“Lisa has been great to work with. She's been absolutely gentle with our giant and very communicative with the progress of his visits. Looking forward to having both her Dakota sit for us.”

“Stephanie was amazing with my sweet Sadie, she updated constantly throughout the day and sent me the most adorable pictures of my girl. She is quick to respond and she understands how much I love and care for my dog. Sadie had a blast with Stephanie, and I had true peace of mind knowing she was well taken care of while I worked. For reference Sadie had to have surgery and now needs supervision so she doesn’t mess up her surgery, which is exactly the care that Stephanie provided to my sweet girl. I will gladly be leaving Sadie with Stephanie and her family in the future!”

I am currently available full-time weekdays and weekends which means I have all the time and dedication it takes to care of your furry family members! “Brought my 10 month old Mini Goldendoodle, Lucca, to Aaron for daycare this week. Aaron sent me pics, texts and video of Lucca's day having a great time playing with the other pups that were there. I've already booked boarding with Aaron for next week. Thanks so much Aaron, I can see why you're a Star Sitter for sure!! Thanks and see you next week.”

About: I’ve had the privilege to experience owning many different pets since I was a child(cat, dog, ducklings, lizard, turtle) and know what it really takes to love and care for an animal. During high school, I volunteered at Saving Sage Animal Rescue and I also have an 11 year old miniature schnauzer named Shadow that I have had to administer oral and topical medications for so I can do it for your pet too if needed. I’m home full time and I’m currently taking online college courses for my degree in veterinary medicine so I have plenty of time to have fun and take care of your babies. I’m available weekdays, holidays and, weekends all day. I recently moved into a spacious apartment, there is plenty room to run around inside and a big unfenced grassy area for dogs to play in. I can provide cuddles, hourly bathroom breaks (if needed that frequently), play time and a bath if they get too dirty. Pets are allowed on the furniture and in beds so if they usually sleep with you or relax on the couch, it will be just like at home.
“Our dogs are always so happy to go to Cyn's! She is quick to respond and always accommodates us if we need to change drop off or pick up times. She takes great care of the dogs and sends pictures every day.”

“Bodhi has stayed with Helen a few times now and each time he stays with her, I realize how very lucky we are to have found such a wonderful pet sitter. I leave Bodhi with Helen knowing without a doubt that he will be well cared for, played with, and treated gently and with much love. Thanks, again, Helen!!!”

About: Hi there! I am a massive dog lover, but due to recently developing severe dog allergies, I’ve had to make a small tweak to my sitting availability. To stay healthy and give every pup 100% of my energy, I can only accept non-shedding / hypoallergenic breeds at this time. I’m so sorry for any inconvenience this causes for owners of heavy-shedding pups :( I wish I could host every single dog on Rover! If your fur baby is a non-shedder (like a Poodle, Doodle, Yorkie, Maltese, etc.), I would be absolutely thrilled to care for them! —————- I used to foster dogs for up to 3 weeks in my home and provided so much love, care, patience and a home for these babies. When fostering, it made me want to get a dog on my own. I love dogs so much and I’ve taken care of so many! Im very reliable, super friendly and very loving ❤️ Some of my friends and family members call me the dog whisperer. I’ve had a dog growing up and always been surrounded by dogs. I have a dog of my own who is my baby. He is a mini Bernedoodle and is turning 4 this year. I will treat your dog as if it was my own and always keep you in the loop! Your dog will have plenty of love and a bunch of cuddles As mentioned before, I currently work full time in office throughout the week 8-5 Mon-Thursday, WFH on Fridays and off on the weekends. My job is 10 minutes away so I usually stop at home during lunch to do a quick potty break. I have cameras inside and a gate if needed to separate my dog. We will go on walks nearby and have lots of play time. I cannot stay over a sitters house since I have a dog of my own, but I will be able to do drop in visits if needed! Your fur baby will always be taken care of and have my full blown attention. Your fur baby will be in great hands. I will send you plenty of updates and many photos! No need to worry :)

“All I can say is wow and amazing and such a comforting pleasure to know that Arlene was willing and able to watch my precious animal. She showed love and concern from the beginning respect and she asked questions which means a lot. During the time that my dog was with Arlene she sent pictures and updates of current statuses. In the beginning my animal honestly was having a hard time adjusting to the new surroundings but Arlene kept me involved 100% of the time and took my advice on how to proceed with my animal. When I arrived my animal was content and comfortable that she almost ignored me ?. The layout of Arlene's home and the daycare and how she has it set up for the animals is outstanding and very warm feeling! Try Arlene's dog services!”
About: I care for every dog like they are my own. I’ve been dog sitting and caring for dogs since I was 10 years old, and I’ve worked with a wide range of breeds, sizes, and personalities — from small dogs like Shih Tzus, Yorkies, and Chihuahuas to larger breeds like Boxers, Pit Bulls, and Golden Retrievers. I don’t just “watch” dogs — I focus on making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and at home while you’re away. I follow each dog’s routine for feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and rest so their stay feels familiar and stress-free. I provide a spacious, secure environment with a fenced yard, plenty of room to move around, and a calm home atmosphere. I also offer crates if needed, along with toys, treats, and blankets to keep your dog comfortable and entertained. I’m available for overnight boarding, daycare, and evening or weekend care, and I always make sure your dog receives plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. You’ll also receive regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine, and dogs in my care are never treated like an afterthought. I work remotely, which allows me to be home and available throughout the day to provide supervision, potty breaks, feeding, and attention. This means dogs are not left alone for long periods and always have someone nearby to check on them, interact with them, and make sure they are comfortable and safe. In addition, I have a trusted family support system, including my mom, uncles and grandparents, who help provide extra supervision and companionship when needed. Dogs staying with me receive consistent care, structure, and attention all day long, not just in the mornings or evenings. This allows me to provide reliable overnight boarding and daycare in a calm, home-style environment. When pets stay in my home, they are treated like part of the family in a calm, safe, and supervised environment. I focus on keeping their routine as close to home as possible so they feel comfortable and relaxed. I follow all feeding schedules, potty breaks, medication instructions, and any special care requests exactly as provided. Dogs get a healthy balance of playtime, walks, rest, and one-on-one attention throughout the day. I provide a secure, clean, and spacious home with a fenced yard for safe outdoor time, along with toys, blankets, and crates if needed. Dogs are never left unsupervised outside, and I carefully manage interactions between dogs to make sure everyone stays safe and happy. I also send regular photo and video updates so owners always know how their dog is doing. My goal is for every pet to feel calm, cared for, and at home while you’re away, and for every owner to feel complete peace of mind.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
