About: Our family loves dogs. All animals actually but especially dogs. We work with several rescue organizations in the area and can't get enough doggie love! A fenced in yard and two parks in our community make this a very dog friendly neighborhood. I work from home so guests get the attention they need and we love to go for walks! Our kids are dog respectful and great for socialization. Your pup will love it here! I work from home and my boys are available for playing and socialization after school and weekends. I am able to watch and attend to your pet throughout the day and I consider it a privilege to spend time with your fur babies. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of grass and interesting spces to explore. Lots of shade and cozy areas to nap. I have toys but bring your favorite. I can crate if necessary.
About: I’ve had the privilege to experience owning many different pets since I was a child(cat, dog, ducklings, lizard, turtle) and know what it really takes to love and care for an animal. During high school, I volunteered at Saving Sage Animal Rescue and I also have an 11 year old miniature schnauzer named Shadow that I have had to administer oral and topical medications for so I can do it for your pet too if needed. I’m home full time and I’m currently taking online college courses for my degree in veterinary medicine so I have plenty of time to have fun and take care of your babies. I’m available weekdays, holidays and, weekends all day. I recently moved into a spacious apartment, there is plenty room to run around inside and a big unfenced grassy area for dogs to play in. I can provide cuddles, hourly bathroom breaks (if needed that frequently), play time and a bath if they get too dirty. Pets are allowed on the furniture and in beds so if they usually sleep with you or relax on the couch, it will be just like at home.
About: With a deep passion for animals, I bring a wealth of experience in pet care for as long as I can remember I give personalized attention to ensure happy, contented pets. Pet care is seamlessly integrated into my weekly routine. It's not just a job; it's a lifestyle. Daily walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship are essential parts of my day. I offer flexible pet care options, accommodating pets in my pet-friendly home or tending to them in their familiar surroundings at clients' homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
“I’m SO happy we found Natasha! She was very responsive and I can tell my dog was so happy staying with her. It’s a safe and loving environment, with a trustworthy and experienced sitter. I absolutely recommend booking a stay with her for your furry loved ones!”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs all of my life. My family relies on me to care and love family pets when they are out town. I dedicate 100 percent of my time to the care of pets only! Pets are never unsupervised. They have access to a fenced yard 24/7. Minimum of 24 hours is required to allow for possible meet/greet prior to booking A dedicated fenced clean yard adjacent to an indoor area with AC, crates, food preparation, and "comfy" furniture. Your baby's safety is always guaranteed here.
“Sarah and Embryl minimized our anxiety and made us felt at ease with our first experience leaving our sibling pupply labradoodles in a doggy day care. Appreciated the thorough and detailed updates and photos throughout the day. We are definitely leaving our puppies with Sarah’s care.”

“Another day for my boy at Becky’s and Ravi. what a pleasure having him there . I feel relaxed and confident at work that my baby will be taken care of with love and attention. She is also training him to socialize with other dogs . My boy is still a puppy but with patience and directions he is making progress. I am so pleased with them . I always come back to them . Thank you Becky and Ravi . We love you and appreciate your effort , time and love . Ivet and Brownie . ❤️”

“There is no way there is a better option for anyone going to the Hard Rock. Left my baby to go to a concert. Nicole was great working with me with unknown drop off time nor knowing what time we would get out of the concert, out of the garage and back to her house. Made it very stress-free and she took great care of my girl!!”

“Valeriy and Oli are a wonderful couple who took great care of my two babies. They were very attentive and kept me updated with regular photos and videos. I would definitely trust them again—100% recommended!"”

About: I've been caring for dogs for 4 years and genuinely love having them around. We're a family of four — including my two daughters (9 and 14) who are great with animals — so your dog will have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. We also have our own rescue dog, who is friendly and loves making new friends, so your pup will have a built-in buddy to hang out with. Our home has a fenced wooden backyard where dogs can run around, explore, and burn off energy safely. We treat every dog like part of the family, just a relaxed and happy environment where they can be themselves. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work part-time from home, and I genuinely love having a dog's company throughout the day. While my daughters are at school, your pup keeps me great company, and once they get home, they get even more attention, playtime, and love — they quickly become part of the family. Your dog will never be left alone for long stretches — they'll always have access to the house and backyard, plenty of one-on-one time with me, and a warm, relaxed environment where they can just be a dog. When dogs stay with me, their safety and comfort are the priority. My home is pet-friendly with a spacious backyard where dogs can play and explore freely. I work part-time from home, so I'm around during the day and your dog is always supervised and never left alone. I introduce all dogs to my own friendly rescue slowly and calmly to make sure everyone feels comfortable from the start. Dogs are welcome throughout the house and I follow whatever feeding schedule, routines, or special instructions the owner provides — I want your dog's stay to feel as normal and stress-free as possible.
“My dog comes home happy every day. She’s very flexible with drop off and pick up. I work long hours and it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg for 8+ hours of daycare. I have peace of mind knowing that my dog is in good hands. Definitely recommend Brigitta to anyone who needs to find a reliable sitter for their dog!”

“Francis was amazing! I had never left our 4 month old puppy with a dogsitter before, but I felt so comfortable leaving him with Francis. She has a beautiful open home where the doggies can play inside and outside all day and receive lots of human attention. When I brought our dog back for the second day he was so excited to see Francis! She is so warm and loving. I have already booked her again.”

“As a dog mom, we get very nervous about leaving our doggy babies. Today, I was fortunate to meet Xavier and his mom and they were a joy. Milo was a little timid at first but once he saw Xavier’s mom he was mushy. They kept me updated with pictures and communication was great. I’m very happy with the service we received and comfortable with letting Milo stay with them again.”

Nancy was an absolutely wonderful dog sitter! She was reliable, caring, and clearly loves what she does. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such good hands. She kept me updated and treated my pup like her own. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for dog, which says it all. I would 100% recommend Nancy to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind dog sitter.

Rita is amazing with our dogs. We have three catahoula leopard dogs who have a pack mentality. She understands this and is the one person who gives us peace of mind that our dogs are in good hands. She even gave the dogs extra padding in their crate to keep them comfy. Rita sent me with photos and kept me updated so our family could enjoy a vacation together. We truly appreciate Rita!

We were running late to pick up our Chow Chow, but our babysitter was understanding and kind throughout. They took great care of our pup and kept us at ease the whole time. They send pictures and keep us updated. It's clear they genuinely care about animals. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate sitter! 🐾

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
