About: Over the years I have cared for a variety of animals, including domestic, exotic, and livestock. Friends and family have trusted me to care for their medically needy animals over the past decade and I am now opening that service up to Rover. I'm not a vet tech but I am comfortable and experienced administering a variety of medical treatments like insulin injections, pill regiments, eye drops/skin ointments, and subq fluids. Leaving town with a pet can be stressful, especially one that needs specialized care. I can help. Currently over all I have quite a bit of flexibility with my schedule. I have my own small business that is sporadic gig work on the weekends. Most events last 4 to 6 hours, maximum 8 hours, and not every weekend has events. I prefer to pet sit in the home the pets belong to. I find that with most animals it's incredibly stressful to move them, staying in their home with them minimalizes that stress. It also allows for easier medicine administration. I like to meet the pets and owners ahead of staying with them, this is to again reduce the stress on your pet when I show up without you as well as to observe the quality of care you are administering to your fur babies.

About: I’ve cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, especially senior pups who need extra patience, gentleness, and love. Growing up, I had two senior dogs, a 17 year old Poodle and a 15 year old Shih Tzu, so I’m very familiar with caring for older dogs, understanding their routines, and recognizing when they need a little extra support or comfort. I currently have a one-year-old Shih Tzu who I’ve raised since he was a puppy, so I’m experienced with both young, energetic dogs and calmer, older companions. I work full-time but only three days a week, which gives me great flexibility for drop ins, walks, and house sitting. About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I currently have two bunnies, an 11-year-old male and a 7-year-old female, as well as a 2-year-old male cat. I consider them my actual children and treat them with an incredible amount of love and care. Because I’m a fur parent myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. I know how much peace of mind comes from knowing that your pets are safe, happy, and in good hands while you’re away. I also regularly care for two dogs for a family friend. One is a senior dog who requires additional support and attention due to medical conditions, including receiving medication throughout the day. The other is an 8-month-old puppy who needs extra supervision, patience, and attention. Caring for them has given me experience with both senior pets who need additional support and young puppies who need more guidance, supervision, and patience. I’m currently attending a professional pet grooming school three days a week during the day. Through my program, I work with many different breeds and personalities and am continually learning how to safely and patiently handle dogs with different temperaments and needs. I also volunteer once a week for three hours during the morning at the Broward County Humane Society, where I help with dog bathing. This experience has helped me become more comfortable working with a variety of dogs and has taught me the importance of patience, communication, safety, and adaptability. If I’m caring for your pet in my home, I have a large fenced-in yard where they can run, play, and enjoy potty breaks. I do have an unenclosed underground pool, so I’m extremely cautious and always supervise pets closely to keep them safe. When caring for pets in their own home, I’m a quick learner and adaptable to their routine and individual needs. I’m comfortable with basic pet care and happy to accommodate special requests with clear instructions. As a fur parent myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets. My goal is to provide loving, attentive care and give both you and your pet peace of mind while you’re away.
About: CATS- I Have Taken Care Of (and spoiled) My Cat Babies For Three Almost Four Years Now. I have experience providing medical care to my most stubborn cat that had to have emergency surgery early this year. I am experienced with giving pills and liquid medication, taking cats temperatures, and trimming nails! DOGS- I have experience walking and playing with dogs. I have not brought a dog into my home yet because I want to make sure they have plenty of space, but I love to hang out with my family’s and friends dogs, take them to parks, on drives, and more :) I am currently working part time at a dermatology office as an esthetician! This leaves me with availability to help care for pet babies on Mondays Tuesdays Thursdays and Fridays after 4, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday all day! I currently have 2 indoor cats and no dogs, I share a one bedroom apartment with my amazing (also animal loving) partner. We do not have a fenced in back yard, but we have lots of land to take walks of our own or walks with dogs :) We have a balcony where my 2 cats love to hangout on and watch birds, leaves, and people.

Genesis is great! Maybe, the best with my dog, Sophie, when I’m away. Genesis, provided us a drop-in visit, giving Soph treats, affection, and she even fed her for me, which was an unexpected bonus. She did all of this on short notice with not much prior introduction to meeting Soph. Genesis is one of the best and I highly recommend her! Thank you, Genesis!
Lauren took wonderful care of our three cats while we were out of town for a long weekend. She came by beforehand to meet us and the kitties and learn their routine.
