About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child. I had a Chihuahua in fifth grade until college. Then I had a miniature pincher Doberman that passed away last year at 16 1/2 unfortunately. And I still have my pitbull that is now 13 this month.I love animals, especially dogs! Dogs are love! I work full-time I have afternoon evenings off. So anytime after work I have time to walk and play with your dog(s)! Give them a treat or water if needed! Your animal will be treated kindly and properly! No need to worry about your poor baby. They will be treated with love and care, just as I treat my own.

About: Since my college years, I have been helping friends take care of their dogs. I have over 2.5 years of experience and have cared for more than 15 dogs. I am experienced with both large and small dogs, including Golden Retrievers, Great Pyrenees, German Shepherds, French Bulldogs, Yorkshire Terriers, Swiss Shepherds, and Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs. I am comfortable handling dogs with different personalities and can manage situations such as pulling on the leash or reactivity toward other dogs. I’m frequently in the Coral Gables, Downtown, and Wynwood areas, so I’m very comfortable and familiar with those neighborhoods. Safety and trust are my top priorities with every pet I care for. Since I offer walks and drop-in visits, I focus on making sure they feel comfortable and secure in their own environment. For walks, I always double-check that collars and harnesses are properly secured before heading out. I’m very mindful of surroundings, avoiding unsafe areas, keeping a safe distance from unfamiliar dogs, and paying attention to weather conditions (especially Miami heat). I follow any specific instructions you provide, including preferred routes, energy level, or training cues. For drop-in visits, I respect your home as if it were my own. When your pet stays with me, they are getting a vacation of their own. When you travel or go on vacation, they get to have a getaway of their own. Rover is definitely better than boarding your pet at a dog hotel, especially if they have anxiety. It is like Air BnB for your pet. : ) I live on a small peaceful lake with a big, fenced backyard. There is usually a nice breeze. I have a big open space home and a large backyard, plus a pool. Pets can go in the pool. I know golden retrievers and labradors can’t resist, so please let me know if your dog may attempt to go in and if you prefer that they don’t. I do not allow pets in the lake. The lake is closed off, not connected to other lakes or canals (very safe). I have a cute, playful, friendly Labrador so your pet will also have a playmate. His name is Chance. He is 7 years old and neutered. He is also crate trained. He gets along with all dogs and all sizes. In the pictures you can see other dogs I have taken care of. The last few pictures are of me and Chance having fun. Our prices are in line with the market rate (and cheaper than a dog hotel) but in my home, your dog is getting a vacation and a playmate (as mentioned in the details above). I prefer dogs that are potty trained. I also prefer friendly breeds. Please bring your dog’s bed, food and 2 poop bags per day. Also bring their crate if crate trained (this is in case only if I have more than 2 dogs during busy holiday season AND only if they are used to their home crate). It also helps some dogs feel at home and have their own scent. Be sure they are bathed and clean as they tend to also use Chance’s dog bed or lay on our rugs. I prefer they do not go on furniture but it’s ok if they do (Chance lays on the couch all the time). I am available weekends and/or holidays. I can also provide dog walks in Brickell during the weekday. On some occasions I can do a dog visit but it depends on day and location. Please let me know if you need more information or have any questions. I work full time but work from home 2 days out of the week. I keep dogs on a feeding schedule along with back yard play time and potty time. They basically do the same routine and schedule as Chance. I have a fenced in yard and one dog to keep your fur baby happy and in good company. I can crate your dog if needed or if you prefer. Please bring their crate if crate trained and sleep or are used to going in and out of their "home'. Sometimes it helps them having their scent.
