“The thought of leaving my Belgian Malinois, Axel for a week with perfect strangers was very difficult for me. My previous experience with boarders was not a very positive but I was left with no choice since we had already booked a family vacation on a week long cruise. I found Frank and Marlene on Rover and almost immediately, felt very comfortable with the thought of leaving Axel with them. Frank suggested that we meet them in person prior to ensure that we were a good fit. After our first meeting, i knew i had found the right people! They are animal lovers and we share similar interests. Fast forward to the day we dropped Axel off, he didn't even look back when Marlene led him inside. Marlene sent us photos and videos of Axel at various times of the day throughout the week. I know when Axel is bored or frustrated and let me tell you, that one one happy boy!!! They played fetch with him, they allowed him to play with multiple toys, they took him for rides on a golf cart, he interacted with other animals they care for. He was as happy and relaxed as he is on our farm. In fact, my wife spent a good deal of time showing off the pictures and videos to anyone who'd care to watch. on several occasions, we were asked if there were any "Axel Updates" by other passengers we met throughout the week. I can't say enough about the care that this wonderful family provided for our Axel. Please feel free to reach out to me directly for more details if necessary.
