About: Ive been working with all sorts of animals all my life, I'm very enthusiastic about any work that involves them. I have years of experience in many different animals, including reptiles. Animals have a natural gravitation towards me and I'm very patient and loving with any and all animals no matter how much attitude they can give. Dogs require a firm yet gentle soul to care for them and I believe that I provide just that. Any time I get to spend with animals is time well spent! My daily life is taking care and managing animals at home; I love waking up with a purpose of aiding and spending time with these cute little creatures I'd care for your animals if your home; mine has multiple cats with different personalities so its best to keep them separate from others. Any thing I can do to provide them with comfort and happiness is my main goal.
“Niki took my dog for walks while I could not due to doctor’s orders. Fred got so excited whenever she came to pick him up! She is prompt and very pleasant and I would definitely recommend her.”

“Bonnie was reliable and pups liked her. She showed up on time even with the struggle to find parking due to the snow clearing. I do wish when she took more than a picture of 1/2 our dogs head or butt to send to us.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up around dogs and has been caring for cats for the past 7 years. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal’s unique quirks. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just keeping them company, I make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I'm currently unemployed so I'm mostly available at any time, but once I'm back at work, I can easily fit into my schedule no problem. Animals don't scare me, we just need to give them some space and respect their boundaries. Being calm around them always helps so they know they're not under threat.
About: I’ve had big dogs my whole life. Always rescues. I even brought a street dog home from Spain! My current dog is a rescue with past trauma and anxiety. I’m a teacher with the summer off and I absolutely love walking! During the summer, I’m available most days. Anytime, though I love early mornings. I can go for long walks of 1 to 3 hours. Once school starts again in September I’m only available after 3:30 and on weekends. I used to volunteer to walk a seniors husky. I’m looking for casual dog walking. I’m available a lot during the summer as I’m a teacher. I love early morning walks. During the school year I am available after 3:30 PM and weekends. At this time, I’m not going to be doing pet sitting, just dog walking. Maybe I’ll be interested in pet sitting later but not at this time.
“We were so happy to have Nathaniel walk Clover! She went on fun adventures every day, getting lots of exercise and we loved the photos that Nathaniel took. We would re-book any time.”

“Absolutely thrilled with my experience with Rebbeca, she has been reliable, professional and shows genuine care for my border collie Isaac. Rebecca provides amazing photos of Isaac on his walks and its clear they have made a strong bond together. My first experience with Rebecca was also on short notice and she was incredibly responsive and understanding of my situation. If you are looking for someone caring, trustworthy and dependable I can't recommend Rebecca enough.”

“Madalynn was great for the 2 dog walks she provided. Very positive experience. She was reliable, friendly, and clearly comfortable with dogs (she has her own). Rhonda has been watching my dog for over a year. She always takes such great care of him and is so flexible and accommodating. So lucky to have found Rhonda and her family that make my dog always feel at home whether it’s a play day or an extended stay I always know he’s in the best hands. Thank you Rhonda.

Kayla was an absolute gem during my two-week vacation. She coordinated seamlessly with my house sitter to ensure smooth pick-up times, and she was incredibly respectful of the safety guidelines I set—especially my request to avoid on-leash introductions between unfamiliar dogs. Her professionalism and attention to detail gave me total peace of mind. Most importantly, my dog adored her! He was visibly excited every time she arrived, and their walks together were clearly the highlight of his day. Kayla will definitely be my go-to walker for any future needs, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and knowledgeable dog walker. The Rover app was a fantastic companion tool throughout the trip. Even while I was out of the country, I received timely updates on each walk, complete with route details and adorable photos. It made me feel connected and reassured, knowing my pup was happy and well cared for. The combination of Kayla’s thoughtful service and the app’s transparency made for a truly stress-free experience.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Maple choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
