Having worked in an animal shelter for 5+ years, and continuing on to pet & house sit for the past 10, I can truly say it's a passion of mine. I find it such a rewarding experience to get to have a small role in your pets' lives. I also work as a holistic health coach & wellness chef, so I like to bring in reiki work (especially helpful for older pets or those with chronic conditions), as well as homeopathic methods of transforming pet temperaments (I've worked with many stubborn & anxious pets!) - but only if you're open. Otherwise, I love long walks & luckily so do most of your dogs :) I'm also happy to stay in your place to watch your cat/s (I have an extra soft spot for the kitties). I don't have a car, but if you cover the transportation cost I'm also happy to transfer your pets or bring them on play dates as you wish. Hope to connect soon!

We recently started using Mary for dog sitting, and it’s been an excellent experience from the start. She is incredibly reliable, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. Our dog warmed up to her right away, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Our dog usually doesn’t warm up to people when she first meets them. It’s not easy to find someone you fully trust with your pet, but Mary has exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog sitter.

I was so grateful for Mary - she allowed me to have peace of mind knowing my fur babies were well taken care of while I was away - she kept me up to date on them and went above and beyond to manage an AT&T tech support visit to fix my WiFi - a great experience I would definitely work with her again!
We have had multiple stays where Mary comes to look after our dog Teddy. This last trip was 10 days. She communicates well with us, sends photos or videos daily, pays close attention to any specific requests for him, and takes great care of our home. Highly recommend her service.

Schedule
I work from home & will have plenty of time to give your babe all the love. I’m totally flexible with my schedule so I can make sure to give my full attention to making sure your pet has an amazing experience.

Safety, trust & environment
My apartment is pet friendly & is on a quiet tree-lined street in Miami Beach, which means plenty of long walks with the safety of a low-traffic area & lots of little parks to play in. There’s also an animal hospital just a 5 minute walk away which puts a lot of my clients at ease. I only take 1 client at a time & thoroughly clean between visits. I’m also happy to sit your pet in your own home, in which case I am careful to leave your home even better than you left it :) I used to live in Edgewater & still have a steady clientele there, so I’m over there often for sits - if you’re not immediately in the miami beach area where I’m located don’t feel shy about still reaching out.
A typical day
I love to keep your pets stimulated with different activities by bringing them around with me whenever possible. Plenty of park visits & beach dates. I love to walk down by the bay or to the boardwalk.
