“I can’t even begin to explain Christina’s attention to detail and “awesomeness”. She took great care of my doggie, making sure she took her prescription meds which included eye medications. I was kept informed about everything on every visit. Most of all Bailey loved her! I will definitely request her services again.”

“Michele is such a wonderful cat mom! Both of my kitties love her. She goes above and beyond to care for them and my plants and other things when needed. My kitties will be excited to see her again in the future”

About: Hi there! I’ve been surrounded by furry friends my whole life — my childhood dog was born when I was just 7 and was with me until he crossed the rainbow bridge at his old age of 15. Growing up with him (and caring for him as a senior with disabilities) taught me so much about patience, love, and the special bond we share with our pets. I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all ages — from bouncy puppies and playful kittens to wise old souls — and I truly love getting to know each animal’s unique personality. These days, I have a one year old kitty keeping me on my toes and making life extra fun! Whether your pet is shy, silly, sassy, or snuggly, I’ll make sure they feel right at home, loved, and cared for every step of the way. I am currently full time on Rover and will have lots of time to care for your beautiful pets! Please see regular booking schedule for further details :) I have a fenced yard and an indoor cat that lives with me. Toys and treats are provided if needed, and multiple pet beds are set around the house for comfort. A gate can be put in place if your dog prefers alone time away from others! I have my own car and drivers license if necessary for commute and transportation. For walks, if needed, I also have a medium and large dog stroller to accommodate dogs with disabilities as well. Play time with your fur babies will always consist of enriching activities with toys and more according to their needs! Car rides, and potty time are also available as well! Smoke-free home and vehicle.

“I would highly recommend Zhengjun when considering someone to take care of your pet. Zhengjun stepped up and took over for my original sitter when that arrangement didn’t work out properly. Without Zhengjun’s assistance we would have been in a real predicament. So thank you Zhengjun for stepping up and saving the day!!”

“Thanks for taking care of Purrie and Mango when we were out for the weekend. Stacey went above and beyond, feeding and playing with our cats. This was our first time for drop in visits and she made sure that we were comfortable. We will definitely repeat.”

About: After a few years away working as an engineer, I’ve realized my true passion isn’t in front of a computer, it’s with dogs! I was a top-rated, 5-star sitter in Fremont back in 2016-2017 with 38 repeat clients, and I am so excited to officially reopen my doors to the furry community. With over 20 years of experience living with and caring for dogs, I provide a "home away from home" where your pup is treated like family. 🐾 Important Note: To ensure a safe, comfortable, and manageable environment for our resident dogs and guests, I strictly only accept dogs under 40 lbs. Meet the Resident Pack I am a proud "dog mom" to two friendly pups who love making new friends: Kaka: My sweet 11-year-old rescue French bulldog and poodle mix (13 lbs). He has a crippled leg, so I am very experienced in caring for seniors or dogs with special physical needs. Panda: My energetic 5-year-old Bernedoodle. He’s a "pandemic puppy" who is well-socialized and ready to play! The "Five-Star" Backyard & Home Your dog will have the ultimate vacation in our 4,000 square foot home. We have plenty of indoor space for lounging and a large, fully fenced backyard for fresh air and supervised playtime. Personalized Care & Activity Consistent Supervision: My husband and I both work hybrid schedules and take turns working from home. This means one of us is home the vast majority of the time to provide cuddles, bathroom breaks, and attentive care. Active Lifestyle: We love staying active! Your pup will enjoy frequent walks and plenty of engagement. Safety First: Because of my engineering background, I am detail-oriented and highly organized when it comes to feeding schedules and safety protocols. I can’t wait to meet your pup and give them a fun, safe, and loving stay! Our routine is highly flexible! Whether your pup is a high-energy "pandemic dog" like my Panda or a senior who needs a gentler pace like my 13lb rescue, Kaka, I easily adjust walk lengths and play styles to match their specific energy and physical abilities. A Day in the Life at Our Home Because we work a hybrid schedule, pet care is seamlessly integrated into our day. Your dog will never be just a "task"—they are part of the family. • 8:30 AM | Morning Adventure: We kick off the day with a morning walk, followed by a nutritious brunch. • Mid-Day | Garden Play: Around noon, I provide supervised "yard breaks" in our large, fenced backyard for fresh air and sniffing. • Late Afternoon | Neighborhood Stroll: We head out for a second neighborhood walk, followed by dinner service. • Evening | Last Call: Before bedtime, we have one final backyard break to ensure everyone is settled and comfortable. Total Freedom: Your dog has the run of the house! They are welcome in any of the 4,000 sq. ft. of indoor space. Whether they want to sunbathe by a window or snooze near my desk while I work, they will have plenty of room to feel at home. Safety-First, Premium Care Your pet’s safety and comfort are my absolute priorities. I provide a secure, high-standard environment designed for total peace of mind. • Supervised Freedom: Your dog has full access to our 4,000 sq. ft. home and a large, securely fenced backyard. I personally supervise all outdoor time to ensure every guest is safe and happy. • Proactive Security: For added protection, I have security cameras monitoring the property and dog gates that can be installed as needed to create separate, safe zones for different energy levels. • Constant Companionship: Because we work a hybrid schedule, there is almost always an adult present. This allows for frequent check-ins, bathroom breaks, and 24/7 attention. • Disciplined Care: I am highly attentive to feeding schedules, medication, and specific care instructions. Whether it's managing a senior dog’s mobility (like my rescue, Kaka) or a high-energy pup’s needs, I follow your instructions to the letter.
About: I have grown up around animals my whole life, including caring for cats and dogs. I’ve helped care for family dogs and raised my own cat, Salem, since he was a kitten. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, playtime, cleaning, giving attention, and creating a safe and comfortable environment for pets. I treat every animal with the same patience, love, and care I give my own. I am currently home for the summer with a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. I can provide regular check-ins, playtime, feeding routines, and companionship while making sure each pet feels comfortable and cared for. I prioritize safety, patience, and creating a comfortable environment for every pet I care for. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, respect their home and routines, and provide updates so owners feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and receiving loving care.
“Chris was amazing with our puppy August! He even took him on a walk with his doggo so he could practice pack walking, as well as other manners and obedience training during the walk. August thoroughly enjoyed his time with Chris and was able to take a good long nap afterward. August is already looking forward to his nest outing with Chris, thanks!”

About: We love dogs, we have one our selves, she is a small Chihuahua-Terrier mix. She can be a little mean at first but only after a couple minutes she can really warm up to you. In fact, if she ever sees you or your dog she'll happily greet you with licks and tail wags. As for us we are a family of three, with me, my husband and 12 year old son! Our son really knows a lot about dogs, he loves them! We often like to go on walks everyday! Well at least if it's not raining. We like to go to the park on the weekends, so let your dog stay with us while you go out or go on a vacation or a work trip! Since 2020, when the pandemic started, my husband has been telecommuting from his work so he stays with and takes care of the dogs while I am away at work or our son is at school. You can be sure there is always someone at our home watching over your dog. Our dogs get to spend time in the family room, kitchen and nook, which has access to the sliding door that takes them to the backyard
About: Hey there! I just wanted to share that I've been taking care of dogs and cats for more than five years now. I've been doing it for my family and friends, and I absolutely love it! That's why I thought of offering my services to you. I've had the pleasure of having four dogs and three cats as my own pets. So, I'm confident that I can take good care of your furry pals too! I am able to provide pet-sitting services on any day of the week, as I am a part-time worker and a student. To ensure that I am able to spend time with my family, it is easier for me to care for your pet at my residence. Family time is of great importance to me, and this arrangement enables me to balance my responsibilities effectively. I'm lucky to live in an apartment with a lovely balcony that's fully enclosed. It's the perfect spot for my furry friends, as it can comfortably fit up to three cats or dogs. Our apartment is also quite spacious, and we've set it up to cater to the needs of our beloved pets.

About: I’ve cared for animals for many years and have experience with pets of all kinds. I raised and cared for my own Border Collie for 6 years, so I’m very familiar with the exercise, attention, and mental stimulation that active and high-energy dogs need. I also cared for someone else’s cat for about a year and understand how important it is to respect each pet’s individual personality and routine. Beyond dogs and cats, I’ve also cared for turtles, rabbits, parrots, and hamsters over the years. Having experience with so many different animals has taught me to be patient, attentive, and observant of their different needs and behaviors. I’ll treat your pet with the same care I’d give my own, follow your instructions closely, and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages while you’re away! I’m available on weekdays from 6–11 AM and after 8 PM, which works well for morning walks, drop-in visits, feeding, and evening care. My weekends are flexible, so I can usually accommodate different schedules and longer visits. I’m happy to coordinate around your pet’s normal routine whenever possible. About: have always had a strong passion for animal care and have gained hands-on experience through caring for cats and other animals in a home environment. Growing up with cats and dogs has taught me the importance of responsibility, patience, and providing consistent care to ensure their health and well-being. I treat every animal, including stray animals, with the same compassion and attention I would provide to my own pets. My experience includes maintaining fresh water supplies, monitoring food levels, providing enrichment through playtime, and creating a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that supports both their physical and emotional needs. Pet care is part of my daily routine through maintaining feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning, exercise, playtime, and ensuring my pets stay healthy and happy. I care for pets by providing exercise, attention, fresh water, meals, and a safe environment. My two dogs enjoy a fenced backyard and cozy indoor sleeping area
About: Hi! I’m Ming, a professional pet groomer with about five years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I understand how important it is to create a calm, relaxing, and safe environment, especially for pets who may feel stressed or anxious when their humans are away. I’m confident handling energetic pups, seniors, and those who need extra patience and reassurance. I’ll make sure your pets feel as comfortable as they would at home. I’m also a dog mom to a four-year-old, high-energy Husky mix, so I truly understand daily routines, exercise needs, and the importance of both physical and mental stimulation for happy pups. I currently work part-time at a grooming salon, and on my days off I study for an online degree at home. This allows me to dedicate at least 5 hours a day to caring for my own dog and my Rover clients. Your pup will receive plenty of attention, love, and companionship. I can provide frequent potty breaks and several short walks if needed. Walks and play sessions are often the highlight of their day and I make sure each pup gets the activity levels based that suits their age, energy, and health. I keep potentially dangerous items (mainly human food and small objects) out of reach. I can also provide mini fun grooming sessions if needed. Dogs are usually walked twice a day, once in the early morning and once before sunset. Feeding is typically twice daily after walks, but I’m happy to adjust to your pup’s routine. I have a fenced yard for safe outdoor time and frequent potty breaks, and I live next to a school field where dogs can enjoy peaceful walks without car traveling. I also occasionally take dogs to a nearby dog park for social exposure. During hot weather, pups can relax in an AC room with a comfy couch. Every dog is unique, and I’m always happy to customize care to meet your pup’s specific needs and routine. My partner, Vico, is currently in his veterinary clinical rotation and will be rejoining our family soon, adding even more animal-care experience and support. I walk the pups twice a day, one in early morning and another before the sun sets. Our feeding schedule is twice a day usually after the walk, but I'm flexible with any adjustments. I’m mostly home and my family can help take care of the pups when I work. I have a fenced yard that's big enough for the energetic pups to run around and provide frequent potty breaks if needed. I live right next to a school field where I can walk them without driving them around. We have a separate room with a nice couch and AC when the weather tends to get a little too hot during noon. I also bring the pups to a nearby dog park sometimes so they can have social exposures. Dogs that stays over a week gets a free bath upon request.

About: I’ve cared for my 2 big babies for about 8 years now. At first I had only one dog, then she got pregnant and I helped deliver all her babies at home. Savannah was amazing! She took wonderful care of my 2 cats; playing with them, sending great photos, and just being a very responsible, communicative & totally trustworthy pet sitter. She was very loving with the kittos, and great to have to keep an eye on the house too!!

Kaylee is awesome!! I have a cat that’s very skeptical/scared of people and have gone through several pet sitters because of him. Kaylee has done a great job making sure he’s comfortable and doesn’t push his boundaries. Great communication and even takes care of my needy plant :) highly recommend

nikisha was very responsive before visits & the meet and greet was a perfect opportunity to warm luna up to her. I loved that nikisha was very communicative & responsible during her visits. i also appreciated the videos and pictures of luna & informative reports she left.

This was second time Sasha took wonderful care of Luna while we were away. She followed all instructions carefully, kept us updated, and regularly shared photos, which gave us great peace of mind. Even when she had a sudden emergency, she communicated right away and still made sure Luna was taken care of — something we really appreciated. Sasha is responsible, thoughtful, and we always feel relaxed knowing Luna is in her care. We would happily trust her again and highly recommend her!

Delaina was wonderful with our Cheese and I so appreciate her helping us out over the holidays! He is our baby and she treated him accordingly, loving him like we do and attending to his every need. Chinchillas are little divas and she was so good with him and gave us such peace of mind, thank you!

Sumaira took such good care of my cat, tortoise, and chicken. She sent great pictures and they all looked happy. Appreciated her attention to detail and letting me know a light had burned out. Timely daily feeding and visits! Will definitely ask Sumaira to take care of my zoo again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
