“Camilla and Maribela were amazing take care of our two dogs for the day! They were very sweet and attentive to the two pups, and sent us the cutest photos of the dogs having a great time. We were running late to pick up the dogs due to traffic, and they were so accomodating and understanding. We will go to them again when we need a dog sitter!”

About: I've taken care of pets since I was 13 (now 36) from dog and cats to lizards and snakes. I don't discriminate. When I was younger I only took care of friends and family but now I found rover I am currently on hiatus from my employer so I have ample amount of time to take care of and play with your fur baby. I have a very large fenced in yard for your dog to run and play. I also have my own fur baby to help keep your baby company. I don't crate my small French bulldog but i do have a large crate big enough for a 70 pound dog just in case your dog needs it.
“This was a great experience for my pup and I! Judy took very good care of Milo for me while I was at work and sent me pictures and texted me throughout the day. I felt very happy with his stay there! She even sent him home with a toy! I definitely recommend her!”

“Maria is truly exceptional. She and her family take care of my girls with so much love and attention . She keeps me updated with photos and messages, and it’s obvious how comfortable and happy they are in her home. One of my girls is very shy, yet she literally jumps out of the car to go to Maria’s house — and for me, that says everything. Knowing they’re treated like part of the family is the greatest peace of mind. I couldn’t recommend Maria more highly!”

“Awesome everything was great. We got updates and photos of our dog and he was so happy and comfortable. If your looking for good care this is the person you want.”

“My pups had an awesome day. I had them stay with Mary for a couple of “day” visits to get used to her and her home. Next time she will be keeping them overnight for several days. Mary is awesome… she takes puppies as well as adult dogs. She was working with my dogs on sit commands. They loved being there. Highly recommend!!”

“Peaches had the best day ever! So much room to play and a beautiful back yard. Dahyana was so kind and sent lots of photos of peaches playing throughout the day. will definitely be bringing peaches back!”

“Jennifer took so many wonderful photos and provided a wonderful experience for my doggy. She fed him and he looked like he genuinely had a nice time. I know my dog was cared for with her. She was kind, communicative and accommodating. Thank you so much!”

“I could tell my shy, sweet girl really enjoyed her time at Penelope's house. The pictures she sent of my girl smiling while being with the other dogs, really assured me I picked the perfect sitter. Penelope is dope 😊. Her house & yard were perfect and exactly what my girl needed. Maggie slept so soundly, like she had worked a 13hr shift. We will definitely book with her again & again.”

“Emilie was great with my young dog! This was her first time at doggy daycare and she had the best time. I appreciate all the photos Emile sent throughout the day. Thanks for a great first experience, will use again!”

“I had a great experience with Ryela. She was kind, reliable, and accommodating. She cared for my furbaby throughout the day, sent some photos to let me know he was doing well, and gave me peace of mind knowing he was in a calm environment. He was happy when I picked him up and brought toys back to Ryela which gave me assurance she treated him well. I would trust her to watch him again. Thank you for taking such good care of Maverick!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Plantation
Maria and her mother have been so flexible and accommodating to our family’s crazy schedule. Their doggy day care is a life saver for us when we can’t spend the time we wish we could with our dog. He gets so excited on our way there and is worn out when we pick him up. 10/10 recommend.

Grace has been an angel sent from heaven. After an extensive search for my senior chihuahua with advanced dementia, we found Grace. She is patient, flexible and adaptable; all critical attributes to tend to my precious Nina. I have now been able to return to a full-time office job and have the peace of mind I needed. Nina could not be in better hands. Thanks a million Grace.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
