About: I’ve spent most of my life around animals, including dogs and horses, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my daily life. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, exercise, medications, and providing attentive, calm companionship. My background as a registered nurse has also strengthened my reliability, attention to detail, and ability to stay attentive to each pet’s individual needs and comfort. As a nurse with a flexible schedule. I have the ability to provide dependable pet care throughout the week, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional last-minute bookings when available. Recent empty nesters. We have a yard and a pool on the property. The pool is not fenced, so pets are always supervised closely when outdoors. Safety is my top priority, and I make sure each dog is monitored at all times and cared for according to their routine and comfort level.
“Hailey was amazing with my boy! Today was day one, and she was super professional, communicative, and genuinely caring. My dog absolutely loved her. You can tell she truly care about animals. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and kind. We will definitely be booking again! 🐾💛”

“Jodi is absolutely the best! She cares about my boy Carmelo, she makes sure he is OK and safe. We have an issue with the dog gate, she called me and helped to make sure my pet stays safe. I am so grateful I found her. If you are looking for the best sitter for your dog Jodi is the best!!!”

“Loved Magda! She was very thorough and made sure to ask all the right questions (even some I forgot about) to make sure our pups were taken care of while we were away on vacation”
“Chantil has been consistent, timely, understanding (when we've had to switch/cancel last minute), and such an overall joy to work with. I've never had another walker provide so many photos and videos of their time with our dog. She makes it feel like you are actually there with your pup! I can 10/10 recommend her, and hope that she will continue making our dog's day so much brighter in the future.”

“I cannot recommend Marrianne enough! She did an absolutely amazing job caring for my dog. From the very beginning, communication was clear, prompt, and professional. I felt completely at ease knowing my pup was in such caring and capable hands. She went above and beyond — sending regular updates, photos, and thoughtful notes after each walk. It was obvious my dog was happy, comfortable, and genuinely enjoyed their time together. I came home to a relaxed, well-exercised, and very content pup. It’s such a relief to find someone trustworthy, reliable, and truly passionate about what they do. I will definitely be booking again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional care for their furry family member! Thank you again for everything! 🐾💛”

“She was very sweet and I could tell sancho was well taken care of. Communication was thorough and clear, very easy to work with. I will definitely re book her when I am back in the area!!”

About: If you are a new customer to Rover you can use code JAZMIM24476 to get $20 off of your first booking. You do not have to book with me to get this discount. I've been caring for cats for the past 5 years. I've had neighbors, family and friends who needed cat care while they were on vacation and they always thought of me. I have three cats of my own who I adopted in 2023 and 2024. They are my world and I would do absolutely anything for them. Some kitties require more assistance than others. I have experience in administering medication in the form of pills, liquids and cream. My cats specifically have had to take pills and liquid medications. My neighbors cat had a wound on the back of her neck and needed an ointment placed on the affected area daily. I have experience in socializing cats as well. My third cat was adopted a year after my first two. It took a lot of time and energy but was completely worth it. They all love each other so much and are now best buddies. I love all animals and believe they should be at peace in their own home when you're not there. With that being said, I also believe pet owners should not have to worry about their pets when they are on vacation. I will love your pet/s like they are my own! I work from home and am available any day of the week to do drop in visits to your home and tend/care to your pet/s. I care for pets by following their normal routines as closely as possible. This includes feeding on schedule, refreshing water, and keeping litter boxes or potty areas clean. For cats, I provide daily litter care, feeding, and play or companionship. For dogs, I make sure they get regular potty breaks, walks, exercise, and attention based on their energy level. I’m always happy to provide extra care or attention as requested to make sure every pet feels safe and well cared for.
About: My home is peaceful and safe. The pets have 24 hour care with plenty of attention and space if they need. I pet sit regularly and am very trustworthy. I have a large yard and a safe neighborhood. Pets will receive plenty of care and attention. I work from home and have freedom of schedule so any needs the pet has will be met. I have a large fenced yard for the pet to be outdoors. I have a safe neighborhood to walk the dog(s) in. The dog will feel happy and loved.
About: I absolutely love caring for cats! I have an older cat who means the world to me, so I understand how important it is to find someone who is patient, attentive, and genuinely caring. Since I work from home, your cat will rarely be left alone and will receive plenty of love, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I also make it a priority to send regular updates and photos because I know how reassuring they are. Whenever I've left my own cat in someone else's care, those updates meant everything to me, and I want you to have that same peace of mind while you're away. I work from home, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I’m around throughout the day for feedings, playtime, litter box care, and companionship, and I can adjust my schedule to meet each pet’s specific needs. I live in a clean, calm condo and prioritize safety at all times. I keep doors and windows secure, maintain a pet-friendly environment, and closely follow each pet’s routine and instructions.
“Catherine was absolutely amazing! For someone that travels for work being able to have someone take care of my dog while I’m is huge! But she is not only helpful, but caring, consistent, and a great communicator. She shows up on time she’s proactive and she makes sure that my dog got every minute in for his walks. Thanks again Catherine!”

I also recently rescued my own dog who is a tripod! I am currently on summer break so my schedule is pretty open. My days/times are flexible and I can spend quality time with your pup! I enjoy going on walks, so it can be as long or short as you’d like and I am happy to spend extra time spending company!

Nikole has been absolutely amazing! She consistently sent pictures and provided detailed updates after each walk, including how it went, bathroom breaks, and more. She truly went above and beyond. I would recommend Nikole to anyone looking for a pet sitter or walker. She made the entire experience so comfortable, reassured us with any questions we had, and kept our boy, Dunkin, safe and happy. Thank you, Nikole, for taking such great care of our fur family. We will definitely continue booking with her. Thank you again!❤️🐾

Luiza has been walking my two large dogs for the past couple of months a couple of times a week. She is a great communicator, trustworthy, reliable and the dogs love her! My one dog was giving her a hard time not wanting to walk at the beginning, but she handled it perfectly and eventually got the dog comfortable with walking with her. I highly recommend Luiza for your dog walking needs!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
