I also wake up very early at 6 am and I always have a lot of time after i finish work at 6 to make sure any booked pets are well taken care of. With animals, it is all about body language. I would make sure they approach me and get to know me first before I reach out and make contact myself. Only after then I can tell if the pet is skid-dish and needs some time and encouragement or if they trust easy I would make sure to acknowledge that and show the love back. Going from there I would be able to handle them like they were my own and make sure they are well taken care of. These animals are souls that cannot express themselves with words and I make sure I can hear them and have them trust me.

Still only fabulous things to say about Troy! Our rescue boy, an 80 lb American bulldog mix gets a bit sad and anxious when we leave, but we feel completely comfortable knowing Troy is with him! And I’m pretty sure they’ve become great buddies. When Troy showed up only a month later after his first house sitting, Cashie was super excited to see him and brought him a toy :) Highly recommend! Overall, we had a positive experience with Sofia and Archie and Miles appeared to be well cared for while we were away. Everything seemed to go smoothly and we returned home to two happy dogs. My only suggestion would be more frequent communication and photos during the stay. As a pet parent, it's always reassuring to receive regular updates and see how the dogs are doing while you're away. Regardless, we appreciated the care provided and would definitely book again in the future.

She cared for my senior dog Lulu, who has significant needs due to advanced arthritis, and Lauren handled everything with such grace, patience, and attentiveness. Carolane was amazing!! She was prompt with all responses and helped keep me updated with my babies while I was gone. She was great with my older dog Bella and my kitten Rae who recently had surgery so that was a huge relief for me as having multiple animals can be tough!
