About: I've taken care of pets since I was 13 (now 36) from dog and cats to lizards and snakes. I don't discriminate. When I was younger I only took care of friends and family but now I found rover I am currently on hiatus from my employer so I have ample amount of time to take care of and play with your fur baby. I have a very large fenced in yard for your dog to run and play. I also have my own fur baby to help keep your baby company. I don't crate my small French bulldog but i do have a large crate big enough for a 70 pound dog just in case your dog needs it.

I work full time from home 8-430. Typically after work, I’ll work out at home or go to the park to play volleyball or pickleball for some exercise. I have a large fenced patio in a development that has plenty of grass and small canals with lots of wildlife. Very nature oriented; your dog will get to sniff new smells!

My son was leaving on a business trip and I am recuperating from a leg injury that prevents me from walking my son’s 4 1/2 year old Gerberian Shepsky (GS Dog and Siberian Husky mix). He is a great dog but does not realize his own substantial strength. Ryan responded to my request within minutes and was available that morning. From the moment I met Ryan and his Fiance Debbie, it was evident that they love dogs and love taking care of them. They immediately became close with the dog and he would become very excited when they came to walk him. They would show up and he would run and say hello and then sit at the door for them to put his leash on Walks were long, especially in this heat, annd they would even run with him. Numerous photo updates would arrive by text while he was out on the walk and they would provide detailed reports of the walk. I’m 24 years old and currently studying Veterinary Technology at Broward College. My passion for animals started when I was very young, and it’s grown into something that truly defines who I am today. I’ve spent several years caring for pets, including small and medium-sized dogs, playful puppies, calm seniors, and cats with all kinds of personalities. I’ve also cared for smaller pets like fish and shrimp — I even have my own aquarium! My experience ranges from everyday walks and feedings to maintaining consistent routines that keep pets calm and happy while their owners are away. For several years, I boarded up to six dogs at a time in my home, managing different breeds, schedules, and personalities with patience and care. It taught me how to balance structure with affection — making sure every dog received attention, exercise, and love. Some of my clients became repeat customers, trusting me multiple times with their pets, which means a lot to me and shows how dependable and compassionate I am with every animal I meet. I also used to have my own dog, who I adored deeply. Due to house rules, I had to rehome him, but I made sure he went to a loving family filled with care, stability, and affection. That experience strengthened my understanding of responsibility and the emotional bond between people and their pets. Now, I focus on offering House Sitting and Dog Walking so I can give pets one-on-one attention and personalized care in the comfort of their own homes. I understand that some pets experience separation anxiety or stress, so I always create a calm environment and follow their normal routines to help them feel safe and loved. Through my studies in Veterinary Technology, I’ve learned how to recognize signs of stress, discomfort, or health concerns early on. I know how to approach each animal with patience, empathy, and care — whether it’s during walks, feeding time, or bedtime. I take pride in being organized, trustworthy, and consistent, with a genuine love for all animals big and small. My goal as Aunty Jess is simple: to make sure every pet I care for feels loved, safe, and happy — just like they would if you were home. 🕓 Schedule I like to keep my schedule transparent and well-organized so pet parents know exactly when I’m available and how I plan my days around your pets’ needs. I’m currently a Veterinary Technology student at Broward College, and I’ve built my class routine to make sure every pet in my care still gets the love, attention, and time they deserve. Here’s my weekly availability: 📅 Monday – Wednesday: I’m in class for about 3 hours during the day, but I’m available after 3:00 PM for house sitting and dog walking. Before leaving for class, I always make sure pets are fed, walked, and comfortable so they feel relaxed while I’m away. When I return, I give them my full attention for evening care, playtime, and cuddles. 📅 Thursday: I have a short 2-hour class during the day, so my availability is very flexible. I’m free after 3:00 PM and can provide walks, meals, and plenty of evening companionship. 📅 Friday – Sunday: These are my fully open days, which means I’m completely available for full-day and overnight house sitting. I dedicate these days to giving your pets my full focus — walks, playtime, meals, and comfort throughout the day and night. I always plan my week carefully to make sure your pets’ needs come first. Even on class days, I maintain structure and consistency by following their normal schedule as closely as possible. You’ll receive daily updates with photos or videos, so you always know how your pets are doing. Your pet’s well-being and routine are always my top priorities — I’m committed to keeping them safe, loved, and happy every day of the week. Safety and trust are my top priorities with every pet I care for. I know that when you choose someone to look after your pets and your home, you’re putting a lot of faith in them — and I take that responsibility very seriously. You can always count on me to treat your space and your pets with respect, care, and honesty. As a vet student, I have knowledge of basic animal health, safety practices, and behavior management, which helps me create a calm, comfortable environment for every pet. I make sure water bowls are always full, leashes and collars are properly fitted, and that pets are supervised closely during walks or outdoor time. If a pet seems anxious or uncomfortable, I know how to respond gently and reassure them until they relax. I also understand how important your home is. When house sitting, I always keep things clean, organized, and secure — the way you left them. I lock doors, follow your household instructions, and never invite anyone over. My goal is to make your home feel just as peaceful for your pets as it does when you’re there. Trust is built through communication, so I send daily photo and video updates so you can see exactly how your pet is doing. Whether it’s a morning walk, nap time, or dinner, I keep you informed and confident that everything is going smoothly. Your pets’ safety and emotional comfort always come first with me. “Ximena was fabulous with Luka, my Dane Shepherd 100 lb mix of pure love. She was very responsive to my messages and sent videos and photos throughout Luka’s stay. Her house and backyard was perfect for the dogs to run and play, lots of room for everyone. Ximena took excellent care of Luka with a routine of meals and play time. They even had nap time. It was like summer camp for dogs. Ximena also has a supportive family as well so there was lots of social time with her family.
