About: I grew up with dogs and multiple cats in the household (at one point we had 8 cats!), including dogs of all sizes (mutt, American Eskimo, German Shepherd) as well as 2 snakes, so I've pretty much spent my entire life taking care of animals, walking them, cleaning litter etc. I have been taking care of both dogs and cats on Rover for over a year now, and it has been a pleasure looking after them. For multi-pet households or visits spanning over 4 days, my husband may come along to the meet & greet. He also does pet sitting and has around 5 years of experience with dogs, cats, and turtles, as well as a special knack for figuring out where your fluffy friend likes to be scratched. This way, we can seamlessly support each other in case one of us has an unexpected schedule change, ensuring continuous, top-notch care for your furry family members. I have a flexible work-from-home job, so pet care fits quite easily into my day! I do go out of town from time to time, please check my calendar or message me for the most updated availability. I take my time to establish a relationship with your pet depending on their temperament, particularly if they are shy and/or reactive! It can take a lot of time for a shy cat to open up or a fearful dog to become more comfortable, but I believe experience, patience, and adapting to the pet's needs and preferences is key. I typically don't take boarding requests, but may consider them if your dog would like a playmate and gets along with my German Shepherd. Cats are not recommended.

“Nastasia was so patient with Dexter, very responsive and very flexible with our schedule. They have excellent communication and are super quick to respond, will for sure be booking them in the future!”

“Booked a week long dog walk with Sarah for my two dogs while I was out of town and was able to do a quick meet and greet beforehand. She had no issues taking out my two reactive dogs (1 large, 1 med) at the same time. Would definitely rebook again next time!”

About: Hi! My name is Rebecca, and I'm excited to combine my love for animals with providing exceptional pet care. I currently work as a project manager at a large healthcare company, where responsibility and attention to detail are key to my success. Growing up, I cared for three wonderful dogs and spent years looking after my neighbors' cats during middle school and college. These experiences taught me how to provide thoughtful, reliable care for pets of all types and personalities. When you hire me, you can rest assured that your furry family member is in capable, caring hands. I’m committed to making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. For in-house sitting, I do ask for some flexibility in my schedule—while I’ll spend quality time with your pet, I may need to step out for a few hours during the day. I’m also not able to take on pets with aggressive behavior or destructive tendencies, as I want to ensure a safe, low-stress experience for everyone involved. Thank you for considering me as your pet sitter—I can’t wait to meet you and your beloved pets! Pet care is an integral part of my routine. I prioritize creating a consistent schedule to ensure pets feel secure and well cared for, whether that’s feeding them, going for walks, or spending time playing and bonding. I easily incorporate it into my day, balancing it with my other responsibilities while ensuring each pet gets the attention they need. In my client's home, I follow their preferred routines, including feeding schedules, medication administration if needed, and maintaining their pet’s daily habits like walks or playtime. I ensure their space is kept clean and safe, and I take care to leave their home as they left it. If caring for pets in my own home, I create a welcoming environment with a safe, cozy area for rest and engaging spaces for play, ensuring they feel right at home.

“Missy has been walking my dog for about half a year now. She has been more than wonderful. My dog is not an easy dog. She's also very skittish around new people. Missy was able to work with her and transitioned well. Now my dog gets excited and happy every time she sees her. Missy is very attentive and follow instructions very well. She asked questions about my dog and was interested in getting to know her and care for her right. I believe her experience in working at shelters is an asset and help her in understanding dogs behavior and making them feel comfortable and cared for. She's also very on time, reliable, and responsible. All in all, I can't recommend her enough. She's just awesome!”

“Sophia did an excellent job walking Stokely. She was prompt. She shared pictures. He was excited to see her when she arrived. He was definitely in great hands when he was with her. I would love to have her walk Stokely again!!”

Kristine F.
“Kristine is one of the best dogsitters we have ever had! We adore our dogs and we know they are in caring hands when we leave them with her. She sends us multiple photos and videos each day and gives them lots of walks and hugs. She will follow any instruction~ for example, we were having a hard time getting one of our dogs to eat at one point and we were having to sit down on the floor with them and spoon feed them! We felt funny asking her to do this, but she totally obliged. She has experience giving medication to animals and taking care of geriatric and disabled animals. The best testimonial is this one from our dogs ~ when she comes over they are so excited they both get the zoomies, even our 12 year old poodle! They know that it is playtime and she is going to smother them with affection and attention. I couldn’t recommend Kristine more highly!”
