About: I grew up with five dogs, and have had at least one since. I've dogsat for neighbors countless times, and have enjoyed every second with their furry friends. Not counting my high school/childhood years, I've been dogsitting for 5 years. I currently work part-time and as a theater artist. I have the most time on Monday - Wednesday (full availability) with more limited time on Thurs - Sun. Most Thurs/Fri I'm available until about 4 pm. Same for weekends, unless I end up working a matinee. I always have morning availability. When coming into a client's home, the first thing I'm doing is working on gaining your pet's trust. I understand it can be scary having a stranger walk into your safe space! I speak gently, get on their level (if safe to do so) and overall just work on showing them that I'm there to have a good time with them.
“Michelle is super reliable and amazing. So glad that I found her. She came to my house early and took care of my babies perfectly. I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter. Thank you so much Michelle looking forward to working with you more!!”

“Anthony has been Great for Zeus ! I work crazy Hours and he has been a great buddy for Zeus and very reliable at all times that I’ve needed the help! I’m so glad Zeus and I found Anthony 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“Highly recommend Jonathan!! He came to the rescue when I had an emergency and needed a dog walker on short notice. He’s very professional and kept good communication. I’m so thankful for Jonathan. Looking forward to booking him again.”

“Audrey was super accommodating for my late notice booking and she was very patient/ communicative with my anxious girl. My building staff saw my dog around with Audrey, and they told me she looked so happy and comfortable 🙂”

“So far Dayana is the most communicative dog walker I know on this app. I can tell she truly cares for my dog by letting me know important details from the walk to how she talks to my dog in a positive/encouraging way. I appreciate her for her reliability and thoughtful communication so much!”

“I cannot recommend Dominga enough as a dog walker! She went above and beyond during her time with my dog, Tali. Not only did she walk Tali longer than scheduled, but she also took her to various parks that I absolutely loved. Tali always comes home happy and tired from all the fun and playing. It's clear that she enjoys her time with Dominga, and I feel so fortunate to have found such a wonderful dog walker for my baby Tali. I will continue with Dominga for dog sitting and walker. 🐕🦺 --- Feel free to adjust any part of it to better match your thoughts!”

“Jacqueline is the best - I’ve already rebooked her & she’s the only person I trust to walk/care for my dogs. Her report cards are the BEST & she genuinely understands my dogs and their personalities which makes me so happy. Also super responsive & flexible!!”

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life, and have taken care of my friends pets when they were out of town. I want to make sure they are well taken care of and give them everything they need. I currently go to school and have a part-time job and would love to take care of pets and fit them into my schedule. I would make all the time in the world for them. I make sure they are well fed and hydrated. Scoop out the litter box after every use. I play with them when they’re hyper and let them get rest when it’s needed. I make sure they trust me by warming up to them.
About: I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and energy levels. I enjoy taking long walks, playing interactive games, and keeping pets mentally and physically stimulated. I’m comfortable maintaining feeding schedules, giving basic grooming, and providing lots of love and attention to ensure every pup feels safe and happy. I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. I live in a gated community and have a detached house with a private garden, providing a safe and open space for dogs to play, relax, and enjoy fresh air. I prioritize safety, comfort, and happiness in every step of pet care. At my home, dogs stay in a calm, secure, and supervised environment. I make sure gates and doors are always secured, and I never leave dogs unsupervised during outdoor time.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. As I child, every birthday and Christmas wish was always the same: a dog or a cat of my own. Since that wasn't possible at the time, I spent my childhood caring for and rescuing animals whenever I could --including dogs, cats, swans, pigeons, porcupines, wolf, piglets and many others in need of help. Animals have always been a huge source of inspiration, peace, comfort and joy in my life. I grew up drawing dogs, writing children's stories about animals, and naturally connecting with them wherever I went. And somehow, that feeling has always seemed mutual. Dogs and cats often approach and choose me even in a crowd, and if you ever meet me on the street, don't be surprise, I'll say hello to your pet, before I say hello to you. Pet care naturally fits very well into my daily routine because I use to work on my schedule and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and creating a calm, loving environment around them. I also hold a Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid certification, which allows me to care for pets with extra attention, responsibility, and preparedness. My work flexibility allows me to dedicate real attention, affection, playtime, walks, and supervision throughout the day, not just quickly check-ins. I've always had a deep love and respect for animals of all of kinds: dogs, cats, fish and even parrots! I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality, energy, and emotional needs, so they can feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable while their owners are away. And YES, if they need to sleep/rest very close to a human, I will be very happy to be that human! Whether it's a walk, daycare, boarding, or drop-in visit, I will do always with patience, attentiveness, and genuine care. I'm also comfortable caring for senior pets and following complex medication or care routines with great attention and responsibility. I'm also fully comfortable working in video-monitored environments for additional peace of mind and transparency. I understand how important communication and trust are, especially with this beautiful souls, so I'm always happy to provide regular updates, video and photos, throughout the experience. I live in a comfortable apartment with my husband and no kids around or other pet, with a shaded balcony that has been fully pet-proofed for safety. My furry friends are welcome to choose whether they’d like to spend some time outdoors or simply relax inside, always in a safe and supervised environment. The area where I live is very quiet and dog friendly, with little traffic and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Just a short walk away, there are two wonderful areas for daily walks and outdoor time: a beautiful waterfront path where pets can enjoy fresh ocean air and peaceful sunset walks, as well as a fully equipped dog park with separate areas based on dog size -perfect for safe play, exercise, and maintaining healthy socialization. I always strive to create a calm, clean, loving and emotionally safe environment where pets can fell relaxed, comfortable, and cared for while away from their owners.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, I now have 2 cats. I’ve done puppy and senior dog care. I’m experienced with cat care, litter boxes and medications, nail clippings and more. Pet sitting will be my full source of income, and something I enjoy and will have an open schedule for. Available weekdays and weekends. On weekends preferably morning to early afternoon. My dogs always had a fenced yard, but I moved into an apartment so they went on multiple walks a day due to not having a yard. Fed twice a day, walks throughout the entire day. I’m experienced with giving dogs medicine and shots due to one of mine having diabetes. I am very experienced with puppies I’ve had three. Adaptable to anything that a pet owner requests for their dogs care. I currently own 2 cats, one is 6 the other is 2. One male one female, my female is a rescue so I’m experienced with more timid/shy cats. I know cleaning litter schedules, importance of dry/wet food diets.
“Adriana was amazing with my furry babies! She has the natural talent with dogs! I will definitely call her again to walk my dogs! She has a wonderful energy with animals!”

About: I’ve been a cat lover and caretaker since I was 10 years old, and I’ve done lots of cat sitting over the years. I’m great with feeding routines, litter, playtime, and giving pets the love they deserve. I also have experience dog walking and dog sitting! I recently graduated college and currently work part-time, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets lots of attention and care. I’m available for house sitting during weekdays and can easily fit feeding, playtime, walks, and check-ins into my daily routine. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. I closely follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, cleaning, medications (if needed), and daily routines. I make sure pets have fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of attention and playtime, while also respecting their space if they’re shy or anxious. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
