I’ve always have been an animal lover since I was a kid being around them is nothing new as I grew up with chickens, dogs and cats. I have a 3 year old Samoyed, she is my best friend and soulmate dog. About: My family has owned pets since I was born, growing up we also fostered animals in our home. I have always been surrounded by dogs and I love every moment of it. About: Hi, I’m Cynthia, a Master’s student originally from the Midwest. I spent two months pet sitting in the D.C. area in May 2023 and that was the start of an incredible journey. About: I’ve watched and taken care and had pets of my own since I was a young girl. My family own 10 dogs in total through out the whole entire family. I work full time 4 days out of the week. I have Saturday, Sunday and Monday off. I also wake up very early at 6 am and I always have a lot of time after i finish work at 6 to make sure any booked pets are well taken care of. With animals, it is all about body language. I would make sure they approach me and get to know me first before I reach out and make contact myself. Only after then I can tell if the pet is skid-dish and needs some time and encouragement or if they trust easy I would make sure to acknowledge that and show the love back. Going from there I would be able to handle them like they were my own and make sure they are well taken care of. These animals are souls that cannot express themselves with words and I make sure I can hear them and have them trust me.

Well, a little about me is that I have two furbabies myself, a turtle and a hedgehog so I understand how important it is to find someone to truly take care of them and treat them well.
