Hello! My name is Alexis and I am an MD/PhD student. Outside of school, animals are a major part of my life. I am “mom” to two sweet calico sisters and in my free time, I work as a foster mom with a local cat rescue to rehabilitate kittens and help them find their forever homes! I have accumulated over 11 years of experience sitting for cats and dogs of various levels of need where my services ranged from daily walks to overnight sitting for special needs pets. I grew up with cats and dogs my whole life and I havent met a dog or cat that I haven't made fast friends with! My cats are the light of my life and I can't wait to love your pets as if they were my own. I am punctual, trustworthy, and diligent and I hope you might consider me to care for your fur babies! As a pet owner myself, I understand that you don’t take your pet’s care lightly. That’s why I am committed to giving your pet the quality, attentive care they deserve.

Schedule
I work full time and am only available outside of business hours (8am-6pm). Requests that are time-flexible generally work best with my work schedule.

- Your pet's comfort is my top priority. Before sitting him or her, I would love to know about their favorite activities or treats, any special quirks, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and anything else you think will help me keep your furry friend comfortable while you are away. I have previously cared for animals with special behavioral and medical needs including vision loss, immunocompromised, separation anxiety, diabetes, and arthritis. I am comfortable administering medications (including injectable) and can be quickly brought up to speed if your pet has any other additional needs! Before sitting for your pet, I also prefer to meet them in a meet-and-and greet. Although I know we will make fast friends, this will help me learn where all of your pet's supplies are stored, what their feeding regimen looks like, their favorite toys, etc so that I can give your pet the most thorough care possible!
