Pet care naturally fits very well into my daily routine because I use to work on my schedule and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and creating a calm, loving environment around them. I also hold a Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid certification, which allows me to care for pets with extra attention, responsibility, and preparedness. My work flexibility allows me to dedicate real attention, affection, playtime, walks, and supervision throughout the day, not just quickly check-ins. I've always had a deep love and respect for animals of all of kinds: dogs, cats, fish and even parrots! I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality, energy, and emotional needs, so they can feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable while their owners are away. And YES, if they need to sleep/rest very close to a human, I will be very happy to be that human! Whether it's a walk, daycare, boarding, or drop-in visit, I will do always with patience, attentiveness, and genuine care. I'm also comfortable caring for senior pets and following complex medication or care routines with great attention and responsibility. I'm also fully comfortable working in video-monitored environments for additional peace of mind and transparency. I understand how important communication and trust are, especially with this beautiful souls, so I'm always happy to provide regular updates, video and photos, throughout the experience.

I live in a comfortable apartment with my husband and no kids around or other pet, with a shaded balcony that has been fully pet-proofed for safety. My furry friends are welcome to choose whether they’d like to spend some time outdoors or simply relax inside, always in a safe and supervised environment. The area where I live is very quiet and dog friendly, with little traffic and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Just a short walk away, there are two wonderful areas for daily walks and outdoor time: a beautiful waterfront path where pets can enjoy fresh ocean air and peaceful sunset walks, as well as a fully equipped dog park with separate areas based on dog size -perfect for safe play, exercise, and maintaining healthy socialization. I always strive to create a calm, clean, loving and emotionally safe environment where pets can fell relaxed, comfortable, and cared for while away from their owners.

Building trust and understanding each pet’s individual needs is very important to me. Before a stay, I appreciate learning about your pet’s routine, personality, preferences, medical conditions, medications, fears, favorite activities, and any behaviors that may require special attention. I am comfortable caring for puppies, senior pets, and animals with special needs. Whenever possible, I prefer bookings to be arranged a little in advance so we can meet beforehand. Spending time with both pets and their families helps me better understand expectations, observe important details, and provide personalized care tailored to each animal’s well-being. Please also let me know if your pet experiences separation anxiety, has specific triggers, requires medication, follows a special diet, or has any habits that would help me make their stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Every pet is different, so I adapt the day to their personality, age, and needs. We’ll enjoy walks, sniffing adventures, playtime, cuddles, and quiet moments to relax. I love providing both physical exercise and mental enrichment, and whenever possible I even create customized games and activities designed specifically for the pets in my care. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, stimulated, and understood, as if they were spending the day with a trusted family member rather than simply a sitter.

I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. As I child, every birthday and Christmas wish was always the same: a dog or a cat of my own. Since that wasn't possible at the time, I spent my childhood caring for and rescuing animals whenever I could --including dogs, cats, swans, pigeons, porcupines, wolf, piglets and many others in need of help. Animals have always been a huge source of inspiration, peace, comfort and joy in my life. I grew up drawing dogs, writing children's stories about animals, and naturally connecting with them wherever I went. And somehow, that feeling has always seemed mutual. Dogs and cats often approach and choose me even in a crowd, and if you ever meet me on the street, don't be surprise, I'll say hello to your pet, before I say hello to you.

Finding someone you can truly trust with an older dog is not easy, especially when you spend long hours away from home. I tried Marianna because of her experience with animals and her certification in Canine and Feline CPR & First Aid, which gave me extra peace of mind. My little dog is 11 years old and has specific routines and needs. Marianna walks her in the neighborhood she knows and loves, helps with medications when needed, and makes sure she is comfortable during mealtimes. What stands out most is the genuine care she shows. More than once, neighbors have told me how sweetly she talks to my dog during walks and how she keeps her engaged with small obedience exercises and games. I wanted to put a few words out about how surprised and happy I am with the way Marianna takes care of Juno, my 2-year old Malinois. I work a lot of long hours and it's a big relief to know that I have a pet sitter I can really trust to take great care of my girl. Marianna has an uncanny way with all kinds of animals, but especially with dogs. Juno is a high-energy dog that needs both physical and mental stimulation. And Marianna provides that, and then some. She has a calming routine she does, every time she comes to pick-up Juno and then takes her out to play and expend her excess energy, before starting the mental stimulation part of the walk with specific games to maintain her obedience and recall as well as just keep her interested and focused. Juno has really bonded with Marianna and this gives me a great deal of confidence. You can tell by how your dog acts around someone, what sort of energy they have. Marianna's is pure. I had to leave on a week's trip a few months ago, before Marianna joined Rover, and I had no issue leaving my keys, so Juno could stay in a familiar environment. Now that Marianna is on Rover, I know she will be in strong demand, because it is so rare to see this kind of positive interaction and attention to detail. You really get what you pay for. Marianna has been a sound investment that pays dividends every day. Highest possible recommendation!
