About: I've been caring for dogs for over 15 years and currently have three dogs of my own, so I understand that every pup has a unique personality and routine. Family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, and care for their pets while they're away. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, from playful puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and attention. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I treat every dog like one of my own. Whether we're going for a walk, playing fetch, or just keeping each other company, I'll make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved. I'll also send regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I have a flexible schedule and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. I'm available for morning, afternoon, and evening walks, drop-in visits, and weekend care. I do my best to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible and always make sure each pet gets the time, attention, and exercise they deserve. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I'll follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications (if needed), and any routines your dog is used to. During walks, I use secure leashing practices, stay alert to our surroundings, and make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise while staying safe. During drop-in visits, I'll provide fresh water, meals, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of love and attention. I'll also send regular photo updates so you can feel confident knowing your pet is happy and well cared for while you're away.

About: Over the years I have cared for a variety of animals, including domestic, exotic, and livestock. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their medically needy animals over the past decade and I am now opening that service up to Rover. I'm not a vet tech but I am comfortable and experienced administering a variety of medical treatments like insulin injections, pill regiments, eye drops/skin ointments, and subq fluids. Leaving town with a pet can be stressful, especially one that needs specialized care. I can help. Currently over all I have quite a bit of flexibility with my schedule. I have my own small business that is sporadic gig work on the weekends. Most events last 4 to 6 hours, maximum 8 hours, and not every weekend has events. I prefer to pet sit in the home the pets belong to. I find that with most animals it's incredibly stressful to move them, staying in their home with them minimalizes that stress. It also allows for easier medicine administration. I like to meet the pets and owners ahead of staying with them, this is to again reduce the stress on your pet when I show up without you as well as to observe the quality of care you are administering to your fur babies.
“Aileen provided exceptional service attending to Phelps while I was away for 10 days. She was always prompt and courteous. I felt comfortable with giving her access to my home and everything was as I left it. I will definitely use her services again.”

About: I’ve been lucky enough to have dogs by my side my entire life—from playful puppies to wise and loving seniors. Caring for them through every stage has taught me patience, compassion, and just how much joy a wagging tail can bring. I dedicate myself to making sure dogs feel happy, safe, well-fed, and above all, loved. I’ll treat your furry friend with the same love and attention I give my own. It’s simply what they deserve. I have a warm and welcoming home that includes a gentle boy eager to meet all the good boys and girls in town. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to have weekends off, as well as a mid-week break. I have Wednesdays off during the week and love spending that time caring for pets. On the other weekdays, I’m home by early afternoon and available the rest of the day for walks, playtime, and cuddles. Weekends are my favorite time to relax at home, which makes me fully available and happy to dedicate my time to meeting your pet’s needs—whether that’s extra play, long walks, or just keeping them company. I live in a secure and cozy apartment that’s perfect for pets to feel at ease. There’s a balcony where they can enjoy some people-watching, and plenty of comfy hiding spots for when a thunderstorm rolls through. I also share my home with a gentle, loving good boy who’s always happy to make a new friend. For even more fun, our community has a fully fenced dog park for playtime and a convenient dog wash station to keep pups fresh and clean after their adventures.
“Estefania was a perfect sitter! She went above and beyond for me while I was away. My cat was in love with her and he looks forward to her next visit. Thank you!”

I work a full-time job with a one hour lunch period (to attend to your pets needs midday) Well behaved pets (with the owners approval or owners request) can be brought with me to work in a very small 3 person quiet office setting. About: I have been a kennel technician and an animal care specialist at animal control. I have numerous experience with cats and dogs. I have helped delivered puppies, took care of all animals for extended periods and have overnight dog sat for more than 2 weeks at a time. I am currently working but my hours are flexible and i am in nursing school full time so i am available as much as possible. I can fit your pet into my routine with no problem! I have a fenced yard and a dog at home. I will follow a schedule with no problem and reassure my client with constant communication and understanding that their animal is being 100% loved and cared for.
“I would give Eva 10 stars if I could. She did drop in visits for our two large dogs while we were out of town. One of our dogs was not feeling well, she went back during the day to check on him. We received a lot of photos and communication was great. She treated our dogs like they were her own! She went above and beyond with everything. I highly recommend her and will definitely use her again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Oakland Park
Marissa has been so helpful! Our puppy is so energetic, so young, and honestly a handful and Marissa has more than kept up. She makes sure our pup is cared for and she keeps us updated with everything that happens, we feel so comfortable with her around Winston. He can be a little needy, and truthfully so is his dad (lol) and she has been happy to help with all of our specific instructions. We couldn’t have had a better experience!

I usually use friends or family to watch my senior husky, but didn't have anyone last minute and so I hired Alyssa. She took care of my Senior Husky and made sure to spend quality time with her during each visit. She's reliable, dependable, and was always on time. Both my husky and I appreciate her for taking good care of my pup while I was away. I will gladly recommend Alyssa!

Kara was wonderful with our Yorkie, Poco and our two cats. Poco had special requirements as he is a bit anxious and she was kind to him and he even let her pet him. The cats were well taken care off. Kara updated us with pictures and had good communication. She demonstrated resourcefulness when a bull frog came into the cat area, she protected the cats, removed the frog and even cleaned the area the frog got "dirty". :) We were happy with her visits.
Nevaeh is wonderful! My big dogs loved her, my guinea pigs appreciated her, and my cats even decided that she was a friend. She respected my home and followed all of the instructions for them. She communicates quickly and kindly. I will choose her again and again.

Wow! Catherine was amazing. She was so sweet with our pup. She made sure she checked in on time for drop-ins and sent a lot of photos to make sure we felt comfortable while we were away from Lono. Catherine was very good at communicating with us during our time away. We would 100% use her again and will be in the upcoming months. Thanks Catherine!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
