I provide regular photo updates, respond quickly throughout the day, and make sure you always feel at ease while you’re away. My goal isn’t just to “watch” your pet—it’s to create a nurturing, cozy, and safe experience that feels like a second home. I’m currently on sabbatical after completing 10 years with my company, which means I have a wonderfully flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet my full attention. Caring for animals is something that genuinely brings me joy, so it fits naturally into my daily rhythm. I love starting my mornings with a peaceful walk through the large park near my apartment, and I often take a second mid-day walk to stay active. If your pet loves exploring or needs extra exercise, they’re more than welcome to join me! I also have a car, so I’m able to transport pets safely if they need to visit a vet, try a different park, or simply enjoy a change of scenery. Because I’m home most of the day, I’m able to provide consistent companionship, playtime, and supervision. I’m intentional about creating a calm, cozy environment and making sure each pet feels included in my everyday routine. I provide a warm, calm, and nurturing home where pets can feel safe and loved. I live in a cozy 1-bedroom apartment with a pet-friendly setup—cats are welcome on all furniture, and I have scratchers, toys, and comfy lounging spots throughout the space. My balcony is fully netted for safety, and I’m only a short walk from a large park, which is perfect for fresh air and enrichment. I currently have one sweet 11-year-old cat who is gentle and used to having other animals around. I’ve cared for her since she was 3 months old, and I also have experience fostering animals—including caring for kittens as young as 4 weeks old—so I’m very comfortable with cats of all ages and personalities. My care style is very warm and hands-on: lots of snuggles, couch time, play sessions, and following the routines that make your pet feel at home. I’m attentive to their body language and habits and always prioritize their comfort and emotional well-being. Safety is a top priority. I keep doors secure, monitor interactions carefully, and have an apartment camera that allows me to check in on pets if I step out briefly. I maintain a clean, clutter-free environment and am mindful about introductions and transitions. For trust and communication, I send regular photo and video updates so you always know your pet is happy and relaxed. I’m very responsive throughout the day—my only downtime is between 10pm–7am, but otherwise you can expect quick replies. My goal is to create a loving, stable, and safe home where your pet feels truly cared for. If you have any specific routines, accommodations, or preferences, I’m more than happy to follow them closely.

“Yvonne was great with our dog Chopper. We couldn't take him with us for the holidays and after a desperate search for the right match, we chose to board him with Yvonne. We were quite anxious to leave him behind for a week but from the start Yvonne was very accommodating, reassuring and great at communicating before and during boarding plus she patiently guided us through our first experience with Rover. Yvonne's house is very clean, spacious and has an awesome enclosed yard and safe neighborhood for walks.
