About: I am a great care giver, I will run with your dog for an exceptionally long time. Your dog will get tired before I do. I'm athletic, very sympathetic, I'm also in love with dogs. I had a Yorkshire who sadly passed away from old age, so I would love to continue passing alot that love and nurturing that he recieved. I took care of my dog for over 14 years now and giving these services for over 6 years, so I'd say I'm pretty skilled in dog sitting and dog walks. You won't regret choosing me. I'm available 24/7. Taking care of dogs is one of the things that I simply just love to do. I feel that a bond can be created just by saying, "You're a Good Boy/Girl!" Thank you for choosing me! I am currently working full time at a substance abuse and mental health rehab center. This means that I work 5, 8 hour shifts out of the week during overnight hours. However, I have another person that assists me at home to care for the dog while I am absent and they are as responsible as I am. I do not have a fenced yard. I have a lake outside my door and I will take your lovely pooch out for walks around that lake. If you do not have a crate, I can provide one.

I will take care of your dog just like I do mine. You won’t be disappointed. I work from home, and have plenty of time to take care of your dog. I am very flexible, and have all the time in the world to attend to your pet. I will gladly walk your dog or just drop in for visits. Whatever you choose your dog will not be neglected. About: Hi 👋 I'm Michelle, I've had dogs from the time I was in kindergarten. I started with one dog and added more to the family throughout the younger years of my life. At one point I had five dogs and one cat together at once. I am experienced with puppies, dogs, and seniors. I have a flexible schedule and can work with pretty much any routine that is needed for you and your animal. If you let me know what schedule is required for you and your pet I will make sure I am able to accommodate it. I always walk puppies and dogs on a leash so they do not run away or get lost. Watching an animal is necessary at all times even while inside, because you never know what they can get into. It's important that animals have a blast while their parents are gone but safety is always maintained. I will also be glad to take photos and send them to you so you know your pet is doing good.

Whether it’s high energy large breeds that need structured activity or smaller dogs that prefer a calm routine. I focus on creating a safe and comfortable environment. My goal is to provide attentive personalized care so every dog feels happy, enriched, and well careful while you’re awake. I’m a school employee, so I am available any day in the summer, during any holidays, or weekends. I am an early bird and can do early morning visits or care as well as throughout the day. I would prefer to do visits in the client’s home, but. I am open to overnight boarding at my own home after knowing the dog’s temperament and demands. I live in an apartment with a fenced dog park.
About: My fiance & I are dog lovers. He has grown up with them of all breeds and sizes. We now have 2 of our own that would love to be friends with yours! We started by watching a friend’s dog and ended up loving the joy and playfulness of a third dog in our home. We love to give our guest pups daily walks and the best care possible. I am a teacher, so if you’re out of town for any holiday weekends and summer dates, I am your girl! Otherwise, my fiance has a more flexible work schedule during the day and I am home by 3:30pm I will only accept dates when we are home to give your baby as much love and attention as possible. We have a crate and a gate for separation if necessary.

About: I’ve took care of my three pets since I was 13 but also a few years later just started helping my parents watch them and take care of them up til now at the age of 20, I have two dogs and a cat and they’re all well behaved and lovely! I’m working a part time job in the mornings, 6am-1pm or 6am-2pm, I’m also quitting my second job due to poor management and pay, so this would help me save for a car and school! I take care of the pets by making sure they eat, washed if needed, get any sort of attention they want and or being walked!
“I am so lucky to have found Ashley. She is incredibly reliable and empathetic. She is a great communicator and literally the best help I could’ve had for my puppy.”

“Lori was super sweet! She’s very communicative and not afraid to ask questions. Lori went above and beyond, including literally hiding behind a wall to ensure our very shy cat ate dinner haha. She responds to messages quickly and effectively, and I absolutely would book with her again :)”

“Kyla is the BEST! Each time she’s come by to drop in while I’m at work has been amazing. Followed my specifications perfectly, always gives updates and is articulate. Extremely caring and loving to my dog. Wouldn’t use anyone else to dog sit.”

About: I’ve taken care of many animals for different clients and love watching all animals! I am flexible and ready to work! BIG animal lover for sure! I would make pet care fit into my routine before and after work. I am very flexible and love working with all animals. My husband and I have two rabbits currently who are our fur children. About: As a dog mom, I understand pets are family. I’m a caring, responsible, and patient person who will make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or companionship, I’ll treat your furry friend like my own. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive and loving care for your pet. I can accommodate walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and companionship, making sure your furry friend feels comfortable and cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my priority. I always follow the owner’s instructions, respect your pet’s routine, and provide a calm, caring, and secure environment.
About: I’ve taken care of a variety of pets and was always the neighborhood pet sitter as a kid! I’ve loved animals ever since I could remember and making pets feel loved has grown to be one of the many things that bring me joy and fulfillment. I believe every pet is deserving of love the best possible care throughout their entire life. From fish to hamsters to bearded dragons and dogs, I’ve learned that every pet has different needs. Pet care is subjective and over time, I have come to understand that. I have experience with all age stages when it comes to dogs. I followed my late dog, Pepo, through all of his life stages and learned to take care of him as a senior dog. I also have experience with puppies! When my cousin’s dog welcomed 6 puppies to this world, I helped her family take care of them and accompanied them to their vet visits. In short, I am comfortable with all dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal. Currently, I’m a college student going to school 3 times a week. Most of my classes end before noon giving me plenty of time for walks and drop ins throughout the day. The same goes for the two days where I do not have classes (Tuesdays and Thursdays). At the moment, I do not offer to take care of pets in my own home. However, with your trust and clear instructions, I am confident in my ability to provide the best care and support for your pet(s)!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Margate
Ariela did a phenomenal job caring for my dogs, Prince and Nala, while I was away this past week. My usual sitter wasn’t available, so I was looking for someone on short notice, and Ariela was incredibly accommodating and willing to help. Before my trip, we met to go over my dogs’ routines and care instructions, and she immediately put me at ease. Throughout the week, she kept me updated with videos and pictures, which gave me peace of mind knowing my pups were happy and well cared for. I truly appreciated her reliability, communication, and the love and attention she gave Prince and Nala. It can be stressful leaving your pets with someone new, but Ariela exceeded my expectations. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again in the future! 🐾❤️

This was our 1st time using Rover, or getting a pet sitter like this for our Havanese dog, and we were nervous. Thankfully Farai was wonderful! He came in and fed and walked our boy mid-day, as agreed, and did a great job. Farai stayed in regular contact and his pictures of Samson were so great to get. He did everything exactly as we had asked and he was wonderful with Samson. I will definitely have Farai help us out with our pet sitting needs in the future.

David was an awesome sitter. He really took the time in every visit to make sure my dog was ok. He was punctual, reliable and very kind. He also communicated every day and let me know how everything was going. I will 10/10 recommend him and will be booking him next time.

Leslie has been wonderful- she's been friendly, responsive, and caring with my puppy. I'm thankful I can depend on her to show up each day to give my pup some much-needed outside time and food. Her daily updates are also appreciated. My Emmie girl has been much more relaxed when I get home since meeting Leslie. I highly recommend her :)

I booked Royiesa through Rover, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the first message, she was so responsive, kind, and absolutely wonderful with my pets. I really appreciated the daily Rover updates and the adorable photo check-ins — it gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. When I came home, everything was spotless and my pets were calm, happy, and clearly well cared for. It’s such a relief finding someone who treats your pets like family. I’ll definitely be booking with [Pet Sitter’s Name] again and recommending her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, loving sitter on Rover!

I recently adopted a puppy and today was the first day I left her alone with my other dog for a whole work day. I have a ring camera but still needed that extra assurance that they were okay. I booked a same day (early) drop in and Annelly was available. It was a huge relief and I’m very grateful!

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Margate choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Margate with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
