“Katherine did a wonderful job looking after my dog, Perla!! She followed all of the instructions and followed up with cute pictures and observations from her visits. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Jaen was responsible and took great care of my kitties, especially the one who needed daily medication at a specific time. She was punctual and provided excellent reports and pictures. I am very pleased with her services. I will definitely book her again. Thank you Jaen for your care, pictures and follow through.”

“Ruth is super responsive and very friendly with your babies! I had a last minute drop in I only had two hours to find someone and she was very fast at responding and helped me out in a pinch. Our original schedule was for 6 visits and she squeezed in the 7th for us last minute! Life saver!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child. I had a Chihuahua in fifth grade until college. Then I had a miniature pincher Doberman that passed away last year at 16 1/2 unfortunately. And I still have my pitbull that is now 13 this month.I love animals, especially dogs! Dogs are love! I work full-time I have afternoon evenings off. So anytime after work I have time to walk and play with your dog(s)! Give them a treat or water if needed! Your animal will be treated kindly and properly! No need to worry about your poor baby. They will be treated with love and care, just as I treat my own.
“Jennifer is an excellent sitter my dogs loved her and I am so grateful with the love that she took care of my fury kids , I would recommend her a thousand times.🐺🐺🐺🐺🐺”

About: Since my college years, I have been helping friends take care of their dogs. I have over 2.5 years of experience and have cared for more than 15 dogs. I am experienced with both large and small dogs, including Golden Retrievers, Great Pyrenees, German Shepherds, French Bulldogs, Yorkshire Terriers, Swiss Shepherds, and Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs. I am comfortable handling dogs with different personalities and can manage situations such as pulling on the leash or reactivity toward other dogs. I also stay highly attentive during walks to prevent dogs from picking up unsafe items. I genuinely care for every dog with love and enthusiasm, and I truly enjoy spending time playing and living with them!!! I'm currently have a full-time job so my time for boarding dog care will be ok on 18:00-24:00 Monday-Friday and all the day at weekend. I am highly responsible and attentive when spending time with your dog. During walks, I stay fully focused, carefully watching out for other dogs to avoid unnecessary conflicts, as well as nearby traffic. I also make sure your dog doesn’t eat grass or food off the ground, which could cause an upset stomach :)
About: I’ve been a dedicated dog owner for the past 4 years and caring for my own pup has given me hands-on, everyday experience with what dogs truly need to feel happy and safe. I personally potty trained my dog, established a consistent routine, and make sure he gets daily walks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. I understand how important structure, patience, and positive reinforcement are when it comes to training and behavior. From high-energy play sessions to calm cuddle time, I adapt to what each dog needs. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, cleaning up accidents, and reinforcing house rules while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll treat your pet like my own, with patience, care, and plenty of affection. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone, and I’m committed to giving you peace of mind while you’re away. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine! I work from home most of the time, so I have a flexible schedule — especially in the mornings before 9:30 AM and in the afternoons after 5 PM. I’m also occasionally available during the day depending on my workload, which makes it easy for me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, or feedings. I’m frequently in the Coral Gables, Downtown, and Wynwood areas, so I’m very comfortable and familiar with those neighborhoods. Since I already structure my day around being home and moving around those areas, adding pet care visits is something I can consistently and reliably commit to. Safety and trust are my top priorities with every pet I care for. Since I offer walks and drop-in visits, I focus on making sure they feel comfortable and secure in their own environment. For walks, I always double-check that collars and harnesses are properly secured before heading out. I’m very mindful of surroundings, avoiding unsafe areas, keeping a safe distance from unfamiliar dogs, and paying attention to weather conditions (especially Miami heat). I follow any specific instructions you provide, including preferred routes, energy level, or training cues. For drop-in visits, I respect your home as if it were my own. I carefully follow feeding schedules, and any routines your pet is used to. I’ll make sure doors, gates, and crates are properly secured before leaving, and I’m happy to send photo and text updates so you feel confident and informed while you’re away. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and positive experience for both pets and their owners every time.
“This is my second time using Ricardo and Carlos to check in on my cat when out of town and just as last time they provided excellent service. Very quick to respond to any messages and provided nice daily photos of the visit. I highly recommend using them.”

About: Hello, thank you for taking an interest in boarding your pet with me at a Dog’s Dream Vacation provided by a dog lover. Here is a link offering pet parents a $20 off their first booking with Rover. https://www.rover.com/sit/janetr47513 I love dogs and I am a borderline dog whisperer. When your pet stays with me, they are getting a vacation of their own. When you travel or go on vacation, they get to have a getaway of their own. If using the Rover App, scroll through the top picture to see the photo gallery of dogs having fun and enjoying their vacation. If on the desktop website, click on full gallery photos. Rover is definitely better than boarding your pet at a dog hotel, especially if they have anxiety. It is like Air BnB for your pet. : ) I live on a small peaceful lake with a big, fenced backyard. There is usually a nice breeze. I have a big open space home and a large backyard, plus a pool. Pets can go in the pool. I know golden retrievers and labradors can’t resist, so please let me know if your dog may attempt to go in and if you prefer that they don’t. I do not allow pets in the lake. The lake is closed off, not connected to other lakes or canals (very safe). I have a cute, playful, friendly Labrador so your pet will also have a playmate. His name is Chance. He is 7 years old and neutered. He is also crate trained. He gets along with all dogs and all sizes. In the pictures you can see other dogs I have taken care of. The last few pictures are of me and Chance having fun. Our prices are in line with the market rate (and cheaper than a dog hotel) but in my home, your dog is getting a vacation and a playmate (as mentioned in the details above). I prefer dogs that are potty trained. I also prefer friendly breeds. Please bring your dog’s bed, food and 2 poop bags per day. Also bring their crate if crate trained (this is in case only if I have more than 2 dogs during busy holiday season AND only if they are used to their home crate). It also helps some dogs feel at home and have their own scent. Be sure they are bathed and clean as they tend to also use Chance’s dog bed or lay on our rugs. I prefer they do not go on furniture but it’s ok if they do (Chance lays on the couch all the time). I am available weekends and/or holidays. I can also provide dog walks in Brickell during the weekday. On some occasions I can do a dog visit but it depends on day and location. Please let me know if you need more information or have any questions. I work full time but work from home 2 days out of the week. I keep dogs on a feeding schedule along with back yard play time and potty time. They basically do the same routine and schedule as Chance. I have a fenced in yard and one dog to keep your fur baby happy and in good company. I can crate your dog if needed or if you prefer. Please bring their crate if crate trained and sleep or are used to going in and out of their "home'. Sometimes it helps them having their scent.
About: "I love animals—I really do! I have had dogs my entire adult life. I am very outgoing and friendly, and the messy parts of pet ownership (dirt, smells, etc.) don't bother me at all. I am also very patient and understanding; being a single mother to two teens since they were young has certainly prepared me for anything! I graduated from UW and spent over 20 years in corporate America, but now I am excited to find a new path working with animals. I am always available by phone or text, and I am happy to highly attentive 'helicopter' hoomans, I'm here to help! I'm currently wide open to care for your pup. I am in a career transition and what better way than to hang out with fluffy cute animals? I live in a very dog friendly building. I have a fence courtyard where Ollie (my dog) hands out and we also have a dog park right outside. I also have a crate in my apt that Ollie laughs when I tell him he needs to go in there.

Kim was fantastic! She sent detailed updates and the cutest photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our cats clearly loved her, she even brought them toys that they are obsessed with. She also kept our apartment very clean and took great care of everything. We will definitely be booking Kim again!

Maria is truly a blessing. Leaving your cat behind is never easy, but with her, you feel complete peace of mind. She is incredibly trustworthy and responsible. She didn’t just “check in” - she cared for our cat with so much attention and kept us updated, made sure everything was clean and comfortable, and treated our baby like her own. When we came home, our cat was calm, happy, and clearly well cared for which says everything. We are so grateful to have found someone so reliable and kind. I would trust Maria again in a heartbeat.

Lisa was absolutely wonderful! She is highly attentive and was so caring for my senior kitty. Lisa sent lots of photos and spent quality time with Olive, which she really needed while I was away. I would absolutely trust my pets with Lisa and hope to book more pet sitting with her in the future!

Ricardo and Carlos were fantastic! They dropped in to check on my cat and were incredibly timely and reliable throughout. I really appreciated their attention to detail and the care they showed—my cat was clearly comfortable and well looked after. It’s not easy to find people you can fully trust with your pet, but I absolutely do with Ricardo and Carlos. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for dependable and thoughtful sitters!

Anna is truly amazing. She watched my cat for 11days and did such a wonderful job playing with her, keeping her company and feeding her while I was gone. Anna followed all of my instructions for care, and went above and beyond with making sure my cat was well taken for with all the time I was gone from home. Thank you so much Anna! Will undoubtedly be booking you for drop in visits again.
