“Nancy really saved me and my roommate when I was traveling and he was in the ED unexpectedly! Nancy was very easily able to get in and walk our dogs and needed nothing from me to support after I gave her the info. She is a prompt replier and I really appreciate her!”

About: I did not grow up with any pets, but began enjoying pet fatherhood when I met my girlfriend’a dog three years ago. She is a high energy dog that forced me to learn how to discipline and maintain control with love, and how fun it is to tend to a dog’s needs — they give the love right back, but multiplied! I am currently between jobs and intentionally taking more time off before looking for full-time employment. I decided to sign up for Rover to fill some of my time with something I could enjoy, make a little bit of money while doing it, and help people out. I know how hard it can be to find a reliable dog sitter, so hoping to be able to be that for some of those that need it. It is important to me to make sure I hear and understand what the owner is worried about when leaving their dog. Every dog has a different personality, and is common that their personality shifts when their owner is away (i.e., might be depressed and need more attention, might be more inclined to counter surf, might be more at risk for peeing/pooping inside, might be more resistant toward a stranger, etc.). To me those are important and necessary details to know so that I can do my job well and ensure your dog is as happy as can be while you are away. And also, of course, so that I can earn your trust and you can be away from home with a bit more confidence and comfort. I am comfortable walking your dog, letting your dog play outside, playing with certain toys he/she may enjoy, and feeding your dog any medicine he or she may need. I am open to tending to injured dogs/applying ointments or ear drops, but would want to observe how you do it and heed your methods a bit first if possible. I know dogs can be resistant to the applying of medicines and treatments, so I would just want to take about extra care in doing that, if that is needed.
“Leonid did a great job walking my two little poodles! Though they are small, they aren't so easy to walk. He managed their opposite personalities with patience and great dog sense.”

About: Hello there! I absolutely love caring for animals. Lately, I have been going to the animal shelter & have been caring for so many adorable pups in my home! I’ve had experience taking care of my sister’s two adorable Chihuahuas. I’ve had the joy of looking after many furry friends! I also cared for my landlord’s two huskies—keeping them company, taking them on walks and park trips, playing fetch, providing food, water, and treats, and even teaching them a few fun tricks. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel loved, happy, and safe. I can’t wait to meet your cute pet! ❤️ I work from home as a speech therapist, which allows me to have a very flexible schedule! I currently don’t have a dog of my own, so I would truly love the opportunity to take care of your pet! Since I work remotely, I’m able to provide lots of attention, care, and support to ensure your furry friend feels loved and happy while you’re away. I look forward to meeting your adorable pet soon! I would love the opportunity to care for your pet. I care for the pets that I have taken care of in your home by providing support, focused attention, and plenty of love. I enjoy finding new and thoughtful ways to make sure every pet feels happy, safe, attended and cared for. I enjoy and feel the happiest by keeping you most informed and updated about your pet while you are away from your home (i.e., texting, emailing)!
About: Hi there! I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a lifelong animal lover with a soft spot for our furry family members—especially the sweet senior pets who need a little extra TLC. I am comfortable with administering medications and I offer patience and gentle care for seniors. I am detail oriented and provide pictures and updates per your request. I have time and want to fill it with providing responsible and loving care to pets while their parents are away from home. Let’s meet soon. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all of my life but did not grow up with dogs. I began fostering through the Dacshund Rescue of South Florida many years ago. I rescued my pup in April of 2011 and legally adopted her a few months later. She’s now a senior and the love of my life. I will offer the same attention, love and care to your pets that I do for my own little girl. I offer drop in visits for feedings, medication administration, snuggles, walks, etc. I am detail oriented and a clear communicator. Pictures and text updates happily provided per your request.

About: i've taken care of my family and friends pet (including a reptile) when they go on vacations. I like the dog to be part of my day, so we're going to do home office together, watch netflix and catch the sunset, unless you prefer just chill at home. I'm very caring, attentive and I'll follow your rules. I do home office. So I’m available for multiple walks and play time. Sometimes I like to go to work to a dog friendly bar, but if you prefer, we can stay home I live in a spacious apartment with my roommate who also love dogs. We have a balcony and a beach walk close to the building.
About: I have a history of daily dog walks/check-ins as well as 3-10 day overnight stays with multiple dogs. I started off dog sitting for family friends and then started getting recommended to their friends as well. I currently work remote full time during the week and am typically available for drop ins during the day. I’m also available most weekends (and into the week) for overnight stays. I typically go over to an owner’s house to check-in and walk pets but am comfortable staying during the day if the pet needs company. I’m also comfortable following a detailed routine and can give medication if needed.

About: I currently live in Miami Beach with my adult rescue cat, Donut, my rescue kitten, Milo, and my tortoise, Skipperdee! I grew up with multiple dogs, as well as bunny rabbits, fish, and hermit crabs! I have experience caring for young puppies and kittens, and well as elderly dogs and cats, including those with health issues and/or those who need medication or special treatment. In addition to my own personal pet care experiences, I’ve been pet sitting on and off for over a decade, since I was a teenager. I absolutely love animals of all kinds, and will look after your babies like they’re my own! I’m available in the mornings and afternoons/evenings during the workweek, fitting pet care in around my work schedule. On the weekends, my schedule is pretty open and flexible and I’ll have even more time to spend with your babies! I’ve used Rover multiple times as someone looking for a pet sitter, so I completely understand the stress of leaving your babies with a stranger, and will make sure to follow any pet care instructions you leave to a T! And if they come to my place, they’ll have two very sweet and friendly cats to play with!

Visia was absolutely amazing ! She was punctual , attentive, and extremely sweet ! She played with our furry babies , walked them and snuggled them . They seemed to be so comfortable with her which was so important for us. We are glad we found a sitter we can trust when we are away ! Definitely booking again !!!

Adam is great with Wally. He helps to keep him fit with his walk/run sessions and often gives him extra walk time if he's not busy that day. He's flexible with his availability and always turns up with a big smile on his face. I think he enjoys his time with Wally.
