“Audrey was super accommodating for my late notice booking and she was very patient/ communicative with my anxious girl. My building staff saw my dog around with Audrey, and they told me she looked so happy and comfortable 🙂”

“I truly cannot say enough amazing things about our dog walker! She has been absolutely incredible with our dogs from day one. They absolutely LOVE her and get so excited every time they see her, which says everything. She goes so far beyond simply walking them-she has helped train them, reinforce good behaviors, and has genuinely made such a difference with them. She is incredibly reliable, trustworthy, patient, and one of the sweetest people. I never have to worry when my dogs are with her because I know they are being loved, cared for, and treated like they are her own. Finding someone you completely trust with your dogs is such a big deal, and we feel so lucky to have found her. She has become such an important part of their lives, and I would recommend her a million times over to anyone looking for someone dependable, caring, and truly amazing with dogs! ❤️🐾”

“Kelly was amazing! She was reliable, caring, and kept me updated throughout the walk. Communication was excellent, with updates that gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and caring dog walker. I’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Ebanehita was so friendly, kind, and professional! Bella felt really comfortable with her, which gave me peace of mind. I’d happily book her again and highly recommend her!”

“Ani'yah did an excellent job walking my dog. As soon as i opened the door she welcomed me with a big smile was so kind to bring chocolates. She was very calm and polite throughout the walk. I recommend her 100%”
“I cannot recommend Dominga enough as a dog walker! She went above and beyond during her time with my dog, Tali. Not only did she walk Tali longer than scheduled, but she also took her to various parks that I absolutely loved. Tali always comes home happy and tired from all the fun and playing. It's clear that she enjoys her time with Dominga, and I feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful dog walker for my baby Tali. I will continue with Dominga for dog sitting and walker. 🐕🦺 --- Feel free to adjust any part of it to better match your thoughts!”

“Highly recommend Jonathan!! He came to the rescue when I had an emergency and needed a dog walker on short notice. He’s very professional and kept good communication. I’m so thankful for Jonathan. Looking forward to booking him again.”

“Jacqueline is amazing!! My dogs are obsessed with her & she caters to their individual needs and very unique personalities. I completely trust her & her judgement with them - she’s great at communicating, a total sweetheart & also writes adorable report cards :)”

About: I’ve always been a helping hand when it comes to caring for pets, and family and friends have trusted me to watch their dogs whenever they needed someone reliable. I’m dependable, communicative, and adapt well to different pets and environments even snakes! Joining Rover felt like the perfect opportunity to provide that same level of care to pet owners outside of my own circle. I’m currently working part-time, so I have flexibility in my schedule to give your pets plenty of attention and care. I’m available for pet sitting and boarding on weekends, as well as weekdays before 4 p.m. My schedule may adjust once school starts, but I’ll always make sure to communicate my availability clearly. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routines and any instructions they provide. I make sure pets are fed, have access to water, get plenty of attention and playtime, and are taken outside or given opportunities to use the restroom as needed. I’m very attentive to their needs and will communicate with the owner if anything seems unusual or if they need anything extra.
About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always been one of the primary caregivers for the pets in my family. I had a sweet, social golden doodle of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your dog. I provide attentive, loving care and treat every dog like they’re part of the family. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding schedules, playtime, potty breaks, basic routines, and giving your pup plenty of attention and affection. I also understand that every dog has their own personality, energy level, and routine, and I’m happy to follow your specific care instructions. Whether you need dog sitting, boarding, drop-in visits, or walks, my goal is to make sure your pup feels safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away — and give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. My schedule is very open. I typically work from home, however sometimes I am in the field. I make my own schedule, so typically have a lot of free time. I live in a very safe and secure neighborhood. There are a ton of pets and lots of space to walk around. There’s a dog park not too far away from me as well.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
