About: I have been around pets for as long as I can remember. I have two labradors, one 14 year old and one 4 year old, so I have experience with puppy’s and elderly dogs! I have always been in charge of taking the dogs on walks, and I have been covering for my sisters Rover dog walks when needed :) As of now I am unemployed for the summer, so I have a lot of availability! I am going on a couple short trips this summer, and will be going to the University of Miami in August, but other than that I am very available! I lived in a suburb until moving to Boston this month, so I am familiar with both yard and city environments. We used a crate until my dog was about 2, I like to keep them leashed and close to me, and I always keep their waters full!

“I can’t recommend Katherine enough! She took wonderful care of my one-year-old cat, Koda, while I was away. He was dealing with pink eye in both eyes and needed complicated medication. Katherine not only managed to give him his medicine reliably, but she also went above and beyond: taking him to the vet when he had a bad reaction, communicating closely with the clinic, noticing when he started scratching, and even finding a collar to keep him safe and comfortable. From day one, Koda absolutely adored her which instantly put me at ease (since I am a bit of a nervous pet parent and it was my first time leaving Koda with someone else). He was rolling onto his back, showing his belly, and rubbing against her legs from the moment he met her. That kind of immediate trust says everything honestly. On top of her amazing care for him, I trusted her completely with my home. She house-sat for me as well, and I came back to a clean, lovely space. Katherine is caring, attentive, responsible, and clearly has a special gift with animals. I would 100% hire her again (and honestly plan to every time I am out of town) and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate sitter. Like, honestly. As to experience with dogs, I have brought all three of our family dogs home- my chihuahua Blueberry, my Maltipoo Teddy who I taught how to do obstacle courses such as jump through hoops, run through poles, go through tunnels, ect. And lastly, I got my very own miniature Aussiedoodle puppy this past year named Kova who’s about 11 months old now. I have 4 years of experience dog sitting my family, friends, and people on Nextdoor throughout all 4 years of high school from tiny to large dogs. I can also help teach them tricks! I live in an apartment close to University of Miami campus where I live with a few other girls and we have my puppy & my roomates Pomeranian living with us. I’m looking to pet sit, do walks, and check in’s since I love animals and have a bit more free time this year! I also have a car so I am able to drive to pickup and drop off! I promise I will treat your furry friends like my own with the utmost care & love! I’m currently a Junior at the University of Miami. About: I have taken care of my own dogs and cats since I was little. I am a certified dog trainer at school, helping puppies at their beginning training stage! I cut my cat’s nails! I’m currently a full-time college student living off-campus. I have class every day but do have time to go back during breaks if needed. I also work on campus. I wake up fairly early and go to bed late. When dog sitting, I make sure the home is clean, confirm the dog(s)/cat(s) are eating, drinking water, and doing their business. I am able to administer medication as necessary, and attend to any other needs. Growing up, I was also lucky enough to grow up with 2 Portugese Water Dogs (Medley and Mocha), and a family cat (Musette) as well. I played a large role in training and taking care of them for many years while living with my parents and also assisting neighbors and family friends with their pets whenever I could. I️ hope I️ am able to help support you and your pets, and promise I️ will love and care for them as if they’re my own! I work from home and am my schedule is very flexible. I will work with you to ensure I am available and ready to help you with all of your pets needs! I can certainly say that my pets are my utmost priority, and I extend that feeling to yours as well! No pet in my care will ever be without abundant love and care. I will be sure to become familiar and well versed with all of your pets needs and do all that I can to maintain and accommodate their habits and comfortability for a seamless experience for all!
