I am a yoga teacher who majors in Psychology with a part time job of babysitting. Most of the time I’m home since I am an online student. I work out any schedule needs with my clients to make sure we are all happy and supported during animal-care. I am available for boarding during the week because I only babysit one baby for 3 days a week for 2 hours and she’s right next door to my place! During the weekend I do most of my yoga teaching and my availability isn’t as stable with family events. Nonetheless, always things are changing and I’m open to work with your schedules. Hope your little furry friend makes its way into my heart!

When I go to my client’s homes I always make sure to lock the door behind me, so that the home is safe as I care for animals. I check fenced gates to make sure no dog gets out. I always stay alert to feeding schedules and having clean water available. I rinse and wash out all bowls every time! Something my mother taught me and I always allow play time to be together and have them spend good energy. Walks are a must! Before I leave I always check that the doors remain locked!

I like to know anything that will help me care for your pet exactly the way you do. This includes their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite toys and games, and any health concerns, allergies, or medications. I also want to know how they feel about other animals, new people, and different environments so I can keep them safe and comfortable. And of course, I love to hear about their quirks—whether it’s a funny habit, a favorite nap spot, or a special command word you use—so I can make their time with me as happy and familiar as possible.
A typical day
I love making each pet’s day exciting and comforting, just like they’re at home with their favorite person. Depending on their personality and needs, we might go on scenic walks, play interactive games like fetch or tug-of-war, or have fun with puzzle toys to keep their minds active. For more relaxed pets, I’ll spend time giving gentle belly rubs, brushing, or simply sitting together in the sunshine. I tailor every activity to match your pet’s energy level, age, and favorite things—so whether it’s an energetic puppy who loves adventures or a senior cat who enjoys cozy cuddle time, they’ll get the attention and care they deserve.

I grew up with my mother who was raised in a farm and as a young child I was taught to care for all the pets in our home, just as she had learned. My experience growing up caring for cats, dogs, a rabbit, and a hedgehog all left me with an incredible love and nurturing capacity to care for any and all living beings. I have a big family and when they go on their vacations I’m always the one to stay boarding their furry babies. I have cared and loved dogs of all ages and sizes, from King Charles to German Shepards. I also have cared for all ages, from puppies to older dogs with medication schedules. I have been in three births from animals. One was my cats, I caught her right in my front porch and stayed with her the night and helped her care for her newborns. The other two where my sisters Chocolate Havanese dog that had two litters, once I went over in the middle of the night to have the support of midwifing. It literally bursts my heart with joy to be in these moments.

Lucia accepted my request in less than 24 hrs of notice. She and her family were very caring and took care of all of Phoebe's needs for the day. Phoebe found a very good friend in Peanut, Lucia's pet. She was a 5-star care giver.
