About: Hello! 🐾 Taking care of animals never feels like a job. I’ve spent over a decade walking, caring for, and (most importantly) snuggling dozens of dogs and cats, and I truly love being around animals of all kinds. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who needs a long walk or a shy cat who wants quiet company, I meet every pet where they are with patience, attention, and lots of affection. At home, I’ve been a proud cat mom for 13 years to my two sweet tabbies, Rosita and Emilio, so I understand how much pets are family. I’ll treat yours with the same care, respect, and love, plus plenty of updates and photos so you always feel connected. Let’s make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved, even when you’re not home 🤍 I am a self-employed writer and musician working remotely and I can stay with your pet all day at home, feed them and care for them, and walk them twice or three times a day in the morning and the evening. I can walk and care for your pets in your home, play with them and give them lots of love. I cannot take care of pets in my own home at the moment.
“Amanda is warm and friendly. She was so enthusiastic about caring for my lil lady. My girl is 16 with special needs. I felt confident that my girl was in good hands.”

“Aria is the gold standard. She looked after our small tabby cat for over a week and provided great notes, changed her water daily with filtered water, monitored and changed her litter box, played with her with her favorite toys and is just an overall nice and friendly person. I highly recommend her.”

“Katherine did a great job taking care of my three cats. She did everything I asked and even sent me pictures of them. Her fee was very reasonable. I will use her to watch my cats again in the future if needed!”

“Alan H. Was wonderful with my kitties. I appreciated the feedback given after every visit. He gave my older cat her pills without problem twice a day. He responded to my messages or calls. I felt secure while away with my kitties in his hands. I recommend him highly.”

“Lisa was great! I felt very comfortable leaving my 2 cats in her care. She sent photos and updates of them at every visit. I recommend this sitter and would book her again in the future.”

“sylvie was great with my kitty and gave me peace of mind while out of town :) she was also super helpful with some unexpected changes with my trip! I will definitely be a repeat customer!”

About: With over 30 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, and small rodents, I understand that every animal has a unique personality and routine. As a devoted dog owner myself (Rocky runs my household), I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I provide attentive, dependable care with clear communication and a calm presence — so your pets feel safe and you feel at ease. With a flexible part-time schedule, I’m able to dedicate quality time to walking, playing, and maintaining your pet’s routine. I’m available for boarding seven days a week during February and March, accepting a maximum of four small animals to ensure a safe, low-stress environment. In addition, I provide reliable pet and house sitting services for owners who prefer in-home care. My home is located in a secure apartment community with a gated courtyard that provides a safe, enclosed area for supervised play. We’re also a short 15-minute walk from the beach, offering plenty of opportunity for structured walks and enrichment outings. I prioritize safety, routine, and positive experiences in every environment.
“Yoslin was excellent! She was very punctual and attentive looking after our cats. She communicated with us during each visit and shared photos and videos of them playing and enjoying treats. We would definitely hire her again in the future.”

“Nikki is great and very professional. She did a drop-in on my cats to make sure they didn’t destroy anything and give give them some food/water. I’ll for sure book service with Nikki in the future when I am next out of town.”

About: I recently lost my rescue dog, Lexi, after 9 wonderful years together! My goal is to provide reliable and trustworthy pet care for your fur babies! I had cats throughout my life as well and am open to caring for pets of all needs. I currently work from home and travel occasionally. I am flexible for walking, drop in visits and care for all age pets. I can adapt to time and needs for care. I live in a one bedroom apartment across from a park and dog park. I can walk all around Miami Beach and have plenty of dog beds, blankets and space for your fur baby to lounge and play!
“Carolane took amazing care of my cats and treated them like her own. She was reliable, attentive, and kept me updated, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. I came home to happy, calm, well-cared-for cats. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for loving and dependable pet care.”

“Would give 6 stars if we could. Could not have found anyone better than Milena. Great communication, very punctual, reliable, caring and attentive. We have 2 cats, 1 very friendly and 1 very shy. Both got along with her from the first day. She stopped by to return the keys and they came running when they heard her voice. We hope she’s available next time we travel!”

“Monique was great! She stayed one overnight with our 13 yo cockapoo and everything went great. She was a great communicator and Callie seemed super happy when I got home. Would definitely ask her to watch Callie again.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities for years, primarily for busy professionals, travelers, and families who want complete peace of mind while they’re away. While I’ve provided walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and daycare, most of my experience has been with boarding pets in my home, where I can give them consistent attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. After relocating to South Beach, I’m excited to be welcoming new furry guests into my home again! I work from home and typically host up to three pets at a time, allowing me to provide a more personalized, low-stress experience. My home has a calm, wellness-focused atmosphere, and I’m just a 2-minute walk from Flamingo Park and 5 minutes from the beach, giving dogs plenty of opportunities for exercise, fresh air, and enrichment. One thing that sets me apart is my lifestyle. I don’t drink or use drugs, so I’m naturally an early riser and maintain a healthy, consistent routine. Morning walks, regular feeding schedules, playtime, and attentive care are simply part of my everyday life. Your pet won’t be cared for by someone recovering from a late night out—they’ll be cared for by someone who genuinely enjoys healthy routines and spending time with animals. I’m experienced with puppies, senior dogs, anxious pets, and dogs that need a little extra patience and reassurance while their families are away. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, preferences, and routines so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in my care. I also provide daily photo and video updates, so you’ll always know how your furry family member is doing while you’re away. Animals tend to bond with me quickly because I genuinely love being around them. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel happy, secure, and right at home while giving you complete confidence and peace of mind! I run my own online education and coaching business from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care. I live alone in a calm, cozy South Beach apartment, so your pet will receive lots of individual attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. When I’m not working, I enjoy long walks, cooking, reading, listening to podcasts, exploring art and museums, watching great movies, and spending time outdoors. I live just minutes from Flamingo Park and the beach, making it easy to give dogs plenty of exercise, fresh air, and enrichment. I maintain a healthy lifestyle, don’t drink or use drugs, and genuinely enjoy a peaceful home environment. Pets who stay with me become part of my daily routine and are treated like family while they’re here. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only take on a small number of dogs/cats at a time to ensure everyone gets plenty of attention and care. My home is clean, calm, and free of hazards, no other pets or small children, so it’s ideal for sensitive or senior dogs. I always follow your pet’s routine closely and keep you updated with messages and photos, so you feel connected and at ease. I also never leave pets unattended and only use secure, well-fitted harnesses on walks.
About: Who hasn’t loved dogs since childhood? I sure have! From having cats, dogs, birds and turtles while growing up, to my current dog Maggie Waggie, I’ve always loved and connected to each pet. I’m attentive to their behavior, needs, and the little cues they give us when they need to say something. I’m great at grooming, trimming nails, cleaning teeth and treating small injuries and blisters. If your dog needs a spa day, from boarding to a bath, Pupper Manor is your spot! I’m also fairly descent at basic dog training, enough to make sure me and my pets have a common language to live by each day. It’s best if your dog knows the following commands: come, sit and no. If they don’t, please make sure to let me know. I give each pet I meet love and attention, and caring for pets is my favorite activity in the world! IMPORTANT: please send vaccination records with your request or add them to your pets profile as a picture. Requests or profiles without vaccination records will not be considered. Pickups are available for a fee for those in South Beach only. I’m available for boarding almost any day of the week. I’m usually home full time and the place is perfect for dogs! I can easily care for them and there’s plenty of room for them to feel completely comfortable if they need to be separated. I provide boarding for small and medium dogs. There’s different rooms, pens and spaces if they need to be separated. I’m able to provide frequent yard access. I’m able to administer most medicines and provide basic grooming if necessary. I clean the floors with Dawn dish soap, water and white vinegar only to avoid artificial fragrances and anything that may harm our pets in any way. I do not board cats or birds. For the safety of my dog, I do not board or day care bulldogs or frenchies because they tend to lunge with great strength and may cause harm.

I am able to feed your pet that follows your preferred schedule since I'm flexible! I am one block away from Flamingo Park with lots of grassy trails. My neighborhood is very calm and quiet with lots of pets around. Alan H. Was wonderful with my kitties. I appreciated the feedback given after every visit. He gave my older cat her pills without problem twice a day. He responded to my messages or calls. I felt secure while away with my kitties in his hands. I recommend him highly.

Eva was amazing with my 2 cats! She very quickly got to know them and put them at ease, shared lots of updates, was very good with communication, and followed the care instructions perfectly. (One of our cats takes meds daily) The most seamless experience on Rover we've had so far!

At 2am I downloaded Rover after realizing I never checked my cats automated feeder before I left town. I requested Fabiana for her to check on my cat that morning and she accepted my request by 7am on Xmas Eve. She was super polite and professional. I would use her again.

I highly recommend Olga as a cat sitter! She was wonderful with our 2 cats - kind, patient, and clearly understanding of feline behavior. Communication was always clear and timely, which made me feel at ease while we were away. This was the time we left our cats for 2 weeks and couldn’t be happier with Olga. She is extremely reliable, punctual, and trustworthy, and I always felt confident that our 2 cats were in the best hands. I’m so grateful for the care she provided and will definitely book with her again. If you are looking for a great, kind and trustworthy cat sitter, look no further!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Miami Beach. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
