph was great, handled two dogs very well and took direction with caution and care which we really appreciated! He also speaks Spanish which is a plus when communicating with my mom who sometimes takes care of our boys. I would recommend him! He was never late and always sent pictures and report promptly.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
