About: I’ve been a professional dog groomer for 2 years and have owned dogs for over 20 years. I also have 6 years of experience dog sitting for families and friends. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, and anxious pets. I understand dog behavior, coat care, and safety, and I treat every dog with patience, love, and respect as if they were my own. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As a professional groomer, I’m very used to working with dogs throughout the day. I’m available most weekdays and weekends, and I can adjust my schedule when needed. Your pet will receive attention, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of care — never rushed. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and structured environment. I carefully supervise all pets and follow your instructions for feeding, routines, and medications if needed. I’m experienced with puppies, senior dogs, and nervous pets, and I always use gentle handling and positive reinforcement to make them feel secure and loved.
“Rachelle was a fantastic sitter for my cats! She was easy to contact and responded to messages in a timely manner. My kitties took to her immediately, and I was pleasantly surprised to see pictures of my normally shy babies sitting in her lap! She also left the cat bowls and litter boxes very clean, and even took out the trash without being asked. Leaving my cats under Rachelle's care gave me great piece of mind on my week-long trip, and I would highly recommend her. Thank you, Rachelle! :)”

“From my first conversation with Rachael I knew she would be a great fit to help with daily drop-ins for my 5 month old, energetic Goldendoodle. She asked questions to get to know our routine, more about Monty and what I needed help with prior to our first meeting. Since he’s a pup, a routine has been helpful with potty and crate training and Rachael has helped keep it consistent. In a few weeks Monty will be staying overnight and I already know he will be so well cared for. Highly recommend her :)”

“This was my first time leaving Mason with anyone but family to look after him. Needless to say I was a bit stressed. We met Alexandra and I immediately felt a sense of calm with Mason. Alexandra was efficient and took great care of my boy. I received daily pictures and messages. When I got home Mason didn't miss a beat, he was his normal happy cat self and not the least bit stressed and that made me happy and relieved. I highly recommend Alexandra and I will definitely be using her again to take care of Mason.”

“I'm so glad Brenda was available to help visit my kitty while I was away. I really appreciate the help! She was very kind and responsive. Hope to get her help again in the future!”

“Morgan and my kitties got along fabulously during my 6 day absence and I returned home to happy and well cared for cats! Morgan and I kept in daily contact and the pictures taken during each visit made my day! I will definitely rebook Morgan and gladly recommend Morgan's pet sitting services.”

About: Over the years I have cared for a variety of animals, including domestic, exotic, and livestock. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their medically needy animals over the past decade and I am now opening that service up to Rover. I'm not a vet tech but I am comfortable and experienced administering a variety of medical treatments like insulin injections, pill regiments, eye drops/skin ointments, and subq fluids. Leaving town with a pet can be stressful, especially one that needs specialized care. I can help. Currently over all I have quite a bit of flexibility with my schedule. I have my own small business that is sporadic gig work on the weekends. Most events last 4 to 6 hours, maximum 8 hours, and not every weekend has events. I prefer to pet sit in the home the pets belong to. I find that with most animals it's incredibly stressful to move them, staying in their home with them minimalizes that stress. It also allows for easier medicine administration. I like to meet the pets and owners ahead of staying with them, this is to again reduce the stress on your pet when I show up without you as well as to observe the quality of care you are administering to your fur babies.

About: Lifelong dog lover and current med student here! Raised alongside a Cockapoo and a Goldendoodle since I was six, I’ve spent nearly my whole life caring for pups. My medical training makes me exceptionally detail-oriented, reliable, and calm under pressure, while my inner kid just wants to provide the same love and attention I give my own family dogs. I’m a med student taking a gap year to study for my Step 1 exam. Since I study from home nearly 24/7, your pup will have constant companionship, a quiet environment, and endless study-break cuddles!. I’ve raised and loved a Cockapoo and a Goldendoodle since I was six years old, so dog care is second nature to me. Living right in Las Olas, I offer a premium, ultra-reliable, and highly attentive environment. My medical background means your pet is in the safest, most responsible hands possible!
“Ariel was great. We scheduled a 30 minute mid day visit. Ariel was right on time, gave us many photos and an update of the visit. We will definitely rely on Ariel in the future.”

“I am very happy with the day visits Monika's did for my two cats, one of which is elderly and very needy. She clearly loves my cats and she was equally as respectful of my home. She was punctual, communicative and very professional. I would trust her to take care of my cats abd home again no hesitation!”

“Thank you Charlotte for watching over Teddy, you took great care of him & I appreciate it. Your thank you note was such a sweet touch, I will definitely be reaching out if I need a sitter again!”
About: I have had many different dogs over the years and cared for more than one dog at a time, which makes me very comfortable in caring for your fur babies and understanding their many personalities. Also, I believe socialization is very important for all dogs so if you are comfortable, I am able to take them to a dog park (I have one near my home). This will allow them to create new friends and make their experience more enjoyable. Overall, I am trying to avoid getting another pet, so if you let me care for your fur baby I would heavily appreciate it :D As you can tell from my photos I treat all pets like they are a part of my family. Rest assured your baby and I will become best friends. I am a remote worker which allows me more time to care for your babies and a lot of flexibility. I believe this would be a mutually beneficial relationship as I'd be able to enjoy my day playing with dogs, while you won't be worried about taking your dog out. If you ever need to board your dog I am available on the weekends and if you need a house sitter because it would make your fur baby more comfortable I am flexible on those dates as well. I have a multitude of toys, treats, and puzzles to keep them engaged and happy. I also have a dog park which tends to not be busy which allows for running and fetch time in a safe environment.

“Helped me on a last minute 2 day emergency. Was very flexible and understanding of my schedule. Luna ended up getting sick while I was out of town and debi helped me by giving her medicine and cleaning up her mess. Highly recommend debi”

About: Hi! I’m a reliable, attentive dog sitter who treats every pup like part of the family. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your dog with someone new, so my goal is simple: keep your dog safe, happy, exercised, and loved—while keeping you updated and worry-free. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and personalities—from couch potatoes to zoomie champions. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, medications, leash manners, and sticking closely to your dog’s usual schedule. Whether your dog needs long walks, playtime, calm companionship, or all of the above, I adjust to what they need. You can expect: • Lots of one-on-one attention • Regular photo and video updates • Respect for your home and your rules • Clear, prompt communication • A sitter who actually enjoys hanging out with your dog I understand dogs communicate in their own ways, and I’m patient with shy pups, seniors, and dogs who need a little extra care. Your dog’s comfort and safety always come first. If you’re looking for someone dependable, calm, and genuinely dog-obsessed, I’d love to help care for your pup while you’re away. I am a dog Mom of 3 (small, medium, & large LOL) with a strong support system at home allowing me to assist you with your dog sitting needs. Having recently resigned from a very stressful corporate America role, I am ready for a meaningful, positive experience that gets me excited to go to work and take the best care of your fur babies having 3 spoiled pups of my own. I also have several years of experience with cat care for my neighbors who travel often. Keeping pets on schedule is very important to me and my pups. Following client instructions regarding feeding times, walks or time in the yard, applicable medications and/or treats, playtime, bedtime or whatever is needed for the best experience for the owner & pet!
“I have used Mafalda for drop in visits with my 4 year old doodle twice so far. She is very detailed in her care of him and is very communicative throughout her visit. I feel very comfortable with her and she is definitely an animal lover. I look forward to using her services in a regular basis and for house sitting when I travel soon.”

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Pompano Beach choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Pompano Beach with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
