About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for family and friends for many years. I love being with animals and will do everything I can to make them comfortable and happy. I’m available for pet boarding daily all weekdays and weekends whenever I’m not at school. I’ll be sure to provide the best care that I can! I have a fenced yard and I live nearby the park so I can exercise and walk your dog however much they need. I also provide care for indoor cats and will keep them safe in my room until they’re confident that they can walk around. I give lots of treats, make sure all of their facilities are clean, and feed them as directed by the owner.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for years and have owned six of my own—ranging from tiny Shih Tzus to high-energy Belgian Malinois. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from playful puppies to senior dogs up to 17 years old, including those with mobility issues. I understand that every dog has unique needs, and I’m confident in my ability to provide the care, patience, and attention they deserve. I’m a bartender at night, which means I get to spend my days doing what I love most—hanging out with my puppies! I’m all about giving them attention, playtime, and care around the clock. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or at a client’s, I treat every animal like my own. I stick to their routines, make sure they feel safe and comfortable, and give them plenty of attention, playtime, and love. I’m big on communication, so I’ll always keep you updated with pics and how your pet is doing. Clean, cozy, and stress-free is the goal every time!
About: (unfortunately due to my other job I am only available Saturday and Sunday -Fridays after 4pm) Hi my name is Kimberly and I'm passionate about providing exceptional care for your furry friends. With a background as a beginner pet trainer and experience working in dog daycares, I've had the joy of interacting with dogs of all breeds and temperaments. From teaching basic obedience skills to managing group play sessions, I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and safety when it comes to caring for pets. I'm dedicated to ensuring every pet in my care feels loved, happy, and well-cared for. I look forward to the opportunity of meeting your beloved companion and provide them with the care and attention they deserve. I make time for pet care by setting aside specific slots in my schedule. This could involve feeding, grooming, walks, and playtime, ensuring their needs are met consistently. In my home, I prioritize creating a pet-friendly environment with proper food, water, toys, and a comfortable resting area. When caring for pets in clients' homes, I follow their instructions diligently, ensuring the pet's routine and needs are met with care and attention.
About: I've been caring for dogs for some time now. My own personal four dogs, also worked with groups in large dog daycare for 5 years. Pet care is the main part of my daily life because I literally live for my dogs and work with others dogs. It's twenty-four hours In my home I like to spend time outside in my garden with my guys. I have a fenced in area that they can use to play or hangout. I like taking long walks, usually I'm up early to get them out before it's too hot. Two long walks, one in the early morning and the other in the evening, unless it's cool weather then there's another walk during the day. Just keep them stimulated and busy ,that keeps them safe. I like to let them get to know me and see that they're safe, sometimes that means I give them space until they approach me. Just play and show them love.
About: Hi there! 😸 I’ve been caring for animals in both professional and personal settings for years, and I’m excited to be offering pet sitting again. My background includes working as a veterinary technician, where I gained hands-on experience with animal health, medications, and handling pets with special needs. After that, I spent several years as a zookeeper, caring for everything from giraffes, rhinos, zebras to smaller hoofstock. It gave me a deep appreciation for animal behavior, patience, and safety. At home, I share my life with cats, reptiles, and fish, so I understand the unique care that different species need. I also used to pet sit regularly, and now that I’ve stepped away from full-time zookeeping I have full availability once again. Whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, or extra attention for senior pets. I bring reliability, calm energy, and a trained eye to every animal in my care. Your pets will be treated like family, and you can relax knowing they’re with someone who’s comfortable with animals of all sizes, temperaments, and routines. 🦒🦏🦓🐈⬛🐕🦜🐢🐟 I care for my own cats, reptiles, and fish daily, so animal care is already part of my routine. With open availability now, I can easily fit in walks, visits, or overnights whenever needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow their usual routine so they feel safe and comfortable. That includes sticking to feeding schedules, giving walks or playtime, keeping litter boxes or habitats clean, and making sure they get plenty of attention. With my background as a veterinary technician and former zookeeper, I’m also experienced in giving medications, monitoring behavior, and noticing subtle changes in health or stress. Every visit is about making sure pets are happy and cared for just as they would be by their family.

“Scott handled Maité professionally and amazingly 🫶🏻she was so happy after every walk. He understood every special needs we asked as we were out of town and he was patient we all of us 🫣”

“Jose was very sweet to my two dogs, he was attentive sent lots of videos and made sure they were each catered to. He was also very fond of my cats and they seemed to get along while he was there which was a rare feat. Overall the boys loved having Jose around. Definitely recommend!”

About: I grew up with a dog and 2 cats at home, so I have experience with both. Additionally, my parents directed most of the feeding and walking responsibility of having a dog to me from a very young age. Thus, I became the go-to sitter for my neighbors and family members! I would baby sit dogs, cats, and younger cousins. I still babysit my partner and my roommate’s pets whenever they need it , and I am very lenient with schedule and pricing. I am not working at all besides this! My job is school and hanging out with fur babies! I am only in school for two hours a day for three days of the week. Most of my classes are online therefore my schedule is very flexible. Everyone in my apartment loves animals so having them roam free will never be a problem! I am against keeping your pet/s in cages, and I can guarantee they’ll be surrounded with love constantly. Additionally in my apartment complex, there are many dog parks and walking trails that I’m sure your pet will love! My apartment also has a good view if your pet likes to sit by windows and watch people pass by!

About: I have been around dogs and cats all my life. From small breeds to large breeds of dogs and a multitude of different cats. My aunt and cousin have over 7 cats and dogs each, all of which have different attitudes and personalities that I had to learn to cater to. I am a very caring and nurturing individual and I genuinely believe animals can sense that about me. I look forward to meeting your pet and giving them the care they deserve. I recently got let go by my job and am actively looking for work, so I am flexible with hours of care for your pet. If your pet is placed with me, I have enough room in my bedroom for them to play around in. My place is small hence why I would prefer medium to small breeds just so they have adequate space. I love big dogs as well. In the clients home I will respect their boundaries and rules of the house while still providing exceptional care.
About: Hi! My name is Sabrina and I’m a certified dog trainer with over 10 years of experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I was born in Argentina, where I served as a police officer for 10 years, including several years working in the K-9 division, handling and training service dogs professionally. Two years ago, I moved to the United States to follow my passion for working with animals in a more personal, heart-centered way. Since then, I've been walking dogs full-time and also completed a certified course in pet grooming and pet first aid here in the U.S. I currently live in North Miami Beach with my beloved rescue dog, Shiny — she’s my shadow and daily inspiration. I truly care for each dog as if they were mine: with structure, patience, affection, and respect for their unique personality. I believe that dogs thrive when they feel safe, loved, and understood, and that’s exactly what I offer in every walk. Whether your dog is playful, shy, reactive, or needs special attention, I’ll meet them where they are and make sure they have a safe and happy experience. Looking forward to meeting your pup and making tails wag with joy! Taking care of dogs is not just part of my routine—it is my routine. I do this full-time, with all my heart. I’m always available for boarding, and I love giving pups a home-style experience full of love, calm, and tail wags. 🐾💫 At my home, dogs have access to a secure fenced yard where they can play safely and enjoy the fresh air. I also have a friendly dog who can be a great companion, but I always adapt to each pup’s social needs—some love company, and others need their own space, and that’s totally okay. Whether I’m caring for your dog at my place or yours, I stick to their usual routines as much as possible—walks, feeding times, cuddles, and even quiet time. My goal is to make them feel safe, relaxed, and at home, wherever they are. 🐶🌿💛

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
