About: Over the years I have cared for a variety of animals, including domestic, exotic, and livestock. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their medically needy animals over the past decade and I am now opening that service up to Rover. I'm not a vet tech but I am comfortable and experienced administering a variety of medical treatments like insulin injections, pill regiments, eye drops/skin ointments, and subq fluids. Leaving town with a pet can be stressful, especially one that needs specialized care. I can help. Currently over all I have quite a bit of flexibility with my schedule. I have my own small business that is sporadic gig work on the weekends. Most events last 4 to 6 hours, maximum 8 hours, and not every weekend has events. I prefer to pet sit in the home the pets belong to. I find that with most animals it's incredibly stressful to move them, staying in their home with them minimalizes that stress. It also allows for easier medicine administration. I like to meet the pets and owners ahead of staying with them, this is to again reduce the stress on your pet when I show up without you as well as to observe the quality of care you are administering to your fur babies.

About: I believe that my experience comes from caring for my own and family pets over many years. I’ve had multiple pets at once and have cared for them through different stages of life, from a special needs puppy to my now partly blind Corgi who requires frequent eye drops and extra attention, to a senior cat who needed diapers, mobility support, and extra support at his 25 years old! I also have a large Siberian Husky who is known for being an escape artist, so I understand the importance of keeping energetic dogs safe and secure.
