“Carson was very patient with me as I sorted out my schedule. She came highly recommended from the references she provided. She cared for my elderly dog, Penny, including administering a complicated regimen of medication. I would hire her again!”

“Max was great! She responded to my messages quickly and sent pictures of my dog. She informed me about everything that happened and how it went. She’s awesome”

About: I owned two dogs up until the age of 16 and loved them dearly. I often took my dogs out for long walks and played with them to make sure they were always active & engaged. Since then, I’ve dog/cat sat for numerous friends and neighbors throughout and post college. I always treat others’ animals with the same love and care as I did with my own! I currently work from home, so I have the flexibility to walk or play with your dog before 9am or in the afternoon and evenings if needed! Unfortunately I am unable to host at this time due to my resistance not allowing dogs, but I am available to dog sit in your home! I will ensure the comfort and safety of your dog at all times in a clean environment and can provide any specific additional/necessary support needed!

“Chenelle was very good with our dog and would send us videos and pictures throughout the day, so we were constantly updated. We would use her again!”

“Natalie was AMAZING with our little Romeo. She was super communicative, great to work with, and very accommodating. We highly recommend her for your dogsitting needs and will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future.”

“Michael did a great job caring for our senior dog and hermit crab while we were away. He ensured our dog was walked at the times we specified and was fed and medicated as needed. He sent regular updates with picture and videos to keep us informed throughout our time away. Based on our security footage, our dog really enjoyed Michael’s company. Michael also took good care of our house and left everything in order at the end of his stay. I would definitely recommend Michael!”

“Marlene exceeded all my expectations. She’s very great with dogs and took such good care of my frenchie Lexi at our home while we were away. Very awesome personality, great communication seeing frequent pictures and updates on Lexi gave me so much peace and reassurance. Can’t wait for another getaway, Lexi will always be in great hands with Marlene she has been a blessing.”

About: I’m new to Rover, but not new to caring for pets! I’ve had the joy of caring for dogs since I was young and grew up with three of my own. Over the years, I’ve become the go-to person for dog walking, feeding, training, and light grooming for friends, family, and through fostering. I genuinely love bonding with dogs and making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m excited to build my Rover community and would love the opportunity to give your pets the same love and attention I’d give my own! I’m in the office from M-F 9-5, so after 5 and on the weekends I’m flexible and able to give your pup lots of time, play, and companionship. Whether your dog needs regular walks, drop-in visits, or just a little extra company during the day, I’m here to help and always working around their routine to keep things familiar and low-stress. While I currently live in an apartment and foster animals, I’m not offering boarding at this time. But when I care for pets in your home, I follow their routine closely from feeding and walks to playtime and medication. I also treat your space with the same care and respect I’d expect in mine.

“Pete went above and beyond! Incredible job as far as attention to detail and instructions. Very nice guy who kept us completely in the loop the entire time we were gone. Pete is easily the best dogsitter we’ve ever had and our dogs can’t wait to have him back. Whatever is above a perfect rating is what we’d rate him.”

“Alexandra was a wonderful sitter for our home and pets. Animals seemed very comfortable and happy in her company and she sent lovely updates daily. She was very responsive and accommodating and took excellent care of our home. Thanks for everything, Alexandra!”

About: What sets me apart is my love for dogs, puppy socialization, and dedication to personalized, enriching activities that ensure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved. My tailored approach combines exercise, and compassionate care, making me a dependable and innovative pet sitter. Pet care is an essential part of my daily routine, including feeding, exercise, and affection. Weekly, I focus on monitoring health to ensure overall well-being. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine to ensure comfort. I provide feeding, exercise, playtime, medication if needed, and companionship. I also maintain a clean environment, offer affection, and keep owners updated for peace of mind.

About: I've owned dogs since I was 10 years old and had three (2 pitbull mixes and 1 doberman) while being teenager. I assisted with feeding, toileting, walking, and bathing them. I am now 33 years old and I own two cats who I care for (feeding, entertaining, cleaning up after, etc.). Cats arguably have different needs :P One of my hobbies is to watch dog training videos and I don't know if I can put that to good use on your pets, but maybe you'll come back and find your pooch knows some new tricks (or manners)! At the moment, I am not working at a job, so my availability is quite open to the needs of my clients and their pets. I will not be able to bring your furbabies to my home, but given the tools at your home, I will be able to care for them to the best of my ability there! I will ensure your pets have the food and water they need, have a clean litterbox (or take them out), and ensure that the home is safe for the pet in question. I would do a sweep of the house and ensure nothing is out of place or has been messed with (by your pet) before continuing with the duties you've requested me for!

“This was Naomi first time with Spartacus. She has the patience of a saint and has a lot of knowledge about animals. She gave me some great tips for Spartacus and has a wonderful personality. We felt very comfortable with having her in our house and look forward to her helping us with our fur baby in the future!”

About: My current pet dog has been with me for over 12 years. I have trained several puppies and untrained adult dogs. I have fostered a few. Have long experience with long-term senior care with my parents' dog and my own dog. I sit for my friends' and sisters' dogs and also boarded them. I can handle any dog and am nurturing. I will look after your dog like they are my own. I work from home and take care of my own dog. I have a flexible schedule and can be available on short notice. Can travel if need be. My dog is very laid-back, well-trained, and patient, and walk her 3-4 times a day. She has a nice space in the house with plenty of access to water and a very comfortable bed. She's been trained to avoid certain areas of the house so she doesn't get into any trouble, such as the kitchen and bathroom. I am very diligent about following any medical care instructions. I can walk dogs with varying exercise needs, and am physically strong enough to handle strong pups. And it goes without saying that I'm very responsive to phone calls, texts, and emails if any updates are desired.

“I highly recommend CeeCee for your pet and home sitting needs. We hired her to look after our overly affectionate cat and our quirky pit-mix pup while out of town for 6 days. CeeCee was communicative, sent pictures, and took care of needs as requested, including watering plants. She kept the house tidy, even throwing in a load of wash at the end of her stay. We will definitely be repeat customers for future pet sitting needs.”

“Rachel was FANTASTIC with our 70+ pound Rottweiler/Husky with separation anxiety. She played and engaged with him when his energy was up, and let him lounge and rest when he needed it. We got frequent photo and text updates (and she takes really great doggy photos), and she even did an art project with him. He was happy and relaxed when we got home. Would definitely use her again for dog sitting in our home and might event try boarding him in her home when the need comes up. Thanks Rachel!”

“Maybelline did a 5-star job caring for our sheltie Pepper. (Thank you, Maybelline!). Maybelline is a reliable, trustworthy, and caring pet sitter. She is a terrific communicator and did an excellent job providing daily updates. We especially enjoyed the Pepper photos she sent. When we returned from our trip, it was clear that Pepper was well cared for and happy.”

About: I’ve had experience taking care of dogs since I was 13. Aside from caring from my own dog, I have care for the dogs (and cats!) of family and friends, walking them, dog sitting at their homes, or dropping for walks, feeding and play time. I’ve had plenty of experience working with puppies and senior dogs, particularly with my own dog who experienced many health issues in his older years. I work from home, and have a relatively flexible schedule. That being said, my availability is largely after 3pm during the weekdays or mornings and afternoons on Saturdays, but I am able to drop in visits and walks during the day as well, schedule allowing! I typically care for pets in the pet parents home based on the pet parents guidelines. I like to ask pet parents as many questions as possible to make sure I try to maintain as close a routine as possible for the pet while they are in my care. This include walking and feeding schedules, how much playtime and what kind of playtime is allowed/encouraged, and any other specifics I should know about how to care for the pet (medication, where they sleep, how they interact with other dogs/pets, etc.)

Samantha M.
“Samantha took exceptional care of my two very different and very beloved fur babies: Little Miss, my 13 senior tuxedo cat, and Mocha, my high-energy 2-year-old Australian Kelpie. That alone should earn her a medal. She was incredibly gentle and patient with Little Miss, who isn’t always the easiest to please. At her age, she’s earned the right to be picky, but Samantha treated her with the calm, respectful attention she deserves — making sure she ate, stayed comfortable, and had plenty of quiet time (plus pets, of course, on Little Miss’s terms). At the same time, Samantha was a total pro at keeping up with Mocha’s energy. She didn’t just “manage” her — she engaged with her, giving her the physical and mental stimulation she craves. Mocha came back from walks happy, tired, and clearly happy after her walks with Sam. What impressed me most was how easily Sam was able to care for pet’s needs. She was responsible, communicative, and completely in tune with both of my girls. I came home to two calm, happy furbabies and that peace of mind is priceless. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares and knows what they’re doing, Samantha is it. I can’t recommend her enough!!”

Maxwell stayed with my huge dog for a week and, as usual, was incredible, reliable, communicative about everything, quick to respond, flexible, understanding, and most importantly, so very wonderful to my dog :) She stayed through a storm and I was able to not worry at all about him. 10/10

Natalie was AMAZING with our little Romeo. She was super communicative, great to work with, and very accommodating. We highly recommend her for your dogsitting needs and will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future.

We had Aiyesha stay in our home to watch our two kittens while we were away and we could not be more pleased. Great communication, very calm energy, and left our place sparkling clean. It means a lot of us to have found someone so wonderful that we can trust to watch our fuzzy family members. Thank you!

Mason was amazing with Bella (who is a high-energy, handful of a puppers)! She worked with Bella on commands (a godsend)! She was very communicative and took good care of my house as well. I would definitely book Mason in the future!

Rebecca was absolutely amazing! She took such loving care of our pups (and home!). We especially loved the daily updates and adorable photos - they gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Tosha was an absolute lifesaver! I had to find a sitter at the last minute, and she was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with from the start. she came by ahead of my trip to meet my two cats, and I could tell right away that she was great with them. While I was away, she sent updates and photos, and I had complete peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. I would 100% book with her again. highly recommend!

We are really pleased with how well it went with Stephanie watching our 2 dogs, Wally and Archer. Every day we received a picture and an update on how things were going. Stephanie took care of our home like it was her own. We were able to relax and enjoy our trip knowing that Stephanie could handle things at home. We will definitely use Stephanie again!

Kathryn is amazing! She came to be with my cat, Mel, while I went out. Mel is on palliative care and I didn't want to leave him alone. Mel immediately liked her. She has a warm, caring and calm demeanor and I knew she was the perfect person to be with him, especially if an emergent situation came up. He had a great day yesterday. I would 110% contact her again. Many thanks to Kathryn!

The dogs appeared to love their stay with Jalisa! She sent lots of photos and made everything smooth.

Danielle was just amazing! She was house sitting for us and took wonderful care of our 13-year-old dog and 2-year-old cat, giving them lots of love and attention while we were away. She kept us updated regularly, which allowed us to enjoy a worry-free vacation. I would definitely ask for her help on our next trip. Highly recommended!

We are happy and satisfied with the three days that Keka has been house-sitting our pawlove Hazel. Sure they had quality time playing around the house and outside during their walk. On top of that she got to provide Hazel with some Training that she needed. We appreciate so much the time she spent with our Hazel. We will surely recommend her to our other paw parent friends and surely it won't be the last for Keka & Hazel.

Laura was amazing and we could tell the pups were very happy and comfortable being with her. We will definitely be using Laura again in the future! Thank you

We are so grateful for Rhinesca and Julio. We were taking a very last minute and long trip, they were great with updates. Our dog is reactive and strong, they did an excellent job when meeting him for the first time and controlling him on walks. We'll definitely reach out again.

Austin took great care of our pets while we were gone and gave regular updates! 10/10 would recommend 😊

Hilary was so amazing with our cat, I have had a lot of anxiety due to previous experiences and she was so communicative with me and great with Spanky! The apartment was so clean when we came back, excited to have found someone I can trust with my cat and my home! Thank you Hilary!

Sarah was fantastic! She took care of my Archie for an extended time and executed flawlessly and with love.

We had a last minute need for a several day stay for our anxious dachshund/terrier. We were apprehensive about leaving him with someone we didn’t know. Virginia immediately removed those concerns. She did a meet and greet to get to know him and answer all of our questions with patience. She gave him his medicine after clarifying anything she was unsure of from our instructions. She was so attentive and incredible with him for all the time he was with her. Each day we received updates and multiple pictures of him outside playing and in the apartment and lounging after a long day. When we returned, he said hi and passed out after his own enjoyable vacation with Virginia!I

Elizah took amazing care of Mabel at our apartment while we were gone for a week. We were nervous because it was our first trip away from M but we got great pics and updates throughout our trip! Can’t say enough about someone like Elizah who cares for your pet and place like it is their own. Highly recommend and would book again!
