About: I have experience working with small to xl dogs, young to old. I have been caring for pets for 6 years, 1 of which I was also working in boarding at an animal hospital and gained experience administering medication. I have spent a lot of time with socially anxious and separation anxiety dogs and learned a lot about patience with their needs. For the past year and a half, I worked at a dog board and train facility where I spent my time taking care of a variety of breeds and temperaments including aggression and resource guarding. I have the most experience with high energy breeds including German Shepard Dogs and Belgian Malignois. I am confident in my dog handling skills and behavioral challenges that come my way. I am a full time college student so most of my time is filled with classes. A few days a week I am done early so I will have time to care for your pet and love them just as you would. I do not provide in home care. In your home I would love to play with your fur baby and spend time with them while you’re away. I can tailor to your needs to make sure your pet has their needs met.

“Cody was amazing with our two dogs, Tessie and Rosie. She made sure they were walked and okayed with and went to the bathroom…not easy with one of our two! She took a lot of photos and I can tell my dogs had so much fun with her. We will definitely want Cody to care for our pups again!”

“More than amazing! She was always there to take care of the pups! Completely understanding the needs and the job, very professional/reasonable. I haven’t been able to leave my 3 dogs in some time, but now we have someone to count on and trust. Thank you for being great and there for our fur babies.”

I know how to handle any size dog and have someone nearby to contact for help in any medical emergency that is beyond my scope of knowledge. I am currently a college student and travel between Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine throughout the summer. I will be able to stay in the place closest to the pets and travel to different states when needed I will be respectful of your house and animals, I can take them for walks or just let them out of the house if that it what they are used to. I will make sure they are in my sight and I know they are okay at all times while I am there. I understand how scary it can be to leave your home and pets as I have done so myself, I will make sure to send pictures and follow any type of house rules you may have in place to make it as easy as possible.

About: I'm currently a Pre-Veterinary student at University of New Hampshire and currently work at a local veterinary clinic. As a veterinary assistant I have gained experience with animal handling and care. I am also Fear Free Certified and know had to adequately prevent fear, anxiety, and stress in both cats and dogs. I have previously worked at a training facility and am familiar with certain signals and behaviors that animals demonstrate to express themselves. I have owned cats and dogs my entire life and have been exposed to many types of breeds, species, and seen interesting cases regarding animal health. When I'm not at school I take care of my two dogs and cats at home. Furthermore, I work part-time at a veterinary clinic at school and at home so I am constantly surrounded by animals and have exposure to many cases. I previously owned a diabetic cat and learned how to administer insulin shots and monitor her glucose levels multiple times a day. I feed and water my animals in my home at least twice a day, snacks are often provided as well. I walk my dogs as much as necessary (typically twice a day). I always play with my cats and dogs. I have a kitten who loves playing fetch with toy mice and a 5 year old dog who enjoys hiking trips and swimming. The two dogs get groomed when needed but I brush them consistently in between grooms. Finally, I am responsible when it comes to my animals' health and notice any changes in behavior or appearance almost immediately. I find it important to keep them up to date with vaccines and any other medications they need.

About: I have taken animal science classes for past 4 years and previously worked at doggy daycare and boarding facilities. I am also proficient on administering many specialized medications such as insulin and heart meds. I have been taking care of pets since I was 12 years old and have worked with all types of dogs from Chihuahua puppies to senior Great Danes. I am currently working part time, usually from home while going into the office a few days a week. I would be free to visit any pups all throughout the day on most weekdays, usually Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, as well as the weekend. I always ensure that whatever animal I am taking care of is comfortable and feels that they are in a safe environment as well as others around them. Being with people other than their parents can be a stressful situation for some pets and I work to make that encounter as stress free as possible.

In the summers and during breaks, I am pretty open and flexible!! During the school year, I am available most weekends and after 4 PM! I try to match the energy of the pets I am sitting. Taking them on long walks, giving them extra pets, and playing with their favorite toy with them. I try my best to keep my animals mentally stimulated.

Dale did a great job with Luna in building a relationship with her and playing with her. She was right on top of things when my cat Kashi suddenly had a seizure for the first time. She contacted me right away after staying with Kashi until the seizure ended. We’re very happy to have Dale take care of our pets.
