About: I have over 20 years of combined experience caring for both cats and dogs of many different ages, with some specific skills around training reinforcement for dogs. Growing up, I cared for my own cat as well as cats and dogs in the neighborhood. As an adult, I have cared for both cats and dogs and done extended house-sits for clients and friends with cats. I have my own dog, named Billie, who is an 8-year-old german shepherd/lab mix. I love animals of all kinds, and love to get to know animals and help them feel safe, cared for, and joyful/playful. I am an MSW graduate student and working part-time, and have a good deal of flexibility in my schedule. I have availability throughout the day for drop-in visits and walks, and morning/ weekend/ nighttime availability as well. My home has a fenced-in yard and is very safe and comfortable for dogs. I am conscientious and clean when spending time in the homes of clients. I will take great care of your home in addition to your animal companion!

About: I love all kinds of pets, and can get along with all pet personalities. I care for two cats and have experience with small to medium-large sized dogs. I do well with animals that are used to routine, including senior pets. I work part-time on commission so my schedule is flexible to accommodate any kinds of pet care. As an active person, walking pets or entertaining them inside the house is one of my favorite parts of pet care. Your pet knows your home best, and I work best when pets are as relaxed as possible. Always attentive to your pet 's needs and always keeping a watchful eye on them.

About: I’ve been an animal lover since a kid, and am excited to care for your pet! I’m a grad student in MD and am a proud pet parent of 2 Yorkie-mix dogs. I have experience with pet feeding, long walks, and fun playtime. I’m also comfortable administering medications and caring for dogs of all sizes. My husband and I are fairly flexible, and I often work from home. We have a large backyard where your dog(s) can safely play and enjoy the outdoors. I’m a grad student who has a very flexible schedule. I walk the dogs around 7:30am, brush their teeth, and set out their food. I also go on midday walks so they are mentally and physically stimulated. My husband takes the dogs out for long walks in the evenings as well. We are happy to include your pets into this schedule or add any additional care into this routine per your request and/or according to your pet’s needs. I have a large yard and 2 lovable pups that can keep your dog(s) company. We go on frequent walks and bathroom breaks around our quiet neighborhood and have tons of play space around the house. I am happy to honor any requests to care for one family’s pets at a time, and will absolutely treat your pet(s) as if they were my own.

About: I grew up with a big family that loves animals and we had 13 pets at one point in our lives. I'm a such cat and dog lover that I'd treat any of them as if they were my own. I'm really flexible and easygoing, so I'd have no problem following with what you'd like me to do! I'm very open to take care of senior and disabled pets too! I will be happy to take your pets out for walk, feed them, and/or play with them and keep them company while you're busy. I would be happy to send you plenty of pictures/videos if you'd like :) I have unique working hours as I teach at a university and have some odd jobs. I have a lot of flexibility in scheduling, so it’s likely that I can help out while you’re at work. I’m currently teaching college courses, which means there are a lot of flexibility in my schedule. I also do therapy on side. I can check on your pets in the mornings, afternoons or evenings. I have three cats that I love dearly, so I will definitely care for your pets the way I care about mine. As my profile mentioned that I grew up having cats and dogs all my life. My first word other than ‘mom’ or ‘dad’ was cat!

About: I have had pets all my life and love spending time with them. Whether your pet is one who needs lots of attention and play time or is a couch potato and cuddler, I'm the sitter for you! If your fur baby is highly active, I can take them for long trail walks or visits to a park to play fetch and if that doesn't sound like your pet, we can do short walks just to get the blood flowing and answer nature's call. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and those with arthritis and mobility issues. I have had great success in helping these dogs improve their comfort through daily, short, walks that we would gradually increased as they regained their strength and energy from this physical activity. I'm currently between jobs so I have plenty of time to care for your little friends. I'm available any day of the week, so reach out ahead of time and let's get you scheduled! :) My apartment complex is fully gated and if your dog wants to run off-leash we have a very large, gated dog park as well! The dog park is so large that it can be sectioned off into two separate parks to accommodate pets that are anxious around, or don't get along well with, other dogs!

“Laura was a fantastic help when we needed someone to walk our dog! She was communicative, reliable, and truly cared about our dog. It gave us such peace of mind knowing our dog was in good hands. I couldn’t recommend her enough!”

About: I believe that every child should grow up with the unconditional love of a pet. We rescued our first to grow up with our adult daughter and our newest addition has grown up with my teenage daughter. Their dogs have ultimately become my dogs because I secretly enjoy their company ☺️ Like Many, Working from home had become the normal and now that many of you are returning to in person work schedules I've decided to care for fur babies that have grown accustomed to the warmth and undivided attention of their companions. I'm free most weekdays. And after drop offs my Koby 🐶 and I go on walks in the neighborhood. And we venture the school's neighborhood at pickup. So in between your pet can be as lazy or as active as he, she or they wants. I have a large fenced back yard for playing and a huge front and back porch for lounging. Our home provides open space and cozy spaces for relaxing.

About: Love dogs and they love me! I've gone to dog parks before and had other people's dogs jump onto my lap! Genuinely enjoy being with and taking care of all the dogs. I have an odd schedule and will be available for 3-4 days at a time in a row. Will need to check my calendar for actual availability. Meet them where they want me to. Some dogs are territorial or take a while to warm up to you so I don't rush things. “Skyler took my adolescent male Pit bill pup out for walks for about a month & a half, twice a week; I stopped because I decided to take my pup to doggy daycare instead during the fall & winter. Skyler was respectful and mature ever since our meet & greet and during our communications, and were receptive to feedback. I appreciated that they had experience raising pit bulls since mine is an adolescent pit and we were working through some training/behavioral issues during Skyler’s time with us. Sky didn’t always complete the Rover card timely likely since they were new to using the app; and on a couple of occasions were late for pick up due to bus or work and didn’t text to notify me, which would have been appreciated since I had to buzz them into my apt complex during my lunch break. All in all a good experience and I’d recommend Sky as a Rover and plan to reach out if I need pup assistance in the future. Thanks, Sky!”
