Dog Walkers in Edmonton

About: Like many others, I’ve had pets(dogs and cats) all my life. I grew up on an acreage and dogs and cats would just show up and eventually we would just adopt them into our family. I’ve taken care of my family dogs from puppy stage to the day they passed. My brother works full time and I babysit his two dogs often. They are high energy and I love walking them and playing with them until they’re tired! I already make time for daily walks and fresh air, so pet care blends easily into my week. Between studying and working part time, I keep a flexible but organized schedule that allows me to commit to regular walks. I’m not looking to rush through them — I genuinely enjoy being outside, and having a dog join me is a natural fit. For walks and drop-in visits, I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their usual routine as closely as possible. Walks are structured but enjoyable, with attention to safety and energy levels. During drop-ins, I refresh water, handle feedings if needed, and spend quality time with them. I treat clients’ homes with care and always send updates so owners know how their pet is doing.

About: I’ve always been around pets (despite being allergic, cats especially have always been drawn to me) so I have plenty of experience interacting with and looking after animals of varying temperaments, ages, activity levels, personalities, and needs. I grew up with a bichon shih-tzu named Dewey and I currently have a very sweet black cat named Styx that I adopted in January 2023! I’m currently a full-time student pursuing a career in psychiatric nursing - I have about a year left in my program so over the summer when I am not taking classes, my schedule is much more flexible; from September till the end of May I am available mainly on weekends and evenings but it really depends on my schedule! I will always try my best to accommodate and help out as much as I can :) I am definitely someone that understands that trust is built over time! I will always give your pets the same love and care as I would my own - I know how hard it can be for both pets and owners when you have to spend time away from them.

About: Hi! My name is Marwa. I was born in Quebec and recently moved to Edmonton, and one of the first things I wanted to do here was connect with pets and their families. I’ve had the joy of working with animals through shelters like the SPCA and the Edmonton Humane Society, and I’ve also rescued animals during my travels abroad from helping hurt cats in Europe to caring for strays wherever I go. No matter where I am in the world, if I see an animal in need, I step in to help. I truly love every kind of animal. I’m even the type of person who carefully carries a spider outside instead of harming it. My dream, if I ever became rich, would be to open a shelter just for animals, especially cats, because they deserve safe and loving homes. Right now, I’m studying online from home, which means I have a very flexible schedule and spend most of my time at home. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, care, and company throughout the day. With me, your pets will be treated like family with patience, kindness, and lots of love. About: I have experience looking after my family dog and helping raise my sister’s puppy. I have done pet sitting for friends as well. I’m not an expert at animal care, but will follow all directions and respect your pet at all times. My focus is to keep your pet happy while you are away. I love taking dogs for walks and will always clean up after them. I am a full time professional wrestlers, so my weekends are almost always busy, but that leaves my weekdays completely free and flexible most weeks. I am able to do drop ins on the day or scheduled, reoccurring visits. I will respect your pets and your home at all times. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priority! I am very clean and will make sure everything is left how I found it. I will follow all directions and rules given to me.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, fish, gerbils, and chickens so I have a lot of experience with a wide variety of animal care. My parents believed that kids should be responsible for their pets and always included us in pet care and taught us how to take care of our pets. We also adopted rescue dogs and cats, and my two cats (currently) are rescues, so I have a lot of experience with the varying behaviours of rescue animals, and how to care for them accordingly. I am comfortable giving pets their medication, whether its a pill or liquid, and have taken care of several senior dogs in my extended family. I love learning about pet behaviour and often spend my free time watching pet behaviour experts dissecting different pet behaviours. I am a recent graduate and unemployed so your babies would be my priority! I also have a vehicle and love adventures, which I would be more than happy to bring your pet with me if that is something you would feel comfortable with. I prioritize a pet's comfort, which is why I care for pets in their own homes because it is an environment they are comfortable with. I am well-versed in pet body language and ensure pets feel they have autonomy.

About: Everyone in my family has owned dogs and I often take them out for walks and feed them while they’re away on vacation or work! I’ve been around the most hyper of dogs and senior dogs who walk at a slow pace. I’m experienced in cleaning up after dogs and reading body language if anything were to occur! I’m quite active and adore dogs of all shapes and sizes though I’m quite small so smaller dogs are preferred! I’m most experienced in casual walks as I’m walking quite often walking in the mornings anyways! I’m currently working as a line cook downtown in the evenings, I am not currently in school so I’m able to take care of dogs anytime in the morning! Able to come and pick up dogs anywhere! Perfect for anyone busy with work in the mornings! I am often downtown for walks anyways and quite active overall! I am not able to care for dogs at my home or look after them at their own home. Though I able to pick up dogs at their home upon request! Depending on the situation! 😊👍

About: I grew up with dogs, I have the knowledge of knowing the care it takes to ensure they are happy and healthy. I have learned how to tell when a dog is stressed and needs space and time due to my sister owning and running a dog rescue. You can feel assured your puppers is safe with me. I am not currently working, so all my hours would be dedicated to the care of your furry loved ones whether walking, playing or cuddling I am the sitter for you! A pets safety is always my first concern. As a pet owner myself I run by a certain set of standards to ensure any and all pets are safe around me and the environment we are in.

About: I've been taking care of dogs most of my life. I have experience caring for all sorts of dogs of any age. I do have a 1 year old pet beagle girl named Macy. She's very kind and loves people and dogs alike. I live in a 3 bedroom house with my partner. It has a fenced yard in a safe south side neighbourhood by Ellerslie Rd and is a few steps away from a park. I can walk, feed, bathe, and host overnight boarding. I love dogs and that translates to happy dog experiences! I have a flexible work schedule, so I am able to easily fit your busy lifestyle. I have an open availability in the spring/summer and in the fall/winter I work part time. I love going for long walks daily throughout my neighbourhood. I have two baby gates that prevent dogs from leaving the living room. I have other rooms, including a finished basement, that can be used to separate dogs who don't get along with each other. I have a variety of treats and toys.
