About: I been close to pets my whole life. When I was little I had cats and dogs as pets and for me they were my best friends. I been taking care of a Cooker spaniel, Husky, Chihuahuas, French bulldogs, Yorkies, Malteses, and more.. I love to visit my friends and spend more time playing with their pets than talking with them. I owned a Frenchie. he is very healthy and friendly, I cook for him every day, I follow a schedule for walks every 4 hours during the day and I bring him to the park around 6pm so he play and burns some energy before going to sleep I currently work as an Rbt, I do have to leave the house for 3 hours from 3-6. then I’m home the rest of the time. I live on a building on Omni station 22 floor I have two rooms and big enough living room. I have no problem with pets on the couch. I make sure the apartment is always clean, organized and safe for the pets.

About: I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m very intuitive with animals—I quickly pick up on their needs, moods, and personalities. I’ve cared for both playful puppies and sweet seniors, always adapting to their pace and comfort. I also bring calm energy, lots of love, and a silly sense of humor that pets seem to love! It fits perfectly into my schedule on a daily basis. It can be a great side job for me that I will highly enjoy, since I love interacting with animals. I play with them. I feed them well. Also, I take them to the park to play and remain active as well as interact with them.
“Kingston is a life saver and my new right hand man when it comes to help with my dog! He’s always EXTREAMELY accommodating and flexible with scheduling. I’m very grateful to have found Kingston and will be using him as long as possible.”

About: Hi, I’m Cynthia, a Master’s student originally from the Midwest. I spent two months pet sitting in the D.C. area in May 2023 and that was the start of an incredible journey. Since then I have cared for everything from cats to dogs to birds. I’ve even once cared for a colleague’s hedgehog! In March, I settled in Miami while I pursue my degree because I love the weather here. Anywho, I’d love to spend some time taking care of your furry friends. I’m open to short or long term sits or walks! I currently work from home part-time and am a very part-time student. I have plenty of time to care for your furry family members while you are away. I do not care for pets in my home at this time. It is more convenient for me to sit at the owner's place of residence.

About: As a pet care provider with one year of experience, I have gained a solid understanding of what it takes to keep furry friends healthy and happy. In my previous role, I provided daily care for dogs and cats, including feeding, walking, playing, administering medications, and providing companionship. I have a deep love for animals, and I always make sure to treat each pet with the care and attention they deserve. I understand that each animal has their own unique personality and needs, and I take the time to get to know each one individually to provide personalized care. I am comfortable handling pets of all sizes and temperaments, and I prioritize their safety at all times. I also have experience working with pet owners to ensure that their pets receive the care they need and that their expectations are met. In addition to my pet care skills, I am reliable, responsible, and trustworthy. I understand that pet owners put a great deal of trust in their pet care providers, and I take this responsibility seriously. With my experience and passion for animals, I am confident in my ability to provide exceptional pet care services. I am currently working full time but I have work from home days on Friday, as well as, free time after work and on weekends. As a pet care provider who takes care of pets at their owners' homes, I understand how important it is to provide high-quality and personalized care to each pet. Here's how I typically care for people's pets at their homes: Initial Consultation: Before starting the pet care services, I schedule an initial consultation with the pet owner to understand the pet's routine, habits, and preferences. I ask questions to get a better understanding of their pet's personality, likes, dislikes, and health status to provide tailored care. Feeding and Watering: I follow the pet owner's feeding and watering instructions and ensure that their pets have fresh water and food at all times. If the pet has any specific dietary needs or restrictions, I make sure to adhere to them. Exercise and Playtime: I provide exercise and playtime as per the pet owner's instructions. I take the pets for walks or play with them in the yard, depending on the pet's needs and preferences. I also ensure that the pets get enough physical activity and stimulation to keep them healthy and happy. Medication: If the pet requires medication, I make sure to follow the instructions provided by the pet owner. I administer the medication at the prescribed times and monitor the pet's condition to ensure that they are responding well to the medication. Clean-up and Maintenance: I clean up any messes that the pet may have made, such as spills, accidents, or litter boxes. I also make sure to keep the pet's area clean and tidy and dispose of any waste appropriately. Communication: Throughout the pet care services, I keep the pet owner informed about their pet's well-being and provide updates regularly. I also communicate with the pet owner to let them know if any issues arise. In summary, I take the responsibility of pet care seriously and provide personalized care to each pet at their home. My goal is to make sure that the pets are happy, healthy, and safe in their own environment.

Kendal is great!!! Very thorough, aware, and knowledgeable. She asked me questions I didn’t even know I should be thinking about. Excellent work, super professional and such a sweet heart! Definitely a solid caretaker and kind spirit for any little loved ones….. thank you Kendal!

Marcus is AMAZING with my golden doodle Bisou! 🐶 I can always rely on him to come on-time and give her a long walk. She gets so excited when he comes to the door! He is kind-hearted, respectful, and helpful. So grateful to have reliable dog-walking here in South Beach! 🤗 He also used to work at Farmers Dog so I can trust him to feed my fur-baby the correct way. 🙌

Visia was absolutely amazing ! She was punctual , attentive, and extremely sweet ! She played with our furry babies , walked them and snuggled them . They seemed to be so comfortable with her which was so important for us. We are glad we found a sitter we can trust when we are away ! Definitely booking again !!!

Adam is great with Wally. He helps to keep him fit with his walk/run sessions and often gives him extra walk time if he's not busy that day. He's flexible with his availability and always turns up with a big smile on his face. I think he enjoys his time with Wally.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
