“Elizabeth is the best! Very responsive and attentive to my pup. She sent lots of photos and I know my boy Otis loved having her hang out with him. Will definitely be re-booking with her 😊🐶”

About: I grew up with dogs and spent my high school years volunteering at the Humane Society. I have extensive experience providing reliable pet sitting/walking to friends and family as well. I also recently rescued my own dog who is a tripod! I am currently on summer break so my schedule is pretty open. My days/times are flexible and I can spend quality time with your pup! I am reliable and punctual and will treat your dog with the upmost care like he/she is my own. I enjoy going on walks, so it can be as long or short as you’d like and I am happy to spend extra time spending company!

About: I’ve always enjoyed taking care of pets from family & friends since a young age. They ask me to check in with feeding and cleaning after them, especially that I have a big heart for cats and dogs. Caring after young and senior pets has been a big part of my life when I became a Veterinary assistant and which is why I aspire to become a Veterinarian one day. I’m currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to care after your pet! I’m available for boarding services and can take out your pets a few times a day as needed. There’s plenty of time for playing and having their personal time as well. I have a fenced area and one friendly dog to keep your pet company. She is usually in her crate and is house trained, so no need to worry about her roaming around or bothering your pet. I can easily crate your pet if needed and there’s a large grass area to take long walks. The environment is calm and friendly.
“Kelly accepted another short notice request, then extended it a day after my work schedule changed last minute. She is a natural with the dogs, and I was able to focus on my job while out of town knowing the pups were well attended to.”

“Genesis was so great! She was very detailed and sent a lot of pictures. She kept us updated. We will definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone in need.”

About: I’ve been around dogs since the day I was born - my mom had a dachshund when I came into the world, so animals have been part of my life from the very start. I had an Old English pocket beagle for around 16 years, so I know exactly what it means to love and care for a dog through every stage of life, from playful puppy energy all the way through their senior years. Caring for an older dog taught me patience, gentleness, and how to give a pet the extra attention and comfort they need as they age. I’ve also looked after friends’ and family’s pets over the years, and I’m always the person people trust with their animals. Honestly, I’m obsessed - if I see a dog on the street, I light up and want to say hi to every single one. Your pup will be loved, played with, cuddled, and cared for like they’re my own :) I work from home Sundays and Mondays, so those days I’m around the whole time and can give your pet constant attention. Tuesday through Thursday I work 11:45 AM–8:15 PM outside the home, so those days are better suited to overnight boarding or house sitting where your dog is settled in, rather than daytime visits that need midday check-ins. Fridays and Saturdays I’m the most flexible. Whatever the booking, your pet always comes first and gets my full care when I’m with them. We’re going to have the best time together. I’ll take your pup to explore the parks near me, sniff out every new smell, and play fetch until those tails are wagging nonstop. Back home it’s cuddle time - toys, belly rubs, and lots of love. Whether your dog wants to run wild or curl up for a nap, I follow their lead. Having grown up with dogs my whole life, I just get them, and your best friend will feel like part of my family from minute one.
“So sweet and very communicative! Got back to me almost immediately when I sent the request and she was able to watch my dog for me while I was away on a short notice! Sent pictures and reported back to me every time! Will be going back with Maria for sure and I highly recommend her!!!”

“Zahra was wonderful with our dog! She was kind, responsive, and our dog took to her immediately, which gave us peace of mind as he has some medical issues. We felt confident our dog was in great hands the entire time. Would definitely have her watch our dog again!”

“Alexandrea and our cat Bruce made friends on the first visit. Alexandrea also stayed for a good 30 minutes (Check-In) and made sure Bruce was fat and happy and also played with him while we were gone. Past experiences is was in and out in 15 minutes it seemed from others. I will be looking for Alexandrea on our next trip for sure!”

Yasmine was absolutely amazing with Arlo! She was incredibly attentive, kept me updated, and handled everything with such care and professionalism. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making sure he was happy and comfortable while I was away. She also treated my home with so much respect and left everything just as I had it. Coming home to a happy, relaxed boy gave me so much peace of mind. I would absolutely recommend Yasmine to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable pet sitter, and I would gladly book with her again!
So sweet and very communicative! Got back to me almost immediately when I sent the request and she was able to watch my dog for me while I was away on a short notice! Sent pictures and reported back to me every time! Will be going back with Maria for sure and I highly recommend her!!!

We recently moved and needed to find a new dog walker after years with the same person for our boy, Zeus. He is a senior, stubborn old man, and doesn't trust easily. From the moment Stephanie walked in the door, Zeus was in love! Not only can she get him to go out for walks, but he brings his toys to her and waits for her to pet him after their walks. We are thrilled with Stephanie and can't wait to have her back to see Zeus! Highly recommend.

Gaia was so kind and understanding of my babies needs. They immediately responded to her arrival with happy, wagging tails! They really love her! She took pictures and shared them with us, she had no problem asking us questions, and is just truly a reliable, honest and sweet person. Will continue to book her!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
