I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities for years, primarily for busy professionals, travelers, and families who want complete peace of mind while they’re away. While I’ve provided walks, drop-ins, house sitting, and daycare, most of my experience has been with boarding pets in my home, where I can give them consistent attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. After relocating to South Beach, I’m excited to be welcoming new furry guests into my home again! I work from home and typically host up to three pets at a time, allowing me to provide a more personalized, low-stress experience. My home has a calm, wellness-focused atmosphere, and I’m just a 2-minute walk from Flamingo Park and 5 minutes from the beach, giving dogs plenty of opportunities for exercise, fresh air, and enrichment. One thing that sets me apart is my lifestyle. I don’t drink or use drugs, so I’m naturally an early riser and maintain a healthy, consistent routine. Morning walks, regular feeding schedules, playtime, and attentive care are simply part of my everyday life. Your pet won’t be cared for by someone recovering from a late night out—they’ll be cared for by someone who genuinely enjoys healthy routines and spending time with animals. I’m experienced with puppies, senior dogs, anxious pets, and dogs that need a little extra patience and reassurance while their families are away. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, preferences, and routines so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in my care. I also provide daily photo and video updates, so you’ll always know how your furry family member is doing while you’re away. Animals tend to bond with me quickly because I genuinely love being around them. My goal is simple: to make your pet feel happy, secure, and right at home while giving you complete confidence and peace of mind!

Yana took great care of our cat Tux. She was super responsive to all of our questions, very accommodating to his care. She gave us great updates. She was very kind and professional- I would absolutely have her look after Tux in the future. She’s great!
Yana is a gem! We had a last minute cancellation from another pet-sitter. We were so fortunate Yana was able to watch our pet on short notice. She sent photos, took our dog for lots of walks, was very communicative the whole time. She did a wonderful job! Our Luna loved her time with Yana, we’ll definitely book with her again!

Yana came to dog sit our very anxious cavapoo, Bubbles! She went above and beyond making sure he felt safe, comfortable, and loved. She was excellent following our detailed instructions and communicating with us about how he was doing. Would absolutely book Yana again in a heartbeat. Can’t recommend her enough!
Yana is a great sitter! She does very well with my high energy high anxiety dog. I feel so safe with her in my home while I’m away. My dog loves her and is always so excited when she visits. We are reoccurring customers for a reason! Couldn’t recommend her more!

Schedule
I run my own online education and coaching business from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care. I live alone in a calm, cozy South Beach apartment, so your pet will receive lots of individual attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. When I’m not working, I enjoy long walks, cooking, reading, listening to podcasts, exploring art and museums, watching great movies, and spending time outdoors. I live just minutes from Flamingo Park and the beach, making it easy to give dogs plenty of exercise, fresh air, and enrichment. I maintain a healthy lifestyle, don’t drink or use drugs, and genuinely enjoy a peaceful home environment. Pets who stay with me become part of my daily routine and are treated like family while they’re here.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only take on a small number of dogs/cats at a time to ensure everyone gets plenty of attention and care. My home is clean, calm, and free of hazards, no other pets or small children, so it’s ideal for sensitive or senior dogs. I always follow your pet’s routine closely and keep you updated with messages and photos, so you feel connected and at ease. I also never leave pets unattended and only use secure, well-fitted harnesses on walks.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I tailor activities to their energy level and personality. For active dogs, we enjoy walks around South Beach, trips to Flamingo Park, the beach, games of fetch, tug-of-war, and plenty of playtime. For more relaxed or senior pets, I focus on gentle walks, sniffing adventures, cuddle time, and a calm environment where they can feel safe and comfortable. Because I work from home, pets get lots of companionship throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods. I also provide enrichment through toys, treat puzzles (if provided by owners), training reinforcement, and plenty of attention and affection. Living just minutes from both Flamingo Park and the beach means there are always fun opportunities for exercise, exploration, and fresh air. Most importantly, I make sure each pet gets the right balance of activity, rest, structure, and love so they can enjoy their stay like a home away from home.
