About: Former St. Bernard owner here that loves all dogs big and small. I wfh and have pet sat dogs all over the world. When you book me you can feel at ease knowing your dog is properly cared for. Before confirming booking I like to do meet and greets. This is to ensure both your 4 legged friend and I get along. Also I am allergic to cats so I can only accept bookings from folks without cats. I’m currently working from home so I have the perfect schedule to dog sit all day or take your dog for morning, afternoon, or evening walks. I will follow any instructions left by you on how to properly care for your dog. I want this to be a pleasant and seamless experience for both you and your dog.
“Elisha did a fantastic job. We were traveling in our camper. She had to make complex arrangements, coordinating with the RV park office to pick up and drop off the key. She handled it all without any complaints like a true professional. If you are ever traveling in the Ft. Lauderdale area (or live there) and need a reliable dog walker, please book Elisha.”

“Tiffany continues to be outstanding with care for my dog Stormy. She consistently shows up, often adjusting for last minute requests and overall phenomenal service. We are new to town and adjusting to new routine. The transition period means very long hours at work and away from the dog and she has made this entire process incredibly less stressful for both the dog and I. Thank you!!! 🙏”

About: I understand that trusting someone with your dog is a big decision, and I truly appreciate that trust. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to provide a safe, loving, and caring environment. I will always keep your dog happy, well-fed, exercised, and on their normal routine. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or following special care instructions, I will make sure your dog’s needs always come first. I will treat your pet like one of my own and do everything I can to make them feel comfortable, loved, and secure while you’re away. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your furry family member is in caring and reliable hands. I don’t usually have a busy schedule, so I’m often available to care for your furry friend. If possible, I kindly ask that you book at least three days in advance. This helps me plan my schedule and ensures I can give your pet the time, attention, and care they deserve. I look forward to meeting you and your dog! Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I carefully follow each pet’s regular routine, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special care instructions. I make sure they always have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a clean, safe environment. I also provide lots of affection, exercise, and mental stimulation based on each pet’s personality and energy level. My goal is to make your pet feel at home and give you peace of mind knowing they are being treated like family.

“If you can’t tell by all of my reviews, I cannot recommend Jacqueline enough! She walks my pups pretty regularly, is so patient & is a person who truly loves dogs. I’ve always been nervous with walkers, but I feel completely at ease knowing she’s caring for them. Thank you Jacqueline!!”

About: Hi! I truly LOVE being around animals. I feel a deep connection with them, especially dogs and cats, and I’m very intuitive to their needs and emotions. I was raised surrounded by animals, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my life. Our family dog, Sabana, a boxer, gave us years of love, and that bond shaped how I care for every pet. I live in Buena Vista in a spacious, bright home where dogs can move freely. I also have a large, fully fenced yard with trees and grass, completely safe for play and relaxation. I work mostly from home, so your pet will have constant attention, love, and care. You can trust me to treat your furry friend as my own 🐾
“GREAT GUY AND VERY ACCOMMODATING. HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO GO CARE FOR THE DOGS AFTER A VERY TRYING DAY OF DELAYED AND CANCELED FLIGHTS. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! 5 STARS +”

About: I’ve always had dogs growing up, so I’ve grown a huge love for them and being around them. My friends and friends-of-friends usually call me to pet sit, and they’re always happy with how well I take care of their pets. They don’t have any worries while they’re out because i’ll give them constant updates. I am currently in school monday through thursday in the morning but it is online and the semester is almost over. So im available all day to watch your furbabies. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, and playtime. I think it’s very important to follow their schedule and what they’re used to. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Giving them a lot of attention and playing with them can help them feel less confused or lost.
About: Hi there! 😸 I’ve been caring for animals in both professional and personal settings for years, and I’m excited to be offering pet sitting again. My background includes working as a veterinary technician, where I gained hands-on experience with animal health, medications, and handling pets with special needs. After that, I spent several years as a zookeeper, caring for everything from giraffes, rhinos, zebras to smaller hoofstock. It gave me a deep appreciation for animal behavior, patience, and safety. At home, I share my life with cats, reptiles, and fish, so I understand the unique care that different species need. I also used to pet sit regularly, and now that I’ve stepped away from full-time zookeeping I have full availability once again. Whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, or extra attention for senior pets. I bring reliability, calm energy, and a trained eye to every animal in my care. Your pets will be treated like family, and you can relax knowing they’re with someone who’s comfortable with animals of all sizes, temperaments, and routines. 🦒🦏🦓🐈⬛🐕🦜🐢🐟 I care for my own cats, reptiles, and fish daily, so animal care is already part of my routine. With open availability now, I can easily fit in walks, visits, or overnights whenever needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their usual routine so they feel safe and comfortable. That includes sticking to feeding schedules, giving walks or playtime, keeping litter boxes or habitats clean, and making sure they get plenty of attention. With my background as a veterinary technician and former zookeeper, I’m also experienced in giving medications, monitoring behavior, and noticing subtle changes in health or stress. Every visit is about making sure pets are happy and cared for just as they would be by their family.

About: I’ve trained dogs as a teenager for disabled veterans. I also understand dog behavior and respect any owners preference needed to fulfill dog and owner happiness! I have open availability from morning through night. I am also proactive with fitness, I enjoy nature and long walks and love friendly dog company! I will shower your pet with lots of love! Lots of hugs, pets, and friendly praises. I will also sure they’re happy by doing fun and active activities. Whilst also caring about their nourishment by monitoring external environment temperatures, observing their diet by assuring they eat what they’re allowed and making sure they don’t consume anything harmful.
“I am beyond impressed with Hendrich. He is incredibly reliable, punctual, and my dog Cooper loves his walks with him. His professionalism and genuine care for my dog is evident in everything he does. I highly recommend Hendrich to anyone looking for a top-notch dog walker. The updates and photos are a great touch. Again, highly recommended!!”

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. As I child, every birthday and Christmas wish was always the same: a dog or a cat of my own. Since that wasn't possible at the time, I spent my childhood caring for and rescuing animals whenever I could --including dogs, cats, swans, pigeons, porcupines, wolf, piglets and many others in need of help. Animals have always been a huge source of inspiration, peace, comfort and joy in my life. I grew up drawing dogs, writing children's stories about animals, and naturally connecting with them wherever I went. And somehow, that feeling has always seemed mutual. Dogs and cats often approach and choose me even in a crowd, and if you ever meet me on the street, don't be surprise, I'll say hello to your pet, before I say hello to you. Pet care naturally fits very well into my daily routine because I use to work on my schedule and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and creating a calm, loving environment around them. I also hold a Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid certification, which allows me to care for pets with extra attention, responsibility, and preparedness. My work flexibility allows me to dedicate real attention, affection, playtime, walks, and supervision throughout the day, not just quickly check-ins. I've always had a deep love and respect for animals of all of kinds: dogs, cats, fish and even parrots! I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality, energy, and emotional needs, so they can feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable while their owners are away. And YES, if they need to sleep/rest very close to a human, I will be very happy to be that human! Whether it's a walk, daycare, boarding, or drop-in visit, I will do always with patience, attentiveness, and genuine care. I'm also comfortable caring for senior pets and following complex medication or care routines with great attention and responsibility. I'm also fully comfortable working in video-monitored environments for additional peace of mind and transparency. I understand how important communication and trust are, especially with this beautiful souls, so I'm always happy to provide regular updates, video and photos, throughout the experience. I live in a comfortable apartment with my husband and no kids around or other pet, with a shaded balcony that has been fully pet-proofed for safety. My furry friends are welcome to choose whether they’d like to spend some time outdoors or simply relax inside, always in a safe and supervised environment. The area where I live is very quiet and dog friendly, with little traffic and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Just a short walk away, there are two wonderful areas for daily walks and outdoor time: a beautiful waterfront path where pets can enjoy fresh ocean air and peaceful sunset walks, as well as a fully equipped dog park with separate areas based on dog size -perfect for safe play, exercise, and maintaining healthy socialization. I always strive to create a calm, clean, loving and emotionally safe environment where pets can fell relaxed, comfortable, and cared for while away from their owners.

As always Pam goes above and beyond! I was stuck at work and Pam was swift to take my dog for a walk. She sent tons of updates and she’s always super flexible and accommodating. I don’t trust anyone else with my 16 year old poodle, Pam is the best, she’s so responsible and Bu loves her! Thank you Pam!!!
Great experience! August had a 30-minute walk and came back happy, relaxed, and well exercised. Communication was excellent, and it was clear he was cared for with attention and kindness. I appreciated the reliability, professionalism, and genuine love for animals. It gives me peace of mind knowing August is in such good hands. Highly recommend and will definitely book again! 🐾🐕

Viktoriia has been absolutely phenomenal with my dog. She goes far above and beyond what I would expect from a standard dog walk. She takes the time to really care for him, make sure he gets great exercise, and has even helped him become more comfortable and socialized around other dogs, including her own dog. Her communication is excellent! She keeps me updated, is reliable, thoughtful, and clearly treats my dog like he matters. I can tell she genuinely cares and puts real effort into making each visit a positive experience. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he is in such good hands. I could not recommend Viktoriia more highly. She is kind, responsible, attentive, and truly exceptional at what she does.

Scott loves my dog and my dog loves Scott. He takes the time to write really thoughtful entertaining descriptions about their walk and he takes even better photos. He could be an author, a photographer and an animal expert. I feel good leaving for work knowing that my dog is going to hang with Scott for a bit. He’s the best in the biz.

Natalia is my go-to dog walker in Miami (Downtown/Edgewater/Wynwood). She’s so flexible with her schedule, she can either come pick my baby, April Maria up or I can drop her off at her house. She’s super loving. Very quickly she endeared herself to April and April ran over 2 miles with her. I don’t trust my pup to just anyone, but I’m fully confident in Natalia‘s abilities and her love for all animals. I will definitely be booking her again. I know April loves her already.

Cait took such great care of my dog, Zelda. I had long work hours and I felt relieved knowing Zelda was getting great mental and physical exercise with Cait! She provided thoughtful updates and checked in on any additional needs for my pup. I can't thank her enough!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
