About: For about four years, I cared for Rashmi, a sweet dog who truly became part of the family. She loved car rides and would always run excitedly to the car whenever we were going somewhere. Whenever her family knew she’d be alone, we’d spend time with her to keep her company and make sure she was happy and doing well. I also helped with her medication, strict diet, bathroom routine, and made sure to watch for any signs of stress or discomfort. She was such a special furry friend to care for, and even though she lives farther I still love getting updates about her! I work from home, so my schedule is fairly flexible. I’m able to make time throughout the day for walks, playtime, and keeping pets company. I also enjoy going to parks, so I’m happy to include pets in my daily routine when appropriate. I’m comfortable with overnight stays and boarding in my home as well. I understand how it feels to leave your pet with someone else, so I make it a priority to keep them comfortable, happy, and cared for while also providing regular updates and photos so you know how they’re doing. I always make sure to ask the owner about any special instructions, routines, dietary needs, or medications before caring for their pet so I can properly accommodate their needs. In my home, I make sure anything that could be harmful or unsafe is kept out of reach and that they have a comfortable, welcoming environment. I also like to learn their favorite treats, toys, and routines so they can feel as comfortable as possible. While caring for them, I pay attention to their behavior, eating, drinking, and bathroom habits. If I notice anything unusual or concerning, I make sure to communicate it to the owner right away. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me.

About: I’ve had my two cats for about three years now, and we’ve built a routine together around feeding, playing, sleeping, and everything in between. Every day when I walk through the door, they’re the first two to greet me. I make sure they’re always fed, clean, hydrated, well cared for, and most importantly, safe. I work full time during the week, so I’m generally unavailable during the day, but I’m usually free in the evenings after work and have full availability on weekends. I live in a two-bedroom, ground-floor apartment with a private, enclosed patio where my cats can safely explore outdoors without the risk of escaping. We also have an extra bedroom set up so they have their own space and time when they want it.

We had a friend who was going to watch our 1 year old puppy cancel on us about four days before we were leaving for our wedding, and we were nervous about leaving him at a pet hotel so we gave Rover a try and booked with Omar for a stay. He was very fast in responding, and even though I didn’t have time to do a formal meet, we had a call to go over our Teddy’s routine. He was so attentive and asked detailed questions, and when the day came we arranged for a pickup. He sent pictures and videos of Teddy every day, socialized him with another dog who was also staying with him, and even showed us a new way to walk Teddy with less pulling. By the time Teddy came back he was almost sad to part with Omar! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, attentive and fun sitter for your fur baby!

I had to travel for work right after my dog had a scary medical crisis. She wasn't fully recovered, she had some complicated medication instructions, and I was a nervous wreck. Not the best conditions for a stay with a new dog sitter! But Nathalie was wonderful. She is very kind and knowledgeable about dogs. She kept me updated on how Maple was doing, figured out creative ways to get her to take her meds, and checked in with me to make sure I was ok with everything. I came home to a recovered and happy (though sad to leave Nathalie's house) dog.
Maria was excellent with my 8 month old Georgina. She pays attention to detail and treated my pup as if it were her own. Took her to the dog parks and Maria sent me so many photos/videos. Daisy was amazing! I had to call her last minute to pick up Enzo, and she was so accommodating. Enzo had such a great time, and I could tell he was very well taken care of when I picked him up. Esther did an amazing job taking care of my senior diabetic cat. I was a nervous wreck leaving him, but Esther knew what she was doing, was communicative, and gave me plenty of updates. Mahmuda and her family were very warm and loving to my kitties.! These cats were TOO comfortable in her house, and did not want to come home!
